Chapter Sixteen

~Ryder~

I went to my mom’s last night laying in my bed. I didn’t sleep at all. I couldn’t stop thinking about what I did. Iregretted it so much. The bad thing was, it was with a girl. The girl that was at Xavier’s dads, Holly. I was so wasted but enough where I remember everything. I want to take it all back. I love Xavier to the moon and back. No matter what happens I will always love him and not anyone else. Maybe it’s because he is my mate or maybe it’s because he’s the one I actually loved. Xavier is the best thing that has ever happened to me. And I ruined that. I couldn’t just hide it from Xavier. I had to tell him. If I didn’t, I couldn’t live with myself from keeping such a terrible thing from him. Sutton walks in slamming the door open. “What the hell Ryder?” Sutton shouted at me. “Don’t.” I demanded. “How can you do that to Xavier?! He is the sweetest thing and you had to ruin that by getting drunk and sleeping with someone?!” She shouts at me. “I SAID DON’T!” I shouted and my eyes turned red. She walks over and sit next to me on the bed. “I just want to know why you did it Ryder.” She says to me. “I wasn’t thinking. I guess. I was drunk and I regret it. I love Xavier and I still can’t believe I did that to him.” I informed her. “Well you have to prove to him that you are truly sorry for what you did. But I doubt that he would forgive you. He has been through a lot and he thought you are the last person who would betray him like that.” Said Sutton. I sighed. “Get up and get ready for school.” Sutton demanded. “I don’t want to go.” I shouted. “Get your ass up!” Callum yelled running into my room. “If you don’t get up, I will use a spell to make you get up.” Callum pointed out. I rolled my eyes and walked into the bathroom. I look at Xavier’s ring. I started to tear up. I need him back. I need Xavier. I tried calling and texting but nothing is working. He keeps ignoring me. I got dressed and we got into my car. I ignored Callum and Sutton all the way to the school. I don’t care about any of their problems or what not. All I care about right now is getting Xavier back. And that is what I am going to do. We pull into the school parking lot and I see Xavier drove by with Logan behind him and so was Shay. He got out and walked over to me. He hands me the keys to his car. “You can take your car back. I don’t need it.” He demanded and walked away. “Oh this is worst then I thought.” Callum says. Sutton slaps him in the arm. I gulped. I walked inside the school and too my locker. “It’s going to be fine. Just win him over.” Sutton smiles at me and walks to her locker. “Come on. I mean I know you feel like shit for sleeping with Holly, but you was drunk. And when people are drunk they do stupid things.” Callum points out. I sighed and shut my locker door. I turned around and Xavier, Shay and Logan were staring at Callum and I. Oh god…. He heard who it was. Xavier shakes his hand and runs off. I was about to run off when Logan stopped me. “Don’t even think about it.” He points a finger at me. Logan and Shay run off after Xavier. This just got worst then what it already is.
