You probably figured it out already, but in case you didn't, Peter Parker wasn't fan of going on trips, parties, vacation, or anything even close to those words. Not as if he doesn't enjoy them, it's that he can't afford going to those. He can't let himself have fun somewhere where there is looming threat over the city. He couldn't afford going somewhere far on the school trip, because that meant he would leave the city unprotected.

That's maybe why he said no to the ski trip everyone was gushing about for weeks.

And that's also why Tony Stark literally dashed into his room, almost blowing a window up, few seconds after Peter told Ned over the phone that he couldn't go.

"Kid, you need to do... kid stuff." Tony said sternly, or at least... his suit did. Peter didn't doubt the man was somewhere else and not with him in that moment.

"Why? You said yourself once that if I'm about to be hero, I need to have some sense of responsibility—" the younger boy began to argue, clearly upset, but Mr. Stark quickly cut him off.

"Kid, go to this trip. Four days isn't that much, if anything happens with that green little bitc— bastard, I will take care of it."

Oh so now he was willing to help with the villain, but Peter couldn't get mad for the man being able to help just now, knowing the Avengers were probably on some sort of mission. He didn't know they were actually chilling all day at the Stark Tower sipping on their smoothies.

"I don't know, Mr. Stark—"

"Go. Or Natasha will kill me."

And that's how he ended up packing his suitcase with a grumpy face on. Don't get him wrong, he was happy he could go, but he couldn't shake the feeling of worry, like something bad would happen while he was gone, even though the Green Goblin attacked just two days before the trip, and it was most likely he won't appear again for the next few following days.

So there he was, in the school bus, sitting with Ned who had that kind of pillow around his neck and blanket over himself. No one could blame the boy though, it was freezing cold after all. It was a week before Christmas and it looked like they would finally be having a snowing Christmas for the first time in years.

Michelle was sitting in a seat in front of them with a blonde girl named Betty, so the trio was close to each-other. Michelle decided to sleep during the whole four hour trip because apparently she would rather shot herself than sit there for hours aware of losers around her.

Flash and that popular squad were of course, in the back, making as much noise as possible to attract everyone's attention. They were blasting music off their speaker at 6 a.m. Professors insisted on going this early so they can be at the hotel at 10 a.m. already, so they don't lose half on their day on just travelling. The whole bus was trying to sleep at least for an hour since it was so early, but it was nearly impossible with those idiots making noise in the back. Peter wondered how come they weren't tired. They were all probably on crack.

"God, would they shut up already, this is getting so annoying." Michelle groaned as she tried to cover her ears. Peter glanced at his other friend who was sitting next to him. He was unbothered since he wore huge headphones.

"Literally everyone is so tired." Betty joined conversation too, looking furious. The brunet looked around, at it was true. People were all complaining quietly and groaning, none of them really brave enough to do anything out of fear probably

Suddenly, a certain furious-looking redhead stood up and turned around with face red that matched her hair out of anger. She marched towards the last row of seats to the back of the bus, Harry Osborn trying to grab her hand and stop her, but the girl was like a rhino. She stomped towards Flash who was holding the speaker, everyone including professors turning their heads to see what was about to happen.

When she stepped right in front of him with a scowl on her face, the boy swallowed down as he looked up to her.

"Listen here, dipshit." She said loud enough for everyone to hear. "It's too early for everyone to deal with your fucking crap. So either you turn that shit off, or I will turn you off." She was swearing loudly even professors winced at her language but didn't want to mess with the situation.

"What will you do about it?" One boy grinned back at her, obviously not getting her seriously.

"I will karate chop your fucking balls off." She snarled at him with death glare. "Of the next time I see you I will invite Bambi's doberman to do it instead. Or, if you don't want any violence, I could tell Mr. Stacy what kind of shit you are smuggling here in your bags and where are your usual druggie locations, so someone else at the juvie could beat you up for a year."

The boy's pride fell at that and he looked away with wide eyes, trying to move away from the pressure of her threatening gaze.

Flash nodded his head few times quickly before turning it off, not sparing the redhead a second glance. Mary Jane gave him spiteful looking smile before turning on her heal and marching away like she was on the catwalk, everyone staring at the vicious girl in awe, Harry's jaw dropped so low it almost touched the floor.

"God is a woman and her name is Mary Jane Watson." Betty said in admiration as her eyes followed the mentioned girl as she sat next to her friends again. Gwen was covering her red flaming face in embarrassment, Bambi was laughing her head off while Harry looked at Mary Jane as if she was the love of his life.

Needless to say, the rest of that drive was quiet and peaceful, even the cool gang in the back fell asleep. Later on, when everybody was wide awake and buzzing with energy, including Peter, who was also being washed off by his nerves. He really hoped nothing would happen while he was gone.

They arrived at the hotel and professors began to give out the keys of the room.

"Remember guys, three of four people per room! And no mixing boys and girls!"

Peter exchanged glanced with his best friend. There was only two of them, and Michelle, as said, couldn't be with them in the same room. They knew they didn't really want to end up in random kid in the room with them. They frantically looked around, but they weren't good with many people. Actually, they weren't good with anyone. Michelle looked even more desperate since she doesn't hang out with people that much.

"Hey!" Suddenly, too familiar soft female voice called out to them and the whole trio jumped in surprise, turning around quickly with eyes wide. And there was their saviour. Angel itself. Bambi Moody, standing there, glowing. "Woah chill, it's just me." She smiled.

'It's just me.' Peter snorted to himself.

"Looks like you guys have some... issues with the room too." Gwen popped in conversation too. "Why wouldn't Harry join you guys," she pointed at Peter and Ned, "While Michelle joins with us."

What is even happening.

Best friends exchanged very surprised look in their wide brown eyes. Harry was standing there and waved in a friendly way, offering a little smile. MJ was standing next to him, smiling as well. Were they really about to become friends??

"Oh." Both of them said in unison.

"Yea- ye sure." Peter stuttered a little as he stuffed his hands in the pocket of his jeans, trying to look cool. What an idiot.

"Great! Than it's settled!" Moody said before motioning with her head to the brown skinned girl that was on the other side.

The girl was still speechless as she was pulling her big suitcase along. It was a funny scene, specially because Michelle wasn't type of person to get this nervous. Peter caught her stealing glances at Stacy girl, and he grinned to himself.

"Do you need help with that?" He heard Gwen ask the taller girl who just managed to nod with her head. Gwen single handedly grabbed the suitcase and tried to lift it up when they reached the stairs, but struggled a little. Michelle awkwardly chuckled as she tried to grab the handle of it as well, only for her fingers to brush against other girl's. She panicked and both of them dropped the suitcase.

"Jesus." Peter laughed harder before jogging to the girls and helped them carry it.

Later, they settled in the room, Harry trailing off behind them.

"So, you guys ski or snowboard?" The Osborn boy tried to start conversation once when they completely settled in. Ned threw himself on the bed, exhausted already.

Peter knew Harry could be one of those typical rich popular kids. He could hang out with Flash, because he had a face of that cliche jock of the school. Weirdly, he was not, and he hanged out only with those three girls and few other male friends. Everyone said he was good person and not spoiled at all. Besides, he didn't even wear any marked clothes that would give away he was hella rich (but he does have very good fashion sense), but apparently he will buy you a whole dinner or literally anything without batting his eye. He didn't really care about himself, he loved buying things for other people. Sometimes he would buy clothes or expensive make-up for his girl friends.

"Peter is going to teach me how to ski. He is really good at it." Ned said proudly of his friend as he pulled out a bag of chips.

"Really?" Harry raised his eyebrows as he looked at the mentioned boy. Apparently, Harry raises his eyebrows a lot. "Well you should teach Bambi then, if it's not the problem. That girl skis like a deer on ice."

At that, Peter choked at nothing.

"We would help her but... only Mary knows how to ski. Gwen snowboards. And I... well it's unknown who skis worse- Bam-Bam or I." He explained further once when he saw how flustered the boy got. It made him amused.

Peter tried to suppress a smile that was about to break out on his lips at the girl's nickname. Bam-Bam. It was adorable. He failed though, so he just bowed his head to hide it.

"Yeah, sure man." He cleared his throat quietly, trying not to stutter again as before.

He caught Harry grin to himself, and panic rose up in him immediately. Was he so obvious about his crush on the brunette? Was it that easy to read him? Oh god, what if the boy tells her? Or worse, what is she knew already.

Luckily, Ned changed the topic and asked something about Star Wars, and Peter visibly relaxed. It turned out the trio actually had a lot in common. Soon they were laughing about something stupid as they began to dress up for the skiing. Harry Osborn was actually really cool and chill person, and Peter was glad they ended up in room with him and not somebody else.

"You guys like the Avengers?" He questioned once when they were getting down the stairs. Both Ned and Harry were struggling at carrying their skis and ski boots, meanwhile the third boy carried them with ease.

"Oh man, we love them." Ned said as he looked at his friend with the corners of his eyes right before one of his ski boots fell down, making loud crash that echoed through the whole hotel. The tallest boy beside him chuckled and bent over to help him, but failed as well. Suddenly, all their stuff fell down with even louder crash, making good amount of people turn around, both boys trying to pick their things up as fast as possible, making Peter laugh.

"Oh jeez, look at these dorks." They heard Mary Jane chuckling with glint in her eyes that revealed she was enjoying the scene. Harry scowled at her, trying not to smile but failing. Peter wondered if there was something between the two. The rest of the girls joined in too.

Michelle wore black ski pants and long baggy yellow jacket for snowboarding that was almost reaching her knees and had fur on the hood with black beanie and gloves that were little too big for her. She looked rather competitive as Gwen and her were the only one in squad that held snowboards. Peter knew the girl learned how to snowboard a while ago, and it wasn't too hard for her since she was technically living on her skateboard.

Mary Jane, except wearing red ski suit (apparently red was her favourite colour), she also wore a smug smile on her face as she never took her eyes of Harry, who swallowed down his pride.

Bambi stood there with lips pressed tightly. She wore red ski pants and dark grey jacket with red cap. She held her skis tightly, obviously nervous. She held her gaze locked with Peter's. She probably heard already Harry's idea. The boy found himself nervous when she was looking at him.

"What were you guys talking about?" Michelle asked as they all began to walk out of hotel with rest of the students, professors leading them all.

"Avengers!" Harry exclaimed excitedly.

"Ohh, we love talking about them." Gwen smiled. "Mary Jane, Harry and Bambi are big Spider-Man fans."

At this, Peter looked straight at Bambi again, but the girl did not look at him. He wondered if she told them about her meetings with the hero, but since no one gave her those winky faces or anything teasingly, he guessed she didn't.

"For real?" His dark skinned friend smiled, trying hard not to look at his best friend that was actually the mentioned hero. "We love him too."

"Did you hear about Mary Jane's theory about him being a stripper?" Michelle popped in with a smirk on her face.

"That he is a what?" Peter frowned.

"A stripper? It makes perfect sense!" The redhead explained excitedly as she jumped in place couple times.

"It really doesn't." Bambi and Peter said at the same time, with uninterested and annoyed tone of voice, making the two look at each-other. Pink flush rose across the boy's cheeks and neck and he cleared his throat while the girl just chuckled a little. Harry watched the interaction, suddenly being all obvious to this, what was ironic since he was oblivious to Mary Jane's crush on him.

After thirty minutes full of everyone putting on their ski boots (Bambi, Ned and Harry struggled with that a little), they were preparing to ride on the ski lift, trying to divide themselves into groups. Mary Jane, Harry, Michelle and Gwen got into the first one while the rest of the group; Ned, Peter and Bambi waited for the next one.

"Ever skied?" Peter asked the girl beside him as they sat down on the ski lift.

"Nope." The brunette admitted, looking absolutely petrified. She was gripping at the metal edge as she stared down at the people that were calmly skiing and having fun. She lifted her gaze up again with eyes wide and mouth tightly shut. It was cold outside and the wind was blowing against her skin, her nose was bright red and she looked sick. In that moment, name Rudolf would suit her better. Of course, Peter didn't tell her that.

"This is Ned's first time too! You have nothing to worry about!" The slightly curly haired boy beamed with a cheerful smile on his face as he looked between the two, each sitting on one of his sides.

The girl just offered him nervous smile before looking off somewhere in the distance. The boy wondered if she was alright. She looked happier than usual, but it felt little... fake. It felt like she pretended to be all cheery and fine all over again as Michelle once mentioned she never showed any distress when her grandparents died. He wanted to ask her about that so bad, but there was no place for him in that topic. He wanted to ask the girl if she was okay, or how was she holding up.

He didn't.

Because soon enough, the ride was coming to an end and he could hear shorter girl's heart picking up the speed. His eyes travelled around, not really espying anything that would make her worry.

"Is that a slope over there?" She pointed to the place where ski lift took a turn back and people were supposed to take off it.

"Ugh... yeah? So it gives you like, a lil push?" Peter explained confusedly as he began to slowly push upwards the metal that was there for protection so they wouldn't fall out of the ski lift.

"But that looks very steep." As they moved closer to it, the boy with supernatural abilities could hear her heart going even faster, and so was Ned's.

"You can hold my hand." He said before his eyes widened. "I— I mean, you can hold for me, I don't mind— so you don't fall..." he explained in the rush, tripping over his own words. He didn't even look at the brown eyed girl as he quickly snaked one of his arms around Ned's, and the other one around Bambi's hand, holding them both closely.

Ned, even though he was dying out of fear too, was silently laughing to himself at their interaction, ducking his head down so the pair wouldn't see him.

They got off it and Peter felt the girl beside him squeeze herself against his body tighter, her breath caught in her throat. The taller boy's body stiffed at the interaction, she was so close he could smell what kind of shampoo she used. Bambi Moody had specific aroma that didn't smell like she put tons of perfume. Some smells were impossible to describe, and the boy didn't want to exaggerate. She smelt like you wanted to stick up your nose in her body (and he meant this in non sexual way) so you could smell it longer. She smelt like when you are doing something random during the day and suddenly that too familiar aroma hits you but it's not known where have you smelled it before.

"Peter—" she whined as they descended down the slope, Ned literally repeatedly saying 'oh my god' under his breath. Peter held both of his friends close as he easily slowed them down to stop next to others who got off before them. In the moment when they finally stopped, both Bambi and Ned were hugging the strong boy's torso with eyes squeezed shut. Parker boy took a good look of them both, amused by this. He liked the feeling of Bambi's arms around him. It felt nice, warm and full of comfort.

"That was wild." Ned finally breathed out after holding his breath for so long as he tried to adjust himself, dusting off his pants and trying to stand taller, clearly embarrassed of this since everyone saw it.

"Gwen and I will race. Catch you guys later." Michelle said after she adjusted her snowboard bindings quickly taking off and sticking out her tongue to the other girl.

"Hey! Not fair!" She called out as she quickly set her snowboard bindings as well, snowboarding right after her. The two girls sped off in the distance as loud howls of their laughter could be heard. Gwen was amazingly good at this sport as she snowboarded down with grace and elegancy, meanwhile Michelle was quick at actions, jumping down the little snow hills that would appear on her way. When you would look at Gwen Stacy snowboarding you would know the girl was safe and sound, but then when you spare a glance at the other girl, you become slightly terrified for her.

"That's great." Mary Jane murmured under her breath before turning to face her friend. "Ready for some education?" She jokingly said as she skied forward slowly, expecting Harry, who swallowed down, to follow along. The boy quickly threw a look at the remaining trio with fear in his eyes before awkwardly trying to walk in skis towards the short redhead.

"Okay so, I should maybe start teaching you guys basics on somewhere..." he looked down the hill. "Less dangerous."

The trio turned around to the other side of the hill where the ground wasn't as steep as the other one. Kids were swarming around everywhere, some with their parents and some with their ski teachers. There were even some adults that looked like they weren't pro at it too, and it seemed to be perfect place to learn it, where nobody could judge you.

Peter tried to explain as clearly and simply as possible, showing them the position of legs and body. The duo he was teaching took his little lesson very seriously as they mimicked the boy's actions.

Ned was catching up pretty quickly, and it was honestly no surprise since the boy was really smart in general and he always found a way to be good at something through pure logic. It didn't matter that he wasn't a sporty type, the technique mattered.

Bambi... was different type of story. She understood the technique and the ways she needed to do it, but the fear of falling was holding her back, and when you fear of failing, it was most likely you actually will fail, and so she did. She was falling all over the place or panicked when she was going too fast. She would try to stop herself but then fall on her arse. It was funny and of course adorable, at least to Peter.

"It's not funny." The girl whined once when she was struggling to stand up again. The name suited her perfectly since she literally looked like little baby deer trying to shakily stand up after falling down.

"Sorry." Peter apologised as he tried to swallow up another smile that was trying to stretch itself on his lips. "You need help?" At that, the girl threw him 'really?' look in her eyes and he began to correct himself in a rush. "I mean... um... you obviously do but I wasn't sure if- if you want it or—"

"Parker just shut up and come help me."

"Okay." He snapped his jaw shut as he tried to walk in skis to the girl, standing right in front of her. He set her legs facing each-other so her skis created letter V while facing her, he did opposite so the back of his skis were in that position. Before he managed to overthink about if he should hold her hands or something like that, he came to the idea to let her hold herself for his ski stick with both of his hands while he was holding it horizontally.

Bambi bent her knees a little as the boy slowly skied backwards, his eyes glued to the girl who couldn't keep staring at the ground at her legs.

"Don't bend over towards me that much—" And then of course he overthought his sentence again and his brown eyes widened. "I mean—"

"That's what she said." The girl cut him off with a joke as she grinned and looked up to the boy for the first time in few minutes. She didn't seem to be too bothered by making dirty jokes. Peter decided to just let it go as he raised his hands a little higher so the girl would straighten her back, and his idea worked. "This feels nice."

"That's what she said, too." He repeated her phrase again, grinning to himself.

"Parker! Stop making things so sexual, god." She rolled her brown eyes but was obviously amused by the situation. "You overthink every sentence of yours. Just relax."  He didn't really fancy the fact this girl was able to read people as they were books, and she did it without even trying.

"Well you stop reading me like a book."

"It's not that hard." She shrugged.

"Oh really? And what's my story?"

She thought about it for a short second before composing herself. "You're that type of boy that  fears of saying something wrong and would repeat a sentence thousand times in your head to make sure it sounds good and not stupid. You want to make yourself feel good by helping other people and probably get upset when you don't manage to. You most likely notice little things about person and could really cherish somebody other than yourself because people rejected you or were mean to you too many times."

Well that felt like a giant slap across his face.

Peter stood there stunned as he forgot where they were in that moment. Her statement didn't hurt him at all, but made him afraid by how accurate it was. The girl just stood there with a little smile like she just didn't discover dark depths of Peter Parker. He wouldn't be surprised if she just pulled out 'and you're Spider-Man' card too.

"Oh wow." He managed to breathe out as he bowed his head a little. For some reason he felt so stupid and ashamed. What if the girl was annoyed by that, by him. What if she said all of this just to give him a wake up call and make him fix those things? What if—

"You're doing it again. Stop." She said as she pulled the ski stick closer to her. "I don't think so lowly of yo—"

And in that moment, Peter tripped over something and his body flew down, making the girl fall with him too with a loud shriek coming out of her mouth. The boy braced himself for the impact since he knew he was about to land on his back. Normal person wouldn't be able to soothe the fall with their hands if they were holding the ski stick in that moment, but Peter Parker wasn't a normal person. The fall at first wasn't that bad since he fell on his arms, but the girl that he was helping wasn't as fast as him since she didn't have superpowers and she crashed into his body, making his arms give out and they both fell down, one of Bambi's ski boots falling out of the ski in process.

Bambi safely landed on the boy's chest but quickly put her hands next to each side of his head, propping herself up a little, but their bodies were still super close making physical contact. Peter saw her look down at him, and their eyes locked. It passed moments with them just lying there on the cold snow, staring at each-other with eyes wide open as girl's mouth was opened a little. She shut her mouth when she realised what she was doing, and visibly gulped. Their legs were dangled together (and probably skis too).

And for the probably first time, Bambi blushed. Like, a lot. The red colour painted itself all across her cheeks and nose, looking like she was sick or like she wanted to punch somebody out of anger.

"H-Hi." Peter swallowed his salvia before the corners of his mouth turned upwards a little but not too much. He could hear and feel the brunette's heartbeat in his ears and in his chest. It wasn't beating like drummer or full of adrenaline. It was calm, steady.

"Hey." She smiled back and suddenly all nervousness disappeared from the air. Peter felt special looking at her smiling like that, because in that moment, that smile was reserved only and just for him. She was smiling at him.

And just as fast it happened, fast it disappeared. Bambi's same smile just fell down and something unfamiliar crossed her brown eyes and they darkened like someone poured the void into them. She quickly tried to get herself on her feet but failed at first and struggled to untangle their skis. After couple of moments she managed to get herself free and went to the other ski that wasn't adjusted to her leg anymore. As she removed snow from it, not looking at Peter, the boy stood up confusedly, wondering if he did something wrong.

Bambi spaced out for a while, not talking and not smiling. She looked like she was on the verge of tears, but whatever it was, she obviously didn't want to tell Peter. Her eyes became distant, as if she was looking at something far, far away. A memory perhaps, and whatever it was, it seemed painful.

He decided not to ask any questions, and so didn't Ned, who saw the entire interaction but also saw sudden change of the girl's mood.

For the next entire afternoon the weird atmosphere was in the air. The girl obviously struggled a lot with skiing and falling, but not even once she looked at the boy that could help her. She minimised the physical interaction between her and the boy, and by minimised, it meant not touching anyone at all, even when she desperately needed help with balance. She fell more than usually, and at certain point just gave up.

They went back to others afterwards, both Ned and Bambi being exhausted. The dark skinned boy was whining how much his legs hurt and the brunette just agreed with him, not saying anything more. Gwen looked suspicious of the girl, but decided not to bother her too much.

"You guys up to the pool today when we come back?" Mary Jane asked the group when they were back ay the hotel and preparing to go back to rooms and probably take long lasting showers.

"Our hotel has pools?" Ned asked shockingly, but he was more surprised that the other group was inviting them to hang out.

"Yeah. We will go there around 8, so if ya want, come." The redhead explained before she flashed a friendly smile and waved at the boys, leaving with the rest of the girls.

"You guys should come." Harry added once when they were in their room, all three of them taking off ski jackets in pants, sweat dripping down their skin and awful smell filling the entire room, Peter scrunching his nose in disgust since the smell hit him harder than the other two boys. "You're pretty cool."

"We are?" Ned gaped at him.

"Yeah."

Ned shot a glance at Peter excitedly. Ned Leeds loved being accepted and having more friends, but he wasn't often accepted, so he sticked with the only person he knew wouldn't reject him; and that person was Peter.

At 8 p.m., the boys got ready and grabbed some towels out of the bathroom. Ned was beaming from excitement as he put on his slippers, making his friend smile. They went all the way down with elevator, Peter holding the towel close to his chest. He caught a glance of Harry's eyes travelling down his body, his eyebrows furrowed and blue eyes narrowed. He felt like he was burning under his gaze. It's wasn't judgemental, it was... curious.

"What?" He asked with eyes wide, looking down at his bare chest, but nothing out of ordinary was there.

"What?" The other boy repeated as he shook his head a little and met with other boy's eyes.

"Dude you're like, staring at my chest."

"Oh." Harry cleared his throat and looked away, awkwardly glancing around and trying to find something else to look at. "No homo man, you're just like... ripped."

Harry Osborn was a scrawny, pale guy. He was tall and really skinny and there was no much visible muscles that would give out he was working out or doing any sport. He also apparently had really good metabolism so no matter how much he ate, he didn't get fat.

"Um... thanks?" Peter scratched the back of his head, his fingers running through the messy brown hair.

"I mean, what are you doing to be like that? Cocaine?" The boy choked on his spit at that, coughing loudly with face red like tomato. The third shortest boy let out a loud laugh before the elevator stopped and opened its door for them. The trio walked out, Peter awkwardly trying not to cough again, Harry with still questioning look on his face as if he was still trying to figure out secrets of Peter Parker's work outs and Ned was laughing his head off.

Just as they were about to join the others, Peter announced he had to go the bathroom (because he had horrible fear of peeing in the pool and the water becoming dark blue like in that one movie Grown Ups), and on the way to there he ran into no other girl than Bambi Moody, fully dressed up in regular clothes with hair up in a messy bun, who was at the vending machine trying to buy some snacks, but it seemed like the snack got unfortunately stuck.

I gotta stop meeting her when I have to pee.

"You won't hang out with us at the pool?" He asked as he go closer to the girl, trying to cover his entire body with white fluffy towel he brought with himself. Not as if the girl didn't see him shirtless before snd literally commented 'where did you get those abs', but he still felt uncomfortable, specially since he was no where close to the pool and had to walk around the hotel in swimsuit.

"I'm on my period so... no." She answered with genuine smile and then looked back at her snack that got stuck.

Peter got surprised by her reply. Girls and women often didn't refer to menstruation and period as... menstruation and period but rather with 'I have a thing', 'girl problems', 'stuff'. It was a proof Bambi Moody didn't care about judging and saw no shame in normal biological, completely natural parts of living as a woman. She didn't give a shit, and that was the most powerful thing about being a woman. Not being ashamed of your body. Peter found it insanely attractive.

"Oh. You're on that monthly thingy."

"Monthly thingy?" The girl let out a howl of laughter, covering half of her face with her palm. "Yeah sure. Monthly thingy." She grinned and raised her hands to do quotes with her fingers. "Can you help me with this?" She pointed to the snack that got stuck. It was a bag of Haribo gummies.

"Yeah, sure." He shrugged his shoulders in response as he got to one side of he vending machine, and not even thinking about it, smashed his shoulder as hard as he could against the metal, and then, literally not even second after, regretting it badly as realisation washed over him. Before he managed to stop it, entire vending machine toppled to the other side, swinging right to left and left to right as if it was made out of jelly. Peter mentally facepalmed himself and pressed his lips tight together before quickly shooting a glance at the girl whose jaw dropped down and wore facial you-gotta-be-fucking-kidding-me expression on her face. "Uuughhhh—" Peter tried to find an excuse. "Woaahhh... this vending machine... is really... it's really— not heavy at all." He fumbled with words as he grabbed the back o his neck, rubbing it nervously. Way not to be obvious Peter.

The girl was looking at him with raised eyebrows, clearly not buying it. "Sure." Was all she said after slowly nodding once. "Thank you." She pulled out her gummy bears with crinkled nose and threw one last doubtful glance at Peter Parker before walking away .

He stood there, biting his bottom lip and watching her leave, and once when her figure was out of his sight, he groaned loudly and took a look at the machine he almost made smash to the ground. There were multiple snacks that also fell down from the shaking and the light in the machine was going on and off.

"Nice."
