Chapter Twelve

~Xavier~

I stared out the passenger window in my uncles black suv. There is so many trees and woods through these roads it is unbelievable. We should be getting there soon. I am just so nervous. Ryder is sitting in the back and he is sleeping. OF COURSE HE IS SLEEPING! But I have to admit he is a cute sleeper. He looks like a little cute baby sleeping. Looking so innocent and vulnerable. Wait did I just use a big word? Oh no… I can’t turn into a nerd again…. But hey, I am always a nerd at heart! Oh I make myself laugh so much. I see a sign up ahead. “Welcome to Sammamish Washington. What the hell kind of town is called “Sammamish”? For real? Well…. I live in a town called Heavens Woods. So not much of a difference there. We drive through the town. Which is a bit small. Way different then Haven’s Woods. Heaven’s Woods is like a suburb of Seattle. The town of Heavens woods is a little bigger ten this but it’s still small considering. We drive for about five more minutes and turn down a road. We pull into a drive way with a big gate blocking the entrance. Jack enters a code on the pad and the gate opens. We drive through a long drive way and finally starting to see the house. Holy Shit. This house is so freaking big. Like bigger than Bay’s house. The house is made of concrete and Glass. There is a five car garage attached to the house. Plus a few cars into the driveway. In the center of the driveway and the garage is a big round flower area. He pulls around it and parks. Somehow, someway, I feel a connection near bye. I can feel that I have a twin. This feeling is so weird. Weirder that Ryder went gay for me the first time we met. We got out of the car and I stood and stared at the house. Ryder grabs my hand and looks at me. “You’ll be fine. I will be next to you the whole time.” He informs me. I nodded and we followed Jack into the house. “Jack! Oh my! What a lovely surprise!” Said an old lady. “Hey mom.” He gave her a hug and a kiss. She looks over at me and Ryder and her eyes widen. “Oh my god. Xavier!” She runs and gives me a hug and starts kissing all over my face. “You know who I am?” I asked trying to breathe. “Of course. I was there when you was born.” She informed me and hugged me tighter. “Mom what is with all the…..racket…. Xavier?” Said a guy walking towards me. I looked over at Jack and back to that guy. He has a really bony face and dimples when he talks. Like I do. Oh my god is this my father? I wondered. “Cain, this is your son Xavier and His fiancé Ryder.” Jack greets us. He walks closer to me staring right at me. I gulped. He gave me the biggest hug and gave me a kiss on the forehead. He started to cry and I feel tears come on top of my head. I let go of Ryder’s hand and hugged him back. For some reason my mind and body was telling me to hug him back. I started to tear up. “I waited for this day for so long.” He cried out. I nodded into his reply. “Wait so you two are getting married?” Asked grandma. I nodded. She gives a big smile and runs over to hug Ryder. “Welcome to the family!” She shouts. “What’s with the family reunion going on in here?” Said a woman walking from the kitchen. She stares at me and her eyes widen. “Xavier?” She asks nervously. I nod. She runs over to me and hugs me tightly. “Who are you?” I asked trying to breathe. And everyone laughs. “This is Chanel. My wife. Your step mom.” Cain informed me. “Does everyone know who I am?” I asked. Everyone laughs once again. I turn to Ryder and grab his hand. I have no clue why I feel so comforted holding Ryder’s hand. I love this feeling. Chanel looks at me and Ryder Holding hands. She smiles. Well this family is accepting. “This is Ryder. My fiancé.” I point out. Her eyes turned surprised and she smiles bigger. “OH MY LORD!” She shouts and hugs us both. “Oh Ryder, I can tell you are a wolf.” She informs him. He laughs. “He is a what?” Dad and grandma asked. “He is also my mate.” I roll my eyes. “Did you see that? He rolls his eyes just like Ivan.” Chanel laughs. “IVAN!” Dad shouts for him but no reply. “Butler Vincent, would you mine go fetching Ivan for us please?” Grandma shouts. A man from the kitchen comes walking out and heading up the stairs. “You guys have your own butler?” Ryder and I asked at the same time. They laugh again. This family must be high for how much they are laughing. “What?” A boy yelled. He came walking over to the railing on top of the stairs. He stares at me and his eyes widen. A girl comes walking besides him. “What is it?” She asks. She looks down at me and her eyes widen. “Holy shit there is two of you!” She shouts and runs down to me. She starts touching my face. “Holly this is Xavier, Ivan’s twin brother. Xavier this is Holly. Ivan’s best friend.” Chanel introduced us. “And next to him is his fiancé Ryder.” She added. “You two are gay?! Awesome!” She shouts hugging both of us. I guess Ivan is just like me. Same style, same looks, same everything. Except for the sexuality. Ivan comes walking over staring at me. He smiles at me and hugs me. I hug him back. There is a huge electricity going through my body. What the hell is going on? “Holy crap! Did you see that?” Holly shouts. “What?” Ivan and I say at the same time. We look at each other and start giggling. “There was blue electricity going through your guys bodies.” dad pointed out. “Come on lets go for a walk son.” Dad pointed out. “What about Ryder?” I asked. Ryder turned to me. “You’ll be fine. I’ll be here if you need me.” He points out and gives me a kiss. “Aw!” Chanel and Holly said at the same time. I followed dad out back and we walked down a path through the woods. It was and awkward quiet for a few minutes when he finally spoke. “Will you know… Um find you and kill your or your mother?” “Well… Um.. I don’t know how to say this or why I am saying it. I just feel like I can trust you and open up to you… Um… few days ago he had me do a mission for him. Which involved killing a bad wolf. I went to go sing at a ball to get his attention. His name was Trey. I had to much to drink and he ended up raping me. My dad… Well you know, set me up. Then they head wolf hunter, my dad, and other hunters including Trey had me held hostage. I broke free and killed them.” I informed him. His eyes widen when he heard me say that. “I am so sorry Xavier. I can’t believe he would do that to you.” He apologized and I nodded. “Are you a wolf?” He asked. “No. I am a banshee…” I started to say but he interrupted. “Like your mother.” He smiled. I nodded. “And I am a coyote.” I added. “How can you be a coyote?” He asked. “When Ryder mated with me he bit me to deep. He couldn’t stop his self. He is a rare wolf. So when he mated with me his eyes turned fully red and he couldn’t stop. I about died and Alena, my sister, had to put her blood inside of my bite to heal me. She is a cougar by the way. And wolf blood and cougar blood do not mix very well. So I had to go a couple days in pain of transitioning. Until the full moon.” I informed. “Dang, you are a full book.” He giggled. I frowned at him. “I wish I could have been there to protect you. I wish that he never came into your life and I was there this whole time. But I couldn’t risk you, me or your mom getting killed by him. I know I have missed your whole life, but I want to make it up to you. Because you are my son and I love you so much. I never wanted to leave you. But it was a choice me and your mother made together. I couldn’t see her no more. That literally killed me because I loved your mother. Heck, I still do. But I decided to just move on and quit waiting. That’s when I met Chanel. Who is also a wolf. I am her mate. I fell in love with Chanel just like I fell in love with your mother. I fell in love with you and Ivan too. Because you are my sons. And you are the only close thing I have to your mother. I want to make up to you all those years I have left behind. I want to be your father.” He smiled at me. I started to tear up. My body just took over and I ran over to him hugging him. I couldn’t control it. It just happened. I cried into his chest. And he patted my back. “I can give you a chance. Because you’re my father and you deserve the chance that you never had.” I cried more. He hugs me tight. I can tell he never wants to let go. We kept walking. “So how’s school?” He asked. “It’s good. I mean its school. So….” I laughed and so did he. “How’s your mother?” He asked. “She’s good. She got offered a job in California a few months ago. I was supposed to go until Ryder proposed. Then Ryder and I stayed at the house. And mom and Alena went to California.” “So you and Ryder are living together?” “Yeah.” “How’s that?” “It’s good. He makes me happy.” “That’s good. You deserve to be happy.” “I know.” “When you said you had to sing at the ball, does that mean you sing” He asked. I nodded. “So does Ivan.” He smiled big. “Come on let’s see what you two got.” He added and we rushed back into the house. “EVERYONE TO THE PIANO!” Dad shouts and everyone rushed into the sitting room with a big piano in the corner. “You sing?” Ivan asked me. “Yeah.” I responded. Ivan and I sat down at the piano. “Do you know Love me Harder by Ariana Grande on the piano?” Ivan asked. “Yeah, of course.” I smiled at him. We looked at each other and smiled. We started to play the piano at the same time. And we started to sing. Holy crap he has the same exact voice as I do. This is beyond amazing. We kept playing and singing to Love Me Harder. I looked over at Ryder and smiled. We finished the song and they applauded. “You guys are remarkable together!” Chanel and Grandma Shouts in excitement. “You guys could be a music group!” Holly points out. I got up and walked over next to Ryder. He wraps his arms around my shoulder and I did the same to his waist. He kissed me on the forehead and I started to blush. “Two hot gays is like the most epic fan girl love!” Holly laughed. Chanel starts to giggle. I roll my eyes and giggled too. “Come on. I will show you guys your room.” Ivan says and walks us up the long wooden stairs. We opens up the door and the room is all glass. “You can just push this button to tent the windows and this button to pull the curtains.” He pointed out the remote. I nodded and looked at the big circular bed in the room. Then there is a big shower and next to it is a big Jacuzzi tub. “Oh we can have fun in here.” Ryder winked at me. Holly started laughing. “Not too much fun where I can hear it because that is disgusting.” Ivan laughed. “I’ll let you two be.” Ivan smiled and turned around. “Oh if you need anything, push this button on the wall to talk to the butler.” Ivan smiled and walked out. Holly shut the door behind him. “This place is….. Wow.” Ryder said. I look over at him and start to wink. “Stop.” Ryder demanded. I ignored him and kept blinking. “That’s it.” He pushed me on the huge bed and I sunk down inside of the bed. “Oh my god this thing is soft.” Ryder and I said at the same time. “I like this house.” Ryder shouted. To be honest, I honestly like this house also.
