A bright light was shining down on the four beings, each glowing their own respective color. The first walked up to a pool, a image swirling into focus. The blue aura that surrounded her brightened, and a voice called,

"River, have you chosen the child you are going to give your power to?"

"Yes. I will bestow the power of water to Yuki Amaya Waterstar. I will then rest in peace...." River stated, the sound of rain and rushing water the backdrop for her voice. Then a man strode to the pool, his earth-colored aura swirling gracefully like vines. The voice called again,

"Everest, have you chosen?"

"Yes. I bestow the power of earth to Echigo Adam Slate. Now I will rest with my wife forever..." Everest said, a rockslide was concealed by his voice, as he cast a loving glace at River. Next a woman walked up , her pale aura unscathed, wind gusting as she strode,blowing her bleach-blonde hair into her face. The voice called,

"Breeze, have you chosen as well?"

" I have. I will grant the power of wind to Yami Aria Grove. Then I can be free of stress." Breeze called, over the howling wind her voice summoned. Finally, the youngest woman came forth, her blood-red aura brightening and dimming, as fire. The voice called,

"Ember, have you chosen?"

"Yes. The controller of fire will now be Kasia Blasa Lavrock. Then I will melt into everlasting peace." Ember replied, the crackling of fire hidden in her voice.

"All has been done. You may rest now. May the elements be with you." The voice said, as the four grasped hands and disappeared, yelling one last time,

 "We are the keyholders!!"
