After a very busy week, you're happy and relieved to have a whole weekend without anything planned. You'll have plenty of time to relax, and time to spend with your boyfriend Enzo, who you haven't spent much time alone with lately. 

 You end up sleeping very late on Saturday morning. You don't usually sleep late at all, and definitely not as long as you sleep in this morning. You're shocked when you wake up and see what time it is. 

 "Before you leap out of bed to charging into the day, remember that today is your day off. That's why you didn't set your alarm, remember?"

 Enzo is sitting on the other side of the bed. 

 "Yeah, I remember," you answer. "So, how long have you been up? Usually, I'm the one up and ready to tackle the day."

 "I've been up for a little while. Can't have been that long. I didn't want to wake you up and cost you any of the sleep you deserved, so I decided to simply wait until you woke up." 

 "Okay, then." You kiss his cheek. "Good morning, Enzo. Do you not have anything to do today? You don't seem like you plan on going anywhere." 

 "That's because I don't. My only plan for today is you. You and me, that is, because I would like to be involved in whatever your plans are for your weekend off." 

 As you listen to him, you start to feel bad. Because of how busy you've been lately, you feel like maybe  you haven't been paying Enzo much attention. To be honest, you haven't spent much time with him at all, and yet he's here right now, talking about whatever you're going to be doing together. 

 "What are you thinking about, love?" he asks you. 

 "You're starting to make me feel bad," you answer. "I've been practically ignoring you lately, and you're being so sweet and thoughtful." 

 "I see." He wraps his arm around you. "Don't feel bad. I know you've had a lot on your mind lately, and I knew once you had the chance we would spend some time together. Turns out I just had to be patient and wait for the weekend to come around." 

 "Oh. Okay." You move closer to him. "So, what do you want to do? We could go out and do something. Lunch, the park, the movies." 

 "Oh, I don't know," Enzo answers with a sigh. "It feels like we should just stay in and appreciate the peace and quiet, doesn't it?" He kisses you on the top of your head. "I love you, you know." 

 You gently squeeze his hand. "I love you, too. Thanks for being here, and being you." 

 "You don't have to thank me for that, love. I would gladly do that any day, especially for you."
