I walked inside his place. As I expected, it was pretty messy. He offered me a seat on the couch while he plopped on the chair. I asked, "Shino-san, how long have you been in this...situation?"

"For at least a week. I haven't had any work, so I spent this time trying to make a manga worth reading." Shine-san explained.

I raised my eyebrows, "Really? May I see it?"

He stood up and walked toward the desk. He moved some papers and found a stack of papers that I could only assume was his storyboard. He handed it to me and I started to read it. After reading it thoroughly, I finally said, "This is actually really good. I need you to finish it before I can make any corrections."

Shino-san looked more relaxed, "Do you really believe that?"

I nodded, "Yes, I do."

He fell to the floor and kowtowed, "Thank you so much!"

I nervously laughed, "You're welcome. You can get up now."

MARUKAWA SHOTEN

Everyone, except Hatori-san and Onodera-kun, laughed at my report. I said, "It's really not that funny."

Kisa-san managed to calm down long enough to say, "An author kowtowing to an editor! Do you have any idea how rare that is?"

"I know it's rare, but it's nothing worth laughing over." I told him.

"According to our records, Shino-san hasn't been able to sell a single book due to his constant battle of depression. I hope you're ready to tackle this, Midori." Takano-san told me.

I nodded, "Just leave it to me."

Work ended for the day. Before I left,  Mino-san came to me, "You've become quite the presence around here."

I smiled, "Thank you. I actually like it around here."

Mino-san touched my shoulder, "Keep up the good work."

When he walked away, I still felt the heat of his touch on my shoulder. While I was walking home with Kisa-san, I noticed he was giving me a smirk. I finally asked, "What are you thinking about?"

Kisa-san chuckled, "I saw what happened between you and Mino."

I blushed, "I didn't expect that to happen, to be honest."

He laughed, "I can tell you felt it. Don't be afraid to try."

I smiled, "Thank you, Kisa-san."

He nodded, "No problem."
