"Xavier?"

I looked up and saw Mason, Tristan, and Kody together, looking at me. I gasped and smiled.

"Hey, guys." I turned to Cameron, Hunter, and Evan, pointing at the three guys in front of me, "Guys, these are my friends from school. They're pretty cool."

I looked at Hunter and laughed when I saw that he was going cross-eyed. We both started laughing and he stopped.

"Wait, I can't go back to normal. I'm stuck!" Cam smacked his forehead and Hunter flinched, closing his eyes. He reopened them and looked around, "Oh."

"Dumbass." Evan shook his head and rolled his eyes.

I turned to my three friends from school and smiled. "Is it me, or are you guys taller?"

I smiled, but blinked when my eyes felt like they were getting heavier. A hand landed on my shoulder and I looked up at Tristan.

"Xavier, are you high?"

I laughed and shook my head. "N-No...Cameron! I forgot my drink at the hotel!"

"You'll drink some more when we go back to the hotel, babe." I nodded and turned back around.

"What was your question, Kody?"

"I asked you the question, Xavier." Tristan said and I gasped.

"Oh, yeah. You asked if I was drunk? I mean...maybe a little, I don't know." I shrugged, but looked at Mason, "Wait, when did you get here, Mason?"

"I've been here this whole time." He looked behind me and then back to my eyes, "Who are they?"

I looked back and poked Cameron, Hunter, and Evan's foreheads. "These guys? They're friends. I met them at Las Vegas and they're super fun to hangout with. They sure know how to party."

"Yup, he's definitely high." Tristan sighed, "Drunk too, it seems."

I laughed, then covered my eyes. "Shh, don't tell on me. I'll see you guys...I don't know when, but bye!"

I started walking away, but my arm was grabbed. I looked up at Mason and saw the serious look on his face. I pouted and tapped his cheek.

"Let me go, Mason. I wanna hangout with my other friends." He didn't let me go, so I tried pulling my arm back, "Let go!"

"Hey, let go of Xavier." Cameron managed to loosen Mason's hands from around my arm and I pulled away.

I glared at Mason, "What, are you gonna take me back home? Are you gonna call Enzo so he can pick me up? Are you gonna call Dom so he can talk to me? Fucking do it, Mason. I don't fucking care."

I walked away and heard the others follow. I walked into store, going to a wall of hats.

"Xavier-"

"Evan, I don't want this high to be bad, ok?" I looked back at him and he nodded, so I kissed his cheek. I smiled and grabbed a pink cowboy hat, "I think this would be perfect for you, Hunter."

I placed it on his head and laughed when he groaned. "I hate pink, Xavier."

"I know, that's why I chose it for you." I grabbed a big, floral hat and put it on, "Guys, I think I'll go to a wedding in this. Probably not mine, but to a family's wedding."

"You're gonna go to a wedding in a bright-orange floral hat?" Cam asked and placed his hand on the rack behind him, knocking down the whole thing.

Hunter, Evan, and I couldn't help but laugh loudly as we heard footsteps approach us. Cameron turned bright red and stepped back, somehow managing to bump into a mannequin which toppled over. Hunter fell on the floor and laughed, rolling around on the floor.

After that, Hunter bumped into a table which had perfume bottles sitting on the top and that fell over since the legs were so thin. Glass fell on the opposite side of him and shattered as it hit the floor. Evan and I laughed and ran out, but we were stopped by security. I covered my mouth and snickered, looking down and pulling off the floral hat.

"I-I'm sorry..." Evan couldn't even say that in a serious voice which made me laugh, tears running down my face.

"Get your friends, and follow us."

I sobered up, from laughing, and turned around to call Cameron and Hunter who were too busy getting yelled at by the manager or whatever. They apologized and quickly walked toward us. We followed the two security men and walked to the entrance of the mall, walking out.

"If we see you guys come back today, we'll call the police. Now go away." The shortest one said and we nodded, running away laughing like little kids.

"That was so f-funny!" Evan cried and laughed.

"We weren't even here for fifteen minutes." Cameron held his stomach and gasped.

"I still have the hat o-on!" Hunter yelled and we laughed harder until we cried.

We calmed down after a while and walked around the parking lot as the sun went down, finishing the rest of the blunt. We had a second one, but we were saving it for later.

As we were walking, we heard a car come up so we moved out of the way, but they stopped next to us, their window rolling down.

"Xavier." I looked up and saw Eddie looking at me, his eyes flicking to my friends, "Get in the car."

"N-No, we're leaving." I grabbed Hunter's hand and pulled him away.

"Xavier," I stopped, "the boys are worrying."

I cleared my throat, "They shouldn't..."

I walked away, but froze, "Xavier, please-"

"Shut up, Dom!" I turned around and glared at him, shaking my head, "You should be mad at me. You should've left me a long time ago."

Tears filled my eyes, "Why didn't you leave?"

"Because I still love you and I know that you'll come back to us. We'll help-"

"No!" I looked up and grumbled, "I don't need your guys' help! Don't you see that I'm doing fine?!"

"Drinking and doing drugs isn't helping you, Xavier." Eddie looked at me worriedly, then glanced at my friends, "You guys should go home."

I shook my head, "They're staying because they've been here for me the last five months. They're my closest friends and I love them."

Seeing Eddie and Dom was definitely sobering me up. The high was wearing off even if I just finished smoking twenty minutes ago. The alcohol must've been gone by now so I felt my head thumping at the back of my skull.

"I'm not leaving them." I closed my eyes and walked backwards as I shook my head. I gasped when arms wrapped around me, "No, let me go!"

"Look at me, Xavier."

I opened my eyes and saw that it was Dom hugging me. I could see the tired, sad, and hurt look in his eyes and I finally broke. Tears ran down my cheeks like a waterfall as I cried out, banging my hands on Dom's chest.

"You should've l-left me! You and all the others! I deserve nothing from you guys..."

I crumpled up and gasped. My hands began to shake and I knew that I was on the verge of having an anxiety attack. I couldn't do anything to stop it, though. I was so overwhelmed from all different kinds of emotions.

None of this was supposed to go like this. Dom, Levi, and all the others should be gone and want nothing to do with me. I was supposed to end up dying alone because I'd never be able to love again after breaking my own heart, but I deserve it because of all the shit I put the guys through. They were supposed to live on with each other, not waiting back at home for me.

I felt pressure on my chest and gasped, placing my hand on my shirt. "Fuck..."

"Xavier, breathe slowly." I looked up at Cameron and nodded, doing what he said to do.

After a few minutes of slow breathing, I managed to calm down, but felt exhausted. My eyes were slowly beginning to close on their own, but I was picked up. I opened my eyes and saw Dom's dark-colored hair so I tried wriggling out of his arms, but he kept a tight hold on me.

"Relax, Xavier. Just go to sleep." He got in the car and I'm guessing the others got in since I heard multiple doors open, then close.

Dom rubbed my back, feeling his arms hold me tightly against him. I couldn't hold back anymore and finally fell asleep, knowing how unprepared I was going to be once I woke up.

__________

I groaned and snuggled deeper into the warmth, feeling lips land on my forehead. I shivered when another hand dug into my hair. I touched my head and groaned, barely realizing that my head was pounding.

"My head hurts..." I heard chuckling and opened my eyes, looking up at Cameron. I looked around the room and my heart dropped, "We're not in the hotel."

"Nope, but nice house, Xavier. Who knew you would own a mansion?" Hunter patted my cheek and I groaned.

"Shut up, Hunter." I sat up and was grateful that it wasn't too bright in the room because of the curtains, "What time is it?"

"Nine in the morning." Evan crawled up my legs and sat back, "We woke up half an hour ago, though."

I nodded and rubbed my eyes. "Please tell me that you still have that second blunt?"

"Why, are you trying to smoke already?" Evan smirked, but I nodded.

"I feel too tense and I need to relax before I have a panic attack or something." Evan nodded and reached over Hunter to grab something off the bedside table, handing the tube and lighter to me.

I thanked him as he moved off my lap and I got up, pulling my hoodie up. "Where are you going?"

"Outside. I'm not trying to burn the house down, Cameron." I bent down and put my shoes on.

"We literally smoked in the hotel room and it didn't burn down." Hunter said and I nodded.

"That was a hotel room, this is my house. I would rather have the hotel burn down than my house."

"Oh, look at you...wanting to burn things down." Evan laughed and I chuckled.

"Are you guys coming?" I asked before I opened the door.

They nodded and moved off the bed, quickly putting their shoes on. I took a deep breath in and let it out as I opened the door, immediately looking across to see that my room door was open. I kept my head down and led my friends down the stairs, not once looking up. I quickly went out through the front door and made sure that my friends were all out, then closed the door.

I sighed and pulled the pre-roll out of the tube, flicking the lighter on and lighting the end of the blunt. I took a long, deep inhale and grabbed the blunt from my lips, passing it to whoever wanted it next as I blew out. I walked down the front of the house and rounded the side, looking at the gate that blocked the backyard.

I took the blunt from Hunter and stuck it between my lips as I unlocked the gate with the code, pushing it open. I walked in and took a couple hits from the blunt, passing it back.

"See, I told you guys I know where we can go skinny-dipping!" I chuckled and walked closer to the pool, crouching down to touch the water, "It's cold."

"It's the middle of January, Xavier, of course it's gonna be cold." I heard Cameron say and looked up at him, standing up.

"I'm gonna get you, Cam!" I tackled him and we both groaned, me chuckling a few moments after, "Do you feel the water?"

"No..."

"Not yet because I haven't peed, Cameron!" I laughed as he pushed me off him and I landed on the ground next to him, "I was joking..."

I tried getting up, but fell back down. "I can't get up. Evan, help me!"

He walked over to me and pulled me up. I jumped and wrapped my legs around him, making Evan stumble, but he managed to stay up.

"Xavier, I'll drop you into the pool." He started walking toward the pool and I yelled, holding onto him tighter.

"Evan, no. I'm gonna catch hypothermia!"

He laughed and walked to the table, sitting down on the bench with me on his lap. I laid my head down on his shoulder and heard Cameron and Hunter join us. I laughed quietly and felt fingers poke my sides.

"N-No!"

"Stop screaming, Xavier..." Cameron shushed me and laid his head down.

"But E-Evan is t-tickling me!" I laughed and pushed his arms away, falling back on the grass. I groaned and heard Hunter and Evan laugh, making me whine, "Shh, you're gonna wake up Cameron!"

"But you're yelling!" Hunter yelled and I shook my head.

"No, I'm not!"

"Shut up!" Cameron yelled and I looked at him, laughing when I saw his right eye twitch.

"Cameron, your eye twitched."

"No, it didn't!"

"Yes, it did!" I gasped, "You didn't feel it? Oh, no, the weed is ruining your nervous system. How did you not feel it?"

Cameron just stared at me and laughed, making me laugh too. Evan helped me up and I moved next to Hunter, placing my arm over his shoulder. I took the blunt from him and stared at him until he turned to look at me.

"What?"

"Why does-" I snickered, "Why does your sister call you, 'Unty?'"

I heard Cameron and Evan snicker as Hunter grumbled. "She's been calling me that ever since she learned how to talk, but I don't know why she says Unty."

"Unty!" I yelled into his ear and laughed, blowing the smoke into the side of his face.

I heard the backdoor open and looked back, seeing that Dom and Rami were walking towards us. I groaned and took more quick hits, hoping that I would blackout and not remember this part of my day. I coughed and passed the burning pre-roll to Evan as I put my head down and closed my eyes.

I heard someone clear their throat, "Since when did you start smoking, Xavier?"

I recognized Rami's voice, but stayed silent, hoping that I blacked out at this exact moment, but nothing happened. I was still alert about everything, but not too much because of the weed that managed to calm my nerves down.

"A few weeks after I left." I sat up and looked at Cameron, smirking when I saw that he was trying not to laugh, "Shh...Cameron. Don't...l-laugh."

He coughed and shook his head, throwing his head back. "I-I can't."

Hunter and Evan laughed, and I covered my mouth, breathing out raggedly. I snorted and Hunter pushed my shoulder as he laughed. I fell off and yelled, wheezing as I cried and rolled on the floor.

"Xavier."

I looked up at Rami with tears in my eyes and chuckled. "What, you want a try?"

I got up and sighed, laying across the table. I put my head down and closed my eyes, sighing loudly. The backdoor opened again, but I kept my eyes closed, feeling like I was about to fall asleep any moment.

I think I dozed off for a bit, but I woke up when I felt a hand land on my back. Looking up, I saw Enzo looking down at me with a serious expression. I huffed and flipped over, sitting up and moving off the table.

"Is it time to talk now? I'm just trying to have a little bit of fun, right now, but it seems like that might not happen." I walked away, but my hand was grabbed.

Enzo grabbed my chin and scowled. "Are you fucking high right now? This early in the morning?"

"Yup." I pushed his hand away, "It's to help my nerves calm down, but it apparently isn't helping since you seem to be getting on them."

"Look at yourself, Xavier. Do you realize how much you've changed?" Enzo looked me up and down and I chuckled dryly.

"Do you think I like it? I didn't before, but now that smoking helps calm my nerves down, I enjoy it very much so. It helps me not get panic or anxiety attacks so that I don't need to be taking as much medication for it." I looked away.

"So drinking helps with that, too?" I looked at him and furrowed my brows. He nodded, "Yeah, Mason, Tristan, and Kody were the ones that told us where you were, and that you were high and drunk."

"Of course they did." I shook my head, "Well, I don't want to talk right now, so I think we should speak-"

"You don't want to talk right now? You're not in Las Vegas anymore, Xavier, you're not gonna push back the conversation that we need to have. You're here with us and we're gonna talk, plus, that weed should help calm your nerves, correct?" He raised his brow, but I didn't answer, "That's what I thought."

Enzo turned to Cameron, Hunter, and Evan who had been quiet this whole time. "You guys are staying out here while we talk with him."

Enzo walked in the house so Dom and Rami followed him in, closing the backdoor. I sighed and walked over to my three friends, taking the blunt from Evan and taking a few hits. I did long inhales and handed him the blunt back, walking to the house as I blew out.

I opened the door and chuckled. I stumbled in and closed the door, looking for a place to sit, but they were all full. Kai and Quincy looked at me with tears in their eyes and I looked away.

I pretty much avoided everyone else's eyes and sat down in the single couch chair. "What is this? An intervention?"

I laughed by myself and sighed, wiping my eyes. I looked around the room and gestured out to them all, looking around.

"Why did you run away?" Levi asked me and I sighed.
