"This bit always makes me cry," I whispered as the end scene of Monsters Inc started, where Mike had built Boo's door back up.

"I know," Michael's smile was clear in his voice as he held me tighter to his chest.

The movie soon drew to a close and Michael turned off the tv, clearing his throat as I looked at him expectantly.

"I was thinking," He begun.

"Did it hurt?" I joked with a small giggle, smiling as he was let out a laugh.

"But seriously. What if you stayed as part of the group for the purposes of writing, recording and releasing music but do a little bit of solo work on the side?" He asked quietly and I looked at him in confusion.

"What, like release my own music and go on my own tour?" I asked, fiddling with his fingers as he nodded, looking into my eyes for approval.

"Would that work?" I asked unsure. It was one thing to go out on the road with all your friends and another to go it completely alone.

"It worked for Brendon," Michael added and I let out a slow nod.

"I guess I could see management about possibly writing up a side contract," I said, and Michael smiled, pulling me into his lap.

"whatever you want to do, I will support you. I just thought it would be a good way of sorting out your situation," He sighed and I nodded, placing a kiss to his forehead before standing up and pulling me with him.

"Now come on, I want food."

"Are you sure you guys are ok with this?" I asked Ellen and Tamara as I was about to sign my contract, Simon watching us eagerly.

"Hey, it's not like you're leaving us completely. Plus we're doing our own things, and this is yours," Tamara smiled and Ellen nodded along, nervously glancing at her phone, this being the longest time she had spent away from Della since the birth.

"Ok," I sighed, clicking the pen and signing the contract that I had read over and amended three times.

"We'll set up for some studio dates to work on your album since The Rockettes one has already been written," Simon started but I shook my head.

"I've been speaking with John and he's agreed that to get my album to the level I want it, I'm to go to LA and work with him for a while," I stated, causing gasps to erupt from the three mouths infront of me.

"How long will you be gone?" Ellen croaked, and I tried my best not to break my cool barrier as I told them I would be gone for three months.

"And how does Michael feel?"

"He's supporting me 100% and he understands and agrees that going to LA for a bit and working with Feldy will be best," I explained with a smile, them all replying with silent nods.

"Now, I need to go home and get packed, my flight is tomorrow night," I explained, standing up and hugging them each one by one.

"Stay safe, ok?"

"I will, I always will."
