Karen and Darryl were waiting at the airport, engulfing Michael in hugs as I stood awkwardly to the side, leaving them to their family time.

It made me miss my parents and Alyssa, and as much as I loved exploring the world, performing and meeting fans, I couldn't wait for the year long break from touring we were having after. However it would still be a busy year, with our 3rd Album, baby Irwin and Calum and Tamara's wedding.

But I was excited for what was to come, as I waited continuously patiently at the Clifford's side.

Soon, Karen was engulfing me in a big hug too and I smiled into it, telling her how much I'd missed her.

Darryl smiled at me after I pulled away from Karen, and I was almost in complete shock as he hugged me too.

"Sorry for being a dick the first time I met ya," he said and I nodded, smiling.

"Come on, let's get you two home, you must be tired," Karen chuckled as we said goodbye to everyone else as they all split off, Ellen going with the Irwins  and Tam with the Hoods, joy raving with excitement about the ring on Tamara's finger.

The whole drive home, I was practically falling asleep but I had always had trouble sleeping in cars so I was just in that horrible dozey haze.

When we eventually got to Michael's home, we both said goodnight to his parents before going up to his room, barely able to make it to the bed before falling into a deep sleep.

My few days spent in Sydney were great, just chilling with Michael's family and getting to know them better.

Darryl was treating me like a completely different person since my last visit, whilst his grandparents seemed to like me, which I was glad for.

It was now time for the girls and I to leave for Melbourne, whilst the boys were stopping off in Sydney.

We were at the airport, and I had my arms wrapped around Michael's middle, not wanting to let him go.

"It's just a couple of weeks," Michael whispered into my hair, playing with a few of the curls.

"Yeah, but it's gonna feel like a couple of years," I sighed, burying my face into his chest to try and hide from the world.

Just as I was reaching on my tip toes to kiss him, a tannoy announcement went out to say that our flight would begin boarding and I resignedly sighed, resting my head on his shoulder.

"I love you, ok?" He said, placing a kiss to my forehead. I nodded, telling him I loved him before placing a soft kiss to his lips and slowly making my way to the boarding gate with Ellen and Tamara.

The three of us sadly waved to the boys before having to turn our backs on them. I think this was one of the times it hurt the most to be separated from them, simply because we had been inseparable for the first time in months.

Once we were on the plane, I talked to El and Tam a bit before placing my earphones in and closing my eyes, hoping to just float away.

"THANK YOU MELBOURNE, YOU'VE BEEN AMAZING!" Ellen screamed into her microphone before we ran off, straight onto the tourbus to head for Perth.

I was just going to grab an early night, until I saw the same trashy tabloid news show on the TV, this time talking on a segment about groupies. Classy.

"5 Seconds Of Summer star Luke Hemmings seems to have picked up a new girl whilst visiting friends in New York. In a YouTube video the girl created, she dished up on all the dirty doings with Hemmings, stating how he "needed a release" and that she "was more than happy to help." Well, ladies, place your bets on how this will pan out considering Luke's now long term girlfriend Arzaylea seems to have been showing a bit of indifference towards the singer recently."

"It's like they just can't get a life and find something new," Tamara sighed as she collapsed onto the sofa, blonde hair in a ponytail out of her face.

"To be fair, Luke has been a dick of late. Is he still not even taking you on?" Ellen turned to me and I nodded.

"It's like I'm not even there and it hurts because apart from Michael, I was closest to Luke, and he helped me through a lot. It seems like it just doesn't matter to him anymore," I sighed, throwing my curls into a messy bun.

"His loss anyways," Tamara tried to cheer me up and I half heartedly smiled at her.

"I'm gonna head to bed, I'll see you both in the morning," I waved and they said goodnight to me as I climbed into my bunk, sending Michael a quick text before finally letting my eyes close shut so I could drift off into oblivion.
