Chapter Eleven

~Xavier~

I woke up to the alarm going off. I slapped it off the table. Ugh I can’t wait until I graduate high school. I turn over and stared at Ryder until he woke up. He frowned making his dimples pop out. “Well good morning to you too.” He giggled. I leaned over and kissed him. He pulled me on top of him and I started laughing. “We have school we better be getting ready.” I mumbled through his lips. He ignored me and kept kissing me. “Ryder…” I said. He still ignored me. “I am going to punch you Ryder.” I clinched my fist. He turned me over and started tickling me. I started laughing really loud. “RYDER STOP!” I shouted and tried to squirm. “Ryder!” I shouted again. I started to laugh harder. I pushed him off the top of me and ran into the bathroom. I shut and locked the door. “I told you I had to get ready you dweeb.” I giggled through the door. “I have to pee.” He informed me. “Go to the other bathroom in the hall.” I demanded. “You are rude.” Ryder shouted and walked out of the room. I made an evil laugh and he shouted, “I heard that!” I laughed harder. I brushed my teeth and got ready for the day. I have so much homework to do it is crazy. I have to study for exams in a few weeks. Oh my god. The struggle of being a senior is real as fuck. My college acceptance letters should be coming in a month or so I think. I applied to Harvard Law. I was just doing that for fun but what if I actually get accepted? I actually applied to a lot of schools for music. So I really want to be a music producer. I love music. Music is like the best thing. I cannot go a day without music or singing or I will die. I think I survive off of music. That is what it seems like I mean. Ryder came back in the room to get dressed. “Your style has changed so much.” Ryder giggled. “Is that a bad thing?” I asked looking down at my outfit I had ripped skinny jeans, combat boots, a white tee and a red flannel. “No…. You just look really hipster now.” He pointed out. “Then that is a good thing I guess.” I frowned at him. “I like you better naked” He informed me. “Everyone does baby.” I wink at him. He laughed and shook his head. “You ready to go get some breakfast?” He asked. “Yeah lets go get some coffee.” I smiled at him. We walked down stairs and into the kitchen. My heart just fell to the floor. “Hi sweetie.” My mom smiles at me. I just stood there and stared at her. “Well are you going to give your mom a hug?” She asked looking at me. I gulped. I walked over and gave her a hug. “What are you doing here?” I asked. “Well thanks Hun for welcoming your mother back in her home.” She said sarcastically. “I’m serious, what are you doing here?” I asked again. “Well since you was ignoring all my calls and text. I came here to explain everything to you. Understood? Now sit your ass down and let me explain.” She demanded. I looked over at the clock and I had 20 minutes to get to school. “You’re not going. You two can stay here.” She smiled. “But we didn’t go yesterday.” I informed her. “I don’t care.” She responded. “You need to tell her what happened.” Ryder whispered into my ear. I nodded. “I need to tell you something too mom.” I mumbled. She looked at me confused. “Dad… Well not my so called dad, he had a mission thing for me. I went to a ball and I was supposed to kill this bad wolf. We started drinking and I had too much. We went back into the hotel room and he started to kiss me. I told him to stop. Then I passed out. I woke up naked mom. He rapped me. And Dad set me up. They took me hostage and I killed Dad and the bad wolf.” I informed. My mom’s mouth drops. She runs over me and hugs me. “Oh sweetie. I wish I was here. I can’t believe what you are going through right now. I am so sorry that I was not here. I truly am.” She cried. “Mom it is ok. Trust me. I am fine.” I pointed out. She nodded. “Now explain everything.” I demanded. She sighed. “I was in tenth grade. Your real father, Cain, Me and him was a couple. We had a plan to get married after high school. Then your fake father he stole me away from him. He told him if I ever came around her again he would kill your father. Then he would kill me. Even though he would slowly die, he would do it. So we snuck around secretly. Cain and I was so in love it was crazy. Then I got pregnant. When you was born I got a paternity test. I didn’t know whose it was. That’s when I found out it was Cain’s.” She starts to say but I interrupt. “So I killed my fake dad. That makes me feel better.” I said sarcastically. “There is also something else that I am not telling you. Xavier you have a twin.” She added. Wait what? I looked at her confused. What the hell is she talking about? “Cain and I decided it would be safer if one went with him and the other with me. Because Bryan thought I was only having one. And I kept making him think that. To keep Cain safe, and you twins.” She informed me. “So I have a twin? Does he/she look like me?” I asked still in shock. “You and Ivan are identical twins. Look exactly alike.” She informs me again. “This is too much. I need to go.” I started crying and ran out. “Xavier come back!” Ryder said in my mind. “Not right now babe. I just need time to process all of this.” I responded and shut him out. I walked down the street and put my hood up. Someone started walking behind me. I stopped and turned around. It was my uncle. “Really? Quit following me!” I shouted. “I can’t believe that you just now started to notice me watching you.” He laughed. He had my cockiness. Wow. “What do you want?” I asked aggressively. “Just doing what I usually do Xavier.” He smiled at me. “Do you have a life or something? Go do whatever you do besides watching me. I need time to myself. Alright? Now leave.” I demanded and walked off. I walked into the coffee shop and Faye looked at me. “Why aren’t you in school?” She asked crossing her arms. “Because my mom came back and told me I had a different father and that I have a twin.” I smiled sarcastically. “You have a twin?” She asked in shock. “There two of you?!” Riley asked. “Yes hoe there is two of me.” I smiled. She started to laugh. “Can I have a French vanilla Cappuccino Riley?” I asked. “Anything for you babes.” She smiles. “Oh if your twin is straight, he is mine.” Riley demanded. “Please. I am not sure I want to meet my look alike.” I rolled my eyes giving her the money. “Xavier, you have to meet your twin. Twins are connected somehow. I felt a connection in this town. And I’m pretty sure I have a twin and he or she lives here. So meet your twin.” Faye demanded. “I swear Bay is your twin.” Riley pointed out. “I don’t even know who Bay is.” Fay shouted. “Bay is your twin.” I informed. “Please tell me who she is or a picture.” Fay shouted. I pulled out my phone and showed her a picture. “Holy shit that looks like me.” Faye laughs. “I know.” Riley and I said at the same time. “There is a guy watching you Xavier.” She moves her head and I turn around. Really I told him to leave. “That is my uncle.” I informed. “Your uncle is hot.” Faye laughs. “Shut up.” I rolled my eyes and walked over to the table where he was sitting. “I thought I told you to leave.” I pointed out. “Well Xavier. You see, I can’t leave. Your father and I made a promise for me to look after you. That’s what I do.” He informs. “I don’t even know your name.” I said. “My name is Jack.” “Jack? Haha. You have an old guy name.” “Well thanks you have a nerd name.” “Nerd? That is just so hurtful. Considering I used to be one.” “I know. I still remember those days.” “How long have you been watching me again?” “Ever since you came out of your mothers…..” “Don’t finish that sentence!” I interrupted. Jack aint that bad of a person. I wonder if my dad is like him. I know it’s a little to early to wonder what he is like. But I want to see what he is like. If he is like me. And my twin. I wonder if we are exactly the same. If we like the same things. If he stills my boyfriend I will eat him. I’m serious. Ryder is mine. And only mine. “Am I going to meet my father?” I asked out of the blue. Jack looks at me with his eyes widen. “You want to meet him?” He asked. “No. I just said I wanted to meet him for the hell of it.” I said sarcastically. “You have your father’s attitude that is for sure.” He said and rolled his eyes. “So am I going to meet him?” I asked again. “Yeah. If you are ready for it. I mean he lives two hours away on a secluded land. It’s a big house. Maybe you and Ryder can drive up there.” He gestured. “Will you be coming with?” I asked. “Well for a person that wants me to leave so badly, sounds like you want me to stay.” He smiled at me. “Just shut up and answer the dang question.” I demanded. “If you want me to come then I will drive you guys up there.” He smiled. I smiled back. “Will my twin be there?” I asked. “Yes Ivan will be there. He lives there moron.” He rolled his eyes. “I really don’t like you.” I smiled. “Yeah, you’ll get used to me.” He smiled back. “So are you going to introduce your boss to your uncle?” Faye asked with her elbow on my shoulder. “Jack this is my boss Faye. Faye this is my uncle Jack.” I introduced them. “Nice too meet you.” Jack shook her hand. “Nice too meet you too.” She started to blush. “I’ll let you two be.” I said and walked over to the counter. “You shouldn’t have introduced them.” Riley pointed out. “Yeah thanks for warning me.” I said fiercely. She rolled her eyes. “I’ll see you later.” I said and walked out of the coffee shop. I walked home to Ryder and my mom sitting on the couch watching TV. “Hey.” I said walking into the living room. “So Uncle Jack has been watching me ever since I came out of you vagina mom.” I laughed. “What?” She asked in shock. “Uncle Jack.” I smiled at her. “Dear god.” She picks up her phone and dials a number. “JACK WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WATCHING MY SON FOR ALL THESE YEARS?!” She shouts into the phone. “I don’t care what Cain had you do. You should not have been acting like a freaking stalker.” She shouts into the phone. “You know what, shut the fuck up.” She says and hangs up the phone. I looked at her in shock. I never seen her cuss like that before. “I think you hate Jack.” I grinned at her. “He gets on my last nerves. You do not understand.” She says and walks into the kitchen. Ryder and I look at each other and start laughing. “DO NOT LAUGH AT ME!” She shouts from the kitchen. We laugh even harder. “Don’t worry mom. We understand.” I laugh more. I turn to Ryder and I smile. “What?” He asked raising an eyebrow. “Me, You and my uncle are going to go meet my dad and my twin brother two hours away from here.” I informed him. His eyes widen. “We are what?” He asked. “I said….” I began to say but he interrupted. “I know what you said but do you think you are ready for such a big step already?” He asked me. “Yeah, I mean I just have so many questions. I want to know what my father and my twin brother look like.” I let out a small frown. “Well if you are ready I will be by your side one hundred percent until the end.” He smiles at me and gives me a kiss.
