Xavier's POV:

I was mad at the guys. I know I just got back, and they think that I'll leave them, but I really won't. I just wanted to spend time with my family and have a small break from everything. No boyfriends stuff. No gang stuff. No worrying about falling into a dark hole and getting stuck in my head.

If they weren't going to let me leave, then I'll just have to leave.

After I had went up to my room, I showered and packed a few things in a duffle-bag. I went to one of the guest rooms and put the bag in the closet, then went down once it was time for dinner. It was a quiet dinner, but I didn't really care. I didn't eat much, so I finished up and told the guys that I would be sleeping in one of the guest rooms for the night. I told them goodnight, then left.

Now I was laying in bed just waiting until I knew that everyone was dead sleep. I had locked the door and pulled out the one blunt that I had left from under the nightstand. I popped the window out and climbed onto the roof, but was surprised to find Reece laying down as he stared at the sky.

"What are you doing out here?" I watched him freeze, then he quickly turned to me and sat up. "I don't care if you're up here."

"Oh, ok, I just wanted to watch the stars and moon. Why are you up here?"

"To smoke." I pulled out the lighter and blunt, then lit the end.

"You smoke?" Reece furrowed his brows and I nodded.

I inhaled deeply and felt the familiar burn at the back of my throat. I blew the smoke out and coughed into my sleeve, chuckling when my eyes watered.

"Yes, I-I do, well, not in a long time." I took another long drag of it and coughed, holding it out for Reece. "Do you want to try?"

"I'm fine..." He shook his head, but continued to look at me. "Are you ok?"

I chuckled, "Of course not."

Reece looked away and I continued smoking. The cold breeze felt great, but the end of my blunt would go out, which kept annoying me. I put the end of the blunt out once I smoked half of it, then put it back into the small tube.

I laid down and sighed, staring at the sky. "Reece..."

He turned to me and I chuckled. "I'm going to leave for a bit. But then the guys are going to worry, then they're going to try and look for me. I just don't understand why they can't...like I can't even visit my own family. They're trying to keep control over me again..."

I groaned loudly and rolled over onto my stomach, feeling a small hand land on my back. "I just need a break from everything. Breathing. Living. Everything."

Reece didn't say anything, but he laid down next to me and scooted closer since it was getting colder. "I understand what you're saying, but we still have to keep trying, Xavier."

Turning my head to lay it on my arm, I stared at him with a small smile. "I like you. You're so nice and cool even after all that you've been through."

The smaller boy blushed lightly. "Thank you. You're pretty nice, too."

"Thanks." I pulled him closer, "I want good things to happen to you. I don't want bad things to happen to you anymore. You've had more than enough. You deserve good things to come your way."

Reece nodded, "I do too, but we can't control things. Whatever happens, happens."

"You're right." I closed my eyes for a while, then opened them and sat up. "Well, I have to go, Reece."

"You're going to sleep?" He asked and I shook my head.

"No, I'm going to my family's home. The guys don't want me to go and sort of aren't letting me go, but I'm still going. I just need a break, but I'll be back...soon." He nodded and I got up, looking back down at him. "Tell them that I love them and not to worry about me. I'll be staying at my family's home, so they'll know that I'm safe."

Reece got up and hugged me tightly. "I hope that you feel better after, Xavier."

"I hope so too, Reece." I placed my arms around his shoulders and kissed his head, gently rubbing his hair.

We pulled away after a few moments and I gave him one last smile, before heading back into the room. I fixed the window, then locked it and grabbed the duffle-bag. I grabbed the pill bottle that Dom had given me earlier to take. Opening the bottle, I walked to the bathroom and threw the pills out into the toilet, flushing them and turning the light off. I left the room and quietly closed the door, heading downstairs to the kitchen.

I looked around for my car keys and found them in a drawer. I walked to the front of the house and made sure to be as quiet as I could while opening and closing the door.

I finally sighed and got in my car, driving it to the gate, but having to stop.

"Capo Xavier? What are you doing out this late?" The nightshift gatekeeper, Silvio, asked.

"Oh, I'm just going to my family's home, Silvio. I just wanted to surprise them in the middle of the night." I chuckled awkwardly and smiled.

"Oh...ok, go ahead then." Silvio opened the gate and I thanked him, driving away.

I drove for about ten minutes, then pulled to the side, deciding to call someone that I haven't spoken to in a while. The phone rang a few times, before the line was picked up.

"Xavier?"

I smiled and checked the time. "It's not even one in the morning, Cam, were you actually sleeping?"

He chuckled, "No, I wasn't sleeping but-"

"Is that Xavier?!" I heard my other friend yell, hearing movement on the other side of the phone. "Xavier?!"

"Yes, Hunter?" I smiled to myself.

"You haven't talked to us in a while, meanie! I missed you, we all missed you here. When are you coming over?" His voice sounded deeper as well.

"Send me your guys' address and I'll come over right now."

"Yes! I'll send it to you right now." There was movement again and I heard a sigh come through.

"Are you actually coming over right now?"

"Yes, or do you not want me there?" I asked while looking throw my rear-view mirror.

"I actually really do want you to come, but what about your...boyfriends?"

"They're asleep, so I sneaked out." I received the message from Hunter. "I'll explain things when I get to your place. You'll understand what's happened the past month."

"Alright, see you soon."

I ended the call, then put the address in the GPS, starting the twenty minute drive to the apartment.

I asked one of the guys to come down, so Cameron did, letting me in with the code. I parked in a spot and I got out, immediately being pulled into a tight hug.

"Fuck...I missed you a lot, Xavier." Cameron whispered quietly and I smiled, placing my arms around his shoulders.

"I missed you too, Cam." I kissed his cheek, and he returned it.

We pulled away and I followed him up to his apartment, walking in and being tackled down by a larger body. "Xavier!"

I grunted when I landed on the floor and hugged Hunter. "Did you miss me, Hunter?"

"Of course I did! I could never not miss you." He moved off me and helped me up. "But why are you here? Your boyfriends don't like us."

I guiltily chuckled and rubbed my arm. "I sneaked out, but it's because I just needed a break from everyone."

"Are you going on a road trip again?! Can we come?!" He jumped, but I heard a loud groan come from one of the rooms.

"Hunter, shut...up!" I could hear the tiredness in Evan's voice and smiled to myself, walking into the hall and looking for whatever room he was staying in.

I stepped into the largest room, and saw Evan laying down with his back facing up. I walked to his side and placed my hand on his bare back, gently rubbing it and moving it up to grip his nape.

"Evan?"

"Mm..." He moaned and turned his head away.

Hunter walked into the room and jumped on the bed next to Evan. "Evan, Xavier is here!"

I could see his eyes open up a bit. "Where?"

"I'm right here..." I smiled and he looked up at me, smiling brightly as he rubbed his eye.

"I really missed you, Xavier..." His arms wrapped around me and he pulled me down next to him, laying his head over my chest. "Why are you here, though?"

I dug my fingers through his hair and massaged his scalp gently. "I wanted to come see you guys...but it's also because I need another refill."

Cameron walked into the room and sat on the edge of the bed as Evan looked up at me with furrowed brows.

"But...I thought your lovers didn't like you doing that?"

I nodded, then kissed his head. "Yeah, but I just need to get my mind off of things. In a bit, I'm going to my family's house to stay there for a few weeks, maybe."

Evan nodded and got off the bed, walking out of the room. I furrowed my brows and looked over at both Cameron and Hunter.

"Isn't this his room?"

Cameron blushed and shook his head. "It's my room."

"Oh..." I squinted and he nodded. "Oh! Well, I'm happy that you guys are getting to know each other...a lot better."

I smirked which made Cameron's blush get darker. I looked over at Hunter and raised my brow, and he nodded as well, grabbing Cameron.

"He's really good..."

"I should be telling you that!" Cameron huffed and I turned to look at Evan once he walked in.

He placed a wooden box on the bed, then opened it, revealing the inside to be filled by different products.

I was hit with the smell of marijuana and sighed, picking up one of the tubes that contained three pre-rolls. "Smells great, Evan."

"Yeah, you want one?"

I nodded, then looked in the box again. "I'll take...three."

"You're going to make me run out, Xavier..." He whined, but gave me the three tubes.

"Sorry, but I'll be needing these to relieve some stress these next few feels. How much?" He told me the amount and I just pulled out a random bill. "Here, just keep the change."

I gave him the one-hundred dollar bill, and he coughed. "Are you sure you don't want more? You can also come by another time, if you need anything else..."

I chuckled, but shrugged. "Maybe I'll come by another time, Evan."

He nodded, then closed the box, placing it on the nightstand and laying down next to me. "Did you only come for this?"

"No." I tucked the tubes into my pocket and sighed. "I came to visit you guys and talk about what has happened the past month."

Evan nodded and scooted closer to me, laying his head back down on my chest. "Tell us when you're ready, Xavier."

I nodded, then took a deep breath in and sighed, telling them about everything that happened from when the school went into lockdown, to coming home yesterday.

"They didn't want you to leave?" Hunter asked, and I shook my head.

"I didn't want to argue with them, so I just said that I would stay, then went up to my room. I obviously lied, since I'm here, but I do feel bad." I rubbed Evan's hair, then scoffed. "But at the same time, they shouldn't be keeping me locked up in the house. I understand that they want me to be where they can see how I'm doing, but it's my choice where I want to go. These are my problems that I have to deal with, and they don't always have to be dealt the same way, which is being trapped in the house."

I glared at the wall and groaned. "I feel bad for leaving, but at the same time, I don't. I told Reece where I was going and to tell them where I'm staying so they don't worry about me, and they shouldn't have to worry if they know that I'm safe and ok."

My three friends agreed, Cameron holding onto my hand. "Just do what you want to do, Xavier. As long as they know that you're fine, they shouldn't have a problem with you visiting your family for a while."

"Yeah," I nodded and sighed. "Like I understand why they want me to always be near them where they can see me, because of what happened last time between...the four of us, but they still shouldn't have to constantly be on me. I just want a short break, then we'll see how things go. I still love them, a lot, but I need to have my own space, too."

"Yeah." Hunter laid his head on my shoulder and I stared at the wall, playing with Cameron's fingers.

After a few minutes of silence, I checked my phone and sighed quietly. "I should go. I don't want to show up to my family's house too late."

The three nodded and I got off the bed, walking back out to the main room. They followed me there, so when I turned around, I was engulfed into a tight hug.

"You better come visit us again, Xavier." Evan shyly told me, which made me smile.

"I will, don't worry." I kissed his cheek, then did the same with Cameron and Hunter. "You guys better be good."

"Yes, Xavier..." Hunter rolled his eyes playfully, and I chuckled, opening the door.

"I'll see you guys...sometime soon." I stepped out and waved to my friends, heading down to the lot.

I got in my car, then drove to my parents house which took about twenty minutes. I parked in front and grabbed my bag, locking my car once I got out. I noticed that my dad's car was gone, so I knew that my parents were probably at work.

Quietly unlocking the front door, I stepped in and closed the door, heading up to my room. I stepped inside and turned the light on, my eyes widening when I saw Briar asleep in my bed.

He groaned and slowly opened his eyes. "Jace?"

"Um...no."

"Xavier?" He leaned up on his elbow and he blinked a few times. "Shouldn't you be at your house?"

"This is my house too, Briar, shouldn't you be at your own house?" I asked and he shrugged.

"Yeah..." He laid back down and rolled over, pulling the blanket up higher. "Sorry, but I'm going back to sleep..."

I dropped my bag on the floor and walked closer to my bed, ripping the sheets off of Briar. "Can't you sleep in the-oh my—!"

"Cover your eyes!"

I quickly did as I was told and turned away, snickering into my hand before laughing harder. "I can't...b-breathe!"

"What is happening-oh no—!"

"Cover your eyes!"

I watched Jace turn around and laughed, then gasped, turning to face Briar as I glared. "Why are you sleeping in my bed, naked?!"

"I can't find my boxers!" He blushed and took the sheets, wrapping them around his waist. He sighed and rubbed his face. "Can't you wait until I have boxers on?"

"No, I just want to know why you're in my bed naked." I crossed my arms and I watched Jace come into my view from the corner of my eye. "Why is he here?"

"J-Jace?" I heard a quiet voice come from the door and ran to it, stopping Andy from walking any further. She looked up at me and smiled. "Xavier? I didn't know you were coming here."

I smiled and picked her up, walking to her room. "I wanted to surprise you, Andy."

"Mm, well, this is a good surprise." I laid her down and kissed her head, tucking her back in. "How long will you be staying?"

"I'm not sure, but a good while." I smiled and she did the same. "For now, just go to sleep, maybe we can hangout tomorrow once you get back from school."

"Ok, goodnight, Xavier." She closed her eyes and my smile broadened.

"Sweet dreams, Andy."

I walked out and closed her door, walking back to my room and shutting the door so that Andy wouldn't hear us talking. I turned around and noticed that Briar finally had boxers on, but he was sitting on my bed.

"So...why are you here?" I raised a brow and Jace moved in front of me.

"Look, his parents are mad at him because...of something stupid he did, so he's staying here for a while." He looked back at Briar and his face flushed.

"Why doesn't he stay in the guest room where Kai used to sleep?"

"Andy and I may have made it into a gaming room..." My older brother trailed off and I just stared at him.

"Are you joking?"

"No." Jace pursed his lips and looked away.

I sighed, but shook my head. "Fine whatever, but why are you sleeping in my bed naked?!"

Briar chuckled an rubbed his neck. "I get hot at night..."

"Then don't cover yourself with the sheets. Or just sleep in your boxers and that's it, with no sheets!" I groaned and rubbed my face in frustration. "You know what...forget it. I don't care as long as you wash all of the sheets and pillow covers."

Briar nodded, then got up. "I'm going...to the bathroom."

He walked into the bathroom and closed the door. I felt hands move down to my waist and looked up at Jace as he gently pressed me against the door.

"What are you doing here?" He looked down at me and moved his hand up to cup my right cheek as he leaned closer. "I haven't seen you in so long, Xavier."

I nodded and placed my arms around his waist, pulling him closer. "I just wanted to visit you guys, that's all."

Jace shifted between my eyes and shook his head, stepping back when we heard the faucet turn on. "There's something wrong, Xavier, please tell me after."

I nodded, then looked away. The door opened and Briar walked out, sitting on the bed.

"Can we just talk about this tomorrow? I'm too tired for this."

Jace and I nodded, so we left the room. "I'll sleep on the couch."

My hand was grabbed and I was pulled into Jace's room. He closed the door and pushed me on the bed, sitting down next to me.

"What's wrong, Xavier?" Jace asked me with a gentle voice and I scrunched my brows together.

"Did the guys not tell you?"

"Tell me what?" Jace looked at me with confusion and my jaw dropped.

I scoffed and looked away, glaring at the floor. "I can't fucking believe it..."

"Xavier, what? They didn't tell us what?" He grabbed my hand and I shook my head.

"Like I said, I'll explain everything tomorrow, Jace." I was furious, but I hid it. "I missed you, though."

He looked at me warily once more, but nodded, pulling me onto his lap as he kissed up my neck. "I missed you too, Xavier..."

I smiled and cupped his jaw, leaning closer to kiss him. Our lips met and I easily relaxed into the kiss, my arms moving around his shoulders. My left hand moved up into his hair as the kiss continued, his tongue flicking out.

I moaned, but stopped when the door opened. "You forgot your-what the fuck..."
