Maroon's POV

"Come on Maroon. Don't cry" a male with hair like a raven in the midst of night said. His piercing deep blue eyes filled with worry and concern. I looked up at the bigger male in front of me. "E-Ethan...." I said weakly as the tears kept pooling. He held his arms out. Without hesitation, I quickly ran into them. Ethan tightly wrapped his arms around my shaking body, engulfing me in his warmth. We say like this for what felt like forever. Me burying my head in his chest, breathing in his scent. While Ethan just kept rubbing soothing circles on my back, whispering comforting words to me, and kissing my fluffy dark brown hair. After a few more minutes, we pulled away. I was only sniffing now. "Let's go home, Maroon. " Ethan grabbed me around the waist tightly. Behind him, two giant black wings sprouted from his back. With a great push of his wings, we were in the sky. I quickly fell asleep in his arms blissfully.
