"So are you gonna tell us why Mr. Hayes showed up at your house on Friday?" Kody asked once we were sitting under a tree during lunch.
After having the long meeting with Amir, Enzo and I got home back home late and crawled into bed after I gave Enzo's ass a massage with some soothing lotion. The weekend went by with nothing much to do other than lazing around the house and cuddling.
When we woke up today for school, we realized that we were late and rushed out of the house, showing up in the middle of first period which earned us a discreet scowl from Ollie. I tried keeping my head up during my first three classes, but I just couldn't help it and ended up falling asleep in second period for half of the class. I wasn't sure how Milo or I didn't get caught, but we weren't complaining.
Now, third period was a whole different situation, though. The teacher caught Milo sleeping and warned him once before he yelled at him the second time. Milo being Milo, couldn't give a single fuck and just pulled his hood over his head, then fell back to sleep. That just made the teacher more mad until he finally snapped and gave him lunch detention, then sent him out of class. But again, Milo didn't care since it was just for the day and walked out after giving me a sloppy kiss.
Once the bell to go to lunch rang, I met up with everyone else and now we were sitting under the tree, four of my lovers and I pulling our lunch out from our backpacks. It was just some leftover pasta that Dom made yesterday for dinner.
"Yes, I'll tell you guys." I nodded and lazily forked some pasta, then put it in my mouth.
Kai was currently sitting on my lap with his head against my chest so I fed him some of his portion and rubbed his thigh while Quincy sat next to me on Levi's lap. Enzo ate quietly to himself and opened up Quincy's apple-juice when he asked for it.
"When are you gonna tell us, then?" Mason asked me with a raised brow and almost seemed annoyed.
I wiped my mouth, "Why are you mad, Mason?"
"I'm not, I just want you to answer the question. I remember you even telling me that you were going to explain everything that goes on with you outside of school, last year."
"Yes, but I can't explain everything or else that will put you guys in danger if you ever talk about it out in public. A lot would happen if I were to tell you everything that I do, what's going on outside of school, and when I'm not at my parents house or my own, Mason." I explained, then kissed Kai's head.
"Why would it put us in danger?" Tristan asked this time after he finished chewing on his sandwich.
"Because you would know what we do." Enzo moved next to me, "I think Gio would probably have more of a fun time dealing with them than any of the others."
"'We?' What do you mean by that? Are all of you guys doing something? And who's Gio?" Kody asked.
"No, just Enzo and I. Gio is a friend of ours." I took another forkful of pasta into my mouth.
"I've never met him before and you never told me about a friend named Gio?" Mason asked and I gave him a look.
"Yeah, and I haven't told you a lot of stuff either because I have to keep them to myself. Anyway, to answer your question from before, Ollie's an old friend that I met while I was in eight grade and he was a senior. We're practically like brothers. He lives next door and we're close friends, but that's it." I explained to them and they nodded, not saying anything for the next few minutes.
"So how were you able to buy a big house again?"
I sighed at Tristan's question, "I work hard so I earn a lot of money."
"What job gives you that much money for you to be able to buy a mansion?" Kody asked.
"I'm not telling you guys anything about my work and what I do, alright?" I was honestly getting pretty annoyed, but I hid it.
"Do the new scars on your face and arm have anything to do with your job?" Mason asked and I looked up at him with a raised brow, although Enzo visibly tensed beside me.
"No, why would you ask that?"
"Because back in June when I came over to your house, your family looked sad and I asked them what was wrong. Your parents told me that you had an accident at work and got injured badly."
I shrugged, "I just got in a car accident while at work. I went unconscious for a bit."
"How long is a bit, Xavier? I know that it was a long time because your family was still upset until July started, but they didn't tell me anything other than that you were doing fine."
I looked at Enzo, noticing the distant look in his eyes. I grabbed his hand and gently squeezed it, brushing my thumb over his knuckles. It seemed like my lovers were more affected by the accident than I was and I hated that.
"I was in an accident at work which caused me to go into a coma for a month and a half. I didn't wake up until the middle of June." I fed Kai's last forkful of pasta and put his empty container away in his backpack.
I had lost my appetite so I put my container away and hugged Kai, his head resting on my shoulder. I heard Enzo put his own stuff away before he laid his head on my right shoulder. I'm guessing Levi did the same for Quincy and himself since he moved closer to me and grabbed my left hand, lacing our fingers together.
Our friends didn't say anything else and finished eating, putting their stuff away. "Sorry..."
I looked at Kody, "You don't need to apologize for anything. You didn't do anything wrong."
"I know, but we kept pressing you to answer our questions." Mason and Tristan agreed.
"Come on, guys. There's nothing to apologize for."
"We're still sorry, Xavier."
"Xavier!"
I looked up, then yelped when Milo landed on my lap, squishing Kai between us. My poor kitty groaned and tried pushing Milo off, but he was too busy kissing my face and whimpering happily.
"I missed you so much. I even missed you guys, too!" Milo placed a sloppy kiss on the boys' cheeks which made them blush. He turned to our friends and shrugged, "I sort of missed you guys."
We laughed and Kai finally pushed Milo off, saying that there was only enough room for one of them. I chuckled at Milo's expression and kissed my kitty's head, knowing that it was getting him jealous.
"Xavier, that's not fair..." He pouted.
I chuckled and pulled his body towards me, pecking his lips. Milo smiled and moved next to Enzo, laying his head on his lap. My puppy threaded his fingers through Milo's head which caused him to shiver.
"I can feel your dick rubbing my head, Enzo."
"Then move your head lower down."
"You should've worn jeans instead of sweatpants today." Milo looked up at him which made Enzo scoff.
"Why aren't you wearing jeans, then?"
"Because it's Monday and this was the first thing I could find."
Enzo nodded, "There you go, that's why I decided to wear sweatpants today."
"True." Milo closed his eyes, but then reopened them, "Imagine if you wore gray ones."
"Imagine if Xavier wore a pair..." Both Enzo and Milo turned to me, hearing Milo moan quietly.
"I would gladly let him fuck me in the middle of class." Milo licked his lips and I rolled my eyes playfully.
Tristan cleared his throat and I looked up, noticing the bright red blushes on his and Kody's face. Mason seemed calm and not bothered by what Milo said, so I guess he got used to the explicit sentences that came out of Milo's mouth.
"Xavier," I looked down at Quincy, "I have to go to the restroom."
I nodded and got up, placing Kai down where I was sitting. He quickly snuggled into Enzo's side as I helped Quincy up. Levi got up as well and slid his backpack on.
"You need to go, too?" I asked him and he nodded. I looked at the others, "We'll be back."
__________
It was finally Wednesday which meant that today was the big meeting for The Five Families. Manuel, Gio, Marco, and Eddie were all at their own warehouses, and had all of their Made Men together to explain what was going to happen once we got back to work, and future missions and such. They were also going to talk about the discovery of the two men that Amir had down in the cells.
"Xavier, Enzo, it's time." Ollie peeked his head inside of the meeting room.
"We'll be there in a few." Enzo told him and Ollie walked out. He turned to me and kissed my lips, his hands digging into my hair, "I don't wanna go, Master."
"Well, I do, so let's go."
Enzo huffed and I pulled him up. We walked to the elevator and stepped in, pressing the button to take us down to the ground floor. I gave my puppy one last kiss and pulled back as the doors slid open, stepping out.
"We are currently still questioning the two men, but it's not a surprise that they're refusing to talk. The other three younger men are still down there and only one of them is talking. He's opened up and told us all about Mauricio's plan to..."
Enzo and I stood a few feet away from the people in the back. Amir continued explaining everything else that he needed, then looked around. I gave Enzo one last hand squeeze and we began walking to the front.
All of a sudden, the crowd of Made Men cheered and clapped, the loud noises filling up the warehouse. I smiled at all of them and stepped next to Amir, Enzo standing between Alvaro and I. The cheering still continued even after a few minutes so Amir had to quiet them down.
"You all know that Xavier saved us the day that we won against Mauricio's gang. He willingly went with Mauricio so that we could leave unharmed. That clearly didn't happen which resulted in Xavier almost dying. We were able to rush him to the hospital in time and he was in a coma for almost two months. But now, he's back and we can't forget about Enzo."
The Made Men cheered again and I smiled, noticing that my own gang were up closer in the front. I smiled at Antonio, Alejandro, Charlie, and Walter, watching them clap as Alejandro whistled.
Amir had to calm the men down again so that I could talk. "Hey, guys. I don't know what to say, other than I'm really happy that I'm back. I'm really excited to go on missions with you guys and...I'm just grateful that nothing serious happened to me and that I'm here with you all so that we can continue to work hard."
"Like Amir said, I almost died protecting the five leaders, Enzo, and a few other people really close to me, but just know that I would do it all over again to protect any of you. As cheesy as it may sound, you guys are my second family and I'd do anything to protect you guys and keep you all safe. I'm glad that I was able to live because it would kind of be sad if I didn't." The men softly chuckled and I smiled.
"But yes. You guys can see me standing up here doing fine and I'm back to normal health. I'm here with you guys so I'm happy with that and things will all go back to normal." I turned to my puppy, "You want to say something?"
"Sure." He blushed a little, but turned to face the Made Men, "I'm also happy to be back here and standing in front of all of you. Things will obviously go back to normal and soon people will be in and out of the warehouse. And again, I'm also excited to go on missions with you guys if Amir let's us go, although he said he wouldn't after what happened to Xavier."
"Hold on, who said that?" Amir raised his brows and looked at Enzo.
"You did. You literally said that you wouldn't let us out on missions to keep us sa-"
"Anyway!" Amir abruptly cut Enzo off which made him huff.
The men laughed and Amir finished saying the last things he needed to say. Alvaro talked about how the last big group of men who joined the gang were obviously part of Mauricio's gang, so we had lost them. He explained that there were a small group of newbies who were going to be joining us on Monday next week. Alex and his team had done multiple, thorough background checks to make sure that the newbies were clean and they were.
Amir and Ali finished up the meeting and let everyone go, allowing them to hang around after for a bit. Enzo and I walked towards our friends and smiled.
Alejandro looked at us, "You guys surprisingly don't look like shit."
Enzo and I chuckled and gave the group of guys a quick friend handshake. "I did when I woke up from my coma."
"Xavier..." Enzo whined next to me.
"What? It's the truth. I looked like I was about to die. Well, I kind of was about to die, but I somehow managed to live." I shrugged and looked up, "So how was summer for you guys?"
We all got into the conversation about how we spent our summer. Alejandro, Charlie, and Walter spoke about how they went on a family trip with their families. With Antonio, Enzo and I already knew how he spent it so Antonio explained what he did while staying over in the guest house and about moving into his own apartment.
The topic of Alec, Jordy, and Noah came up which made me wonder if we could visit them. "You think if I asked Amir if we could visit downstairs, he'd let us?"
"No, we're not going down there, Xavier." Enzo firmly shook his head.
"Why not?"
"Because if I take a single look at Jordy or Noah, I'll kill them on the spot and I know that it would make Amir and Alvaro mad."
"Then you'll stay up here and the rest of us will go downstairs."
"Go downstairs where, Xavier?" I heard Alvaro behind me and chuckled awkwardly.
"He wants to go to the cells." Enzo crossed his arms and looked up at Alvaro.
"You're not going down there, Xavier."
I swiftly turned around, "Come on, Ali, I haven't been down there before and I just wanna look around. I'm not gonna do anything."
"You're not going, Xavier, and that's it." He walked away and I huffed.
"You heard what he said, Xavier." Enzo looked at me and followed his cousin, walking away.
I turned to face the others and smirked. "We'll have to sneak down there, then. I'm sure there's an exit outside."
"I saw a metal hatch outside in the back." Charlie said and I nodded, gesturing for him to lead the way.
We walked outside and greeted the guards, passing by them as if we were just talking and walking around. Charlie walked ahead and stopped once we reached the back of the warehouse, pointing at the three-by-three foot metal hatch in the floor.
"I'm not sure how we'll get in, though. It seems like we need a key to open it." He scratched his neck and turned to me.
"I knew these would come in handy someday."
Alejandro reached into his pocket and pulled out what looked to be a multi-tool pocket-knife. He flicked up one of the pieces and held up a thin, small piece of metal that looked curved at the tip. He crouched and started picking at the lock, wiggling it around and fidgeting with it.
"Why do you even carry that around?" Antonio asked him.
"In case of situations like this, I'll be able to open up a locked door...or even a locked hatch." He pulled up the hatch door and smiled, turning to face us as he put the pocket-knife away, "Ta-da!"
I chuckled and patted his back. "Good job, Alejandro. You deserve a medal."
"I know, right? I deserve a big award for all of the good things I've done."
"Like, killing people?" Antonio smirked, causing our friend to scoff.
"They died because they were bad people so..."
"It's this way."
We looked down, realizing that Charlie and Walter were already inside of the hatch. Alejandro hopped inside, then Antonio, and I was last. I looked around one last time and stepped down the stairs, following the others. The tunnel was probably ten-feet long before it opened up.
"Woah..." Alejandro breathed out beside me.
There were rows and rows of cells, some having small metal windows to peek out of, while others seemed to just be rooms built out of concrete and metal. I could hear hushed talking around the place.
"I did not think that it would be this big." Charlie said as he looked to the left, seeing more and more rows of cells.
"There's cameras." Walter looked at the ceiling, pointing out the very obvious camera that seemed to be watching us.
"My guess is that Amir, Alvaro, and Enzo are gonna be here in a few minutes, so we better hurry." I ran to the right and entered one of the rows, hearing for any movement in the cells.
"Who are you even looking for, Xavier?!" Alejandro yelled out.
"Alec. I want to talk to him!" I reached the end of the first row I went in, reaching a hall of even more cells, "Shit..."
I heard light tapping on my right and went that way, running through one of the more wider rows. I heard the tapping get louder and when I reached the end of the row again, I tried focusing on where the noise was coming from exactly. I grunted when the noise stopped, but heard feet shuffling around, snapping my neck to the left. I walked down the side, but stopped when I noticed a tall, hunched over form sitting on the bed in one of the prison-looking cells.
I quietly walked closer and looked at the white sign sitting on the door of the cell. "Alec Foster."
The person sat up and turned their head, looking at me. "Xavier?"
"Mhm," I moved to stand in front of his cell and he stood up, "What are you doing here, Alec?"
"I'm locked up, can't you tell?" He held his arms out and looked around his room, "Welcome to my lovely abode, I hope you like it."
I chuckled softly and looked around his cell. There was a metal bed attached to the wall with a mat sitting on top. Two thin blankets and a pillow were piled up on one side of the bed. A metal toilet and sink sat on the other side of the wall with a cup and toothbrush.
"It's cute."
Alec scoffed and sat back down on the bed. "What are you even doing here?"
"I just wanted to talk with you, ask you a few questions, but I don't think I'll be able to ask all of them since Amir will probably be here any minute." I looked up at the black camera in the ceiling.
"Everyone's been asking questions these days, so go ahead."
"Do you have any idea why we found two of Mauricio's men outside of the warehouse a few days ago?"
Alec sat up and turned to me. "What do I get in return?"
"What were you thinking?" I raised my brow, "More food?"
He nodded, "More food...and another mat because I feel like I'm still sleeping on metal."
"Ok, I'll try to persuade Amir to give you another mat, but I know that he'll give you more food." I nodded and looked at him, "So why did we find two more of Mauricio's men if we killed all of them that day?"
"He had another, much smaller warehouse with only about a hundred men. Mauricio made sure that they were prepared in case he died, but he knew he was going to-"
"Alec, keep talking and you'll die tonight!" I heard someone laugh deeply.
He stopped talking and shrugged. "You've said that the past few months, Noah. I'm still waiting for you to do it."
"We will once everyone is gone." I then heard Jordy's voice who sounded bored.
Alec rolled his eyes and stood up. "Anyway, Mauricio knew he was going to die so he left his si-"
"I told you not to come down here, Xavier." I turned to my left and found Alvaro standing in front of me with a glowering look on his face.
I watched Amir and Enzo come into view, looking behind Ali. Even Enzo looked mad which I did not like seeing on my puppy's face. Amir seemed annoyed and crossed his arms, giving me a stern look.
"I just came down here to ask Alec questions and-"
"It doesn't matter anyway, we're taking you home." Amir grabbed my hand, but stopped when there was banging and whistling a few cells down.
"Woo, Xavier boy is in trouble!" Jordy and Noah laughed again, continuing to bang on the metal bars.
"Come on, Xavier." Alvaro tried pulling me forward, but I pulled my hand out of his grasp.
"No."
"Huh? Say it louder, Xavier, I didn't quite catch it the first time." Amir scowled.
"I said no, Amir!" I moved closer to Alec's cell and looked at him, "He knows why-"
"Yes, and he already told us." Alvaro grabbed me and pushed me forward, but I fought back.
"Let go, Alvaro!"
"Woo! Woo! Woo!" There was more banging and whistling as Jordy and Noah laughed louder, sounding like they began throwing stuff around.
That combined with me fighting Alvaro's hold made me whimper, dropping to the floor as I held my head. I could feel my chest tighten and it felt as if weight was being pushed against my chest.
Scenes flashed in front of me from that horrible day three years ago. It was my fault that I let Alvaro and Felix get hurt in that explosion, but weren't they just here? I then saw Enzo, Kai, Quincy, and all the other's far away from me as the arm around me tightened. I heard a muffled voice above me, then a few seconds later, it went black. I whimpered quietly and felt arms wrap around me, pushing them away because I was too scared that it was going to add more weight to my chest.
"Stop..." I gripped the front of my shirt as I felt something wet run down my face, "Don't touch me!"
"Master?"
