Maroon's POV

A loud blaring noise awoke me from my slumber. I hit the off button on my alarm and got up, going to Ethan's room.

Walking in like I usually do, I went over to his bed. "Ethan, come on, wake up." I said all the while hitting his shoulder roughly.

Suddenly, he grabbed my hand. Startled, I took a step back, my hand still in his grasp. He rose as if he were a vampire rising from its coffin. He looked over at me with those steel eyes of his.

"What?" He said in a groggy deep voice. He sounds like a Cry Reads video.

"Can you please make me some waffles?" I asked with puppy eyes. "Fine." He said, rubbing his eyes. "Thank you big brother!" I exclaimed. I went back into my room, grabbing my clothes.

I decided on black skinny jeans, a red shirt with a cat on it, and a black beanie.

Once I got out the shower, I slipped on my clothes. A few moments later, Ethan's voice drifted upstairs saying to come eat.

I ran down stairs, only to stop dead in my tracks, gazing at my brother.

He wore a pair of grey sweatpants with no shirt, showing off his toned , but not to toned, body.

"So are you going to eat or just stand there all day?" He said with a chuckle, snapping me out of my daze.

We started eating, me sighing in sweet bliss every time I take a bite.

Damn he's an amazing cook.

When I finished eating, I grabbed my bag and slipped on my converses from upstairs. I ran down the steps heading to the door, only to be stopped by a hard chest.

"Your not leaving without saying bye to me, are you?" Ethan said looking down at me.

"Of course not." I said as I wrapped my arms around him, Ethan doing the same.

"Bye Ethan! See you later!" I said waving to him from the sidewalk. He waved back with that charming smile of his.

Halfway to my school, I hear someone screaming my name.

I turned around, only to be gloomped by a female.

"Iris get off of me."

She got up and went back to walking.

She wore a black totoro dress that goes to her knees, a pair of black stockings with cat faces at the top and black boots.

"It's not my fault you left me." She said. I sighed in response.

Time Skip to middle of sixth period

"Hey look it's the little fag!" One of the jocks said.

"Hey guys, let's teach this guy that he should go die somewhere." Said the leader of the pack.

That was an hour ago.

I have now barricaded myself in the boys bathroom, terrified of what will come next after the bullies had their boxing lessons with me.

The teachers and Iris have all tried to coax me out, but failed.

I just want to be back at home in the safety of Ethan's arms.

Right after I thought this, I could hear my guardian angel's voice talking to one of the teachers.

"Hey Maroon."

"E-Ethan?"

"Yeah. It's me. Can you let me in?" He said.

I hesitated, but went to the door and unlocked it.

Ethan quickly slipped in, locking the door back.

When he turned around, an army of emotions flitted across his face. It was mostly concern and worry, but rage quickly catching up to them.

Ethan's POV

I was absolutely furious.

Maroon was in the corner of the room, eyes wet with tears, bruised and bloody.

He looked up at me and held his arms out.

I ran over to him, enveloping him in my arms. I wiped away his tears.

"Shhh. It's okay. Everything will be alright. I'll always keep you safe.

I hit him on the back of the neck, to which he fell unconscious.

I pulled away from him slightly. "Whenever you need me," I said pulling off one of the necklaces I always wore from around my neck(the one in the pic above or on side). "Just call for me. I will be there."

I put the necklace around Maroon's neck.

"Iris, get in here." I said.

In a matter of seconds, Iris was standing by my side.(This'll be explained in future chapters)

"Yes sir?" She said.

"Please take Maroon home, safely." I told her.

She went over to Maroon and picked him up. Before she was about to leave, she turned back to me.

"Sir what do you plan to do to the people that did this?" She asked me.

I simply responded with, "What I deem to be fit."

She nodded, turned back around, and was gone.

I got up off of the floor.

Whoever did this will be forced to face the punishment. He who denies, shall face The Demon Prince. Son of The Demon King.

A/N: So how'd you guys like it?

I hope you all enjoyed. I tried to make this a longer chapter.

Might I add that I'm quiet proud of myself. 940 words!

In the span of about a day and a half.

New record.

Now before you all say it, yes I know Ethan's eyes were blue, but I didn't really think it really went with the story. So I changed it.

Also! I will be coming out with character bios and pictures as they appear.

So first it would be the three characters we said hello to in this chapter.
