CHAPTER ONE: THE CELL
(A/N hi! It's me again! This is my Gaster!Sans Fanfiction. I enjoyed writing the first two chapters as of this. This is my own rendition on Gaster!Sans, just so you know. Well here is the story! Hope you like the first chapter! Sorry it's so long)
I clawed furiously at the stone wall. I looked and felt awful, always have, always will. The black and white striped shirt they gave me is torn and stretched at the collar from me nervously biting and pulling on it with my teeth. The shirt shows off my stomach, I don't like it, but it's all I've got. My grey black jeans are worn an have holes at the thy and knee. My hair is short and very unkept. Every once in a while they come in with a knife and cut it for me. Normally they cut me on "accident" at the back of the neck. I have shackles around me wrists that once kept me on a wall, but they rusted and with a LOT of free time, I pulled them out of the wall. My black combat boots are covered in dirt.
The cell in which I stay is stone, floor to ceiling. As you can imagine it gets cold when you sleep on the ground, but heck this is war isn't it? The monsters resurfaced a while back, with Frisk as the ambassador. She was such a sweet, lively girl who wouldn't hurt a single soul. Well news flash Hun, the world crushes weak people like you. And that's what the world did. Some bastard thought it was a good idea to shoot and kill her at a meeting. She died on impact. That's what started this damn war.
I shake myself out of my day dreaming when I hear the sound of boots slapping the wet stone floor. The sound comes in my direction.
"Breakfast Dove." A voice from outside my cell door says and pushes a plate of stail bread and a glass of brown water under the door. I scramble towards the food. "We are being nice to you today. We've got to get your strength up for your public execution in the next couple days." The voice says and whistles as it walks away. I let the words sink in as I take a bite of the stail loaf of bread. Public execution... What are those monsters trying to do? It's not like I'm some important authority figure. I'm just a girl named Aqua who is just a nobody. No one has ever cared for me or known I exist besides these guys. I might as well tell you how I got here, not like I'm wasting my time or anything.
I was given up for adoption when I was a baby. Apparently my mother thought I was a mistake, she was probably right. I traveled through many foster homes. Aparently I'm a shy kid who is slightly psychotic and anti social. I tore apart families for just being me. God I just love being a complete reck. So the year I turned 14 I entered a family for good, or so I thought. I had found a family of just a man in his early thirties who was looking for someone like me, quiet and low maintenance. He had a German Shepard named Chaos. Chaos was the ideal dog for this guy, quiet and loyal. That day I had grabbed my suitcase, all excited for actually being a part of a family. He welcomed me in and sat me down at his kitchen table.
"Hello Aqua, my name is Glenn and I'll be your new guardian. I only have a few requests and rules. One, don't call me dad, please. Because we both know I'm not. Second, I'm not really sure why I need to mention this to you, but if you invite a friend over, please tell me. Last and final rule, don't break anything and don't touch my work. I'm a very busy man. I'm a scientist and my work is my life. Oh one more rule, don't go in the basement. That is where I keep my lab. Maybe if you are good you can visit it with me sometime." Glenn told me. I smiled at him. "Feel free to eat when you like, just don't eat all of my food, and if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. I'm here for you Aqua." Glenn said to me. I smiled at him. He whistled as he walked upstairs. Chaos looked at me and opened his mouth and his tongue rested out of the side of his mouth when he breathed. I've never had encountered a dog like him, so I didn't know what to do. I had stuck out my hand to his muzzle and he breathed on it and licked it. I sat down next to the dog and pet his head. Chaos was such a good dog. Later that day I went upstairs to my room and unpacked my clothing and other things. Chaos jumped on my bed and I smiled at him.
I went downstairs to get some food out of the fridge for dinner. I sat at the kitchen table by myself and ate till Glenn came downstairs.
"How are you enjoying the place? I'm not too strict am I?" Glenn asks me as he sat down at the kitchen table with me.
"I'm enjoying it a lot. Chaos has grown to like me and no, you are not too strict." I told him and took a bite of the pasta I reheated.
"I'm glad you like it here. Ever since my wife *cough* died I've been a little lonely. That's why I adopted you and Chaos. So now I have someone to care for." Glenn smiles.
I was so excited to sleep in a bed in my new home. I went upstairs when Glenn recommended I do. I threw on a pair of pajamas and climbed in my nice, soft bed.
I woke with a start because something glass downstairs had shattered and I heard yelling.
"I promise I'll get it to you Gaster, I just need more time. I just adopted a kid of god's sake." I heard Glenn yell.
"Don't use your excuses on me Glenn." I heard a deeper voice say to Glenn. I decided to be brave and get up and head downstairs.
I slowly slid out of my nice soft bed and put my bare feet on the cold wooden ground. I slowly opened the door and did my best to not make a sound. Something else crashed somewhere downstairs.
"For fuck's sake Gaster! You're going to wake the kid!" Glenn yelled. I tiptoed down the stairs and stood just where I could see them but they can't see me. "Gaster" was at least a foot taller then Glenn, and I thought Glenn was tall. He was clearly a monster. He had a pearly white skull with deep cuts in his skull. He towered over Glenn as he was pushed to the side of the table had his hands on the table to keep from falling on his back.
"I'll be back in approximately one week, if your work is not ready, there will be serious consequences." Gaster told Glenn. Gaster looked over at me and smiles. I tried to duck back, but it was too late. "My, aren't you just a precious little human. It would be a shame if anything happened to you." Gaster told me and disappeared out of thin air.
Glenn looked at me disapprovingly. "You shouldn't have seen that." He told me.
"I heard yelling and crashes, I'm sorry." I told him looking at my palms.
"No, don't apologize, it was my fault, just go back to bed Aqua, everything is alright." Glenn said and followed me upstairs and said good night to me.
A week had passed when I woke up in the middle of the night to a scream. I quickly ran downstairs to see what had happened. Gaster was back. I saw him towering over Glenn. Glenn was clutching his arm had blood running through his fingers.
"Go back upstairs Aqua, please." Glenn said to me starring down Gaster.
"The girl will stay and witness the only one who has ever loved her die." Gaster said and grabbed Glenn's neck and lifted him off of the ground.
"Quick Aqua, run." And that was the last thing I ever heard him say. Gaster raised a hand and a big animal skull rose out of the ground and shot a powerful beam of light at Glenn. Glenn was dead. I wanted to cry, but I couldn't. I just screamed in anger and dove at Gaster. Gaster grabbed my by the back of my shirt.
"Aren't you feisty. You're coming with me Aqua." Gaster said and we teleported to them prison in which I am now held and I've been here ever since.
