"Surprise!"

I held in my growl and looked at Levi, his face holding all of his clear confusion.

"Terra...what are you doing...here?" He asked.

"What do you mean, I can't visit my ex?"

Levi shifted uncomfortably. "You drove two hours to get here?"

"Yeah, but it's alright. Nice house by the way." She stepped in and I stepped back. She looked at me and smiled.

"Hey, Enzo, it's good seeing you again. Are you guys roommates?" She asked with her annoying voice.

I couldn't help but growl, my hands turning to fists. "You can say that."

"If you don't mind me asking, why are you two living out here all alone in this big house?" Terra kept looking around and even started walking around too.

"We're not living by ourselves. We have other roommates that live here." She turned to us and raised her brows.

"Where are they? Are there any girls that live here, too?"

Levi shook his head and Terra visibly relaxed. "The guys are some place else right now."

My phone started ringing and I pulled my phone out. "You guys are outside, right?" Ollie gave me his answer and I ended the call. "They're here. We have to go, Levi."

Levi nodded and turned to Terra. "Uh, sorry to say this, but you're going to have to leave because we're visiting someone."

Terra pouted and walked closer to Levi. "Why? I just got here. I can come with you guys, because I'm not about to drive all the way home."

Levi looked at me and I clenched my jaw.

"Yay, I'm coming with you guys. Let's go!" She opened the door and walked out.

I looked back at Levi and gripped his collar. "You better find a way to get her to leave, Levi."

"I feel bad, though. She drove all the way out here to see...me." He looked down when he said that.

I sighed and walked out, seeing Terra talking to Felix who was standing outside, clearly confused. I heard the door shut and felt Levi move to my side. "I'm sorry, Enzo, but I'll try finding a way to get her to leave."

"Yeah-guys, who's this?" Felix asked and looked at us.

"She's my...ex." Levi replied and Felix gave him a stern look.

"I forgot to introduce myself, silly me." She smacked her forehead and laughed, "My name's Terra. What about yours?"

"Felix. Are you about to leave, or?" He asked her, giving Levi a quick glance.

"No, Levi and Enzo said I could come with them." She said with a big smile.

Felix looked at us and we both shook our heads. "Well, I hope you don't mind hospitals, then."

"Oh, we're visiting a hospital? Why is that?" She tilted her head and Felix looked at us again.

"It's for one of my best friends. He recently got in an accident and he had to be rushed to the ER." He explained and Terra frowned.

"Well, I hope whoever they are get better." She smiled softly and Felix nodded.

"Thanks." Felix opened the door and I saw Ollie sitting behind Alvaro. Alvaro and Ollie gave us a confused look when Terra went in next to Ollie.

"Hello, my name is Terra." They softly smiled at her and gave us a look.

"I'll go in the back." Ollie got out of the car and moved the seat forward, then put it back in place once he moved to the back.

Terra scooted down and Levi had no choice but to sit between us, because he knew that I was not going to sit next to her. I closed the door and Felix got in the front passenger seat. 

Alvaro drove off and looked at us through the rear-view mirror. "So, Terra, how do you know Levi and Enzo?"

"Levi is my ex. We use to date sophomore year."

Ollie coughed behind us and moved behind me, moving his head near my ear. "Why is she here?"

I shrugged and he spoke quietly again. "The others are not going to like her."

I nodded and he sat back.

Once we arrived at the hospital, we all got out and Terra hooked her arm with Levi's. I was about to grab her, but Alvaro pulled me back, gripping my nape which made me whimper.

"You can't attack her, Enzo." He said lowly and I growled, glaring at the back of her head.

"I know, but..." I looked up at him and he nodded, Felix and Ollie stepping beside him.

"We don't like her either and I'm a hundred percent positive that neither will the others. She gives off a bad vibe." Felix said and we nodded.

"Are you guys coming?!" Terra turned and asked with a big smile.

"Yeah, I just couldn't find my phone for a second." Ollie said and forced a smile.

We followed them in and everyone looked up once they heard us walking towards them. I'm guessing The Five arrived earlier since they were here as well. Kai and Quincy looked at Levi with a hurt expression when they saw Terra's arm hooked to his.

"Hi, my name is Terra." She gave all of them a smile and they returned it, knowing that it was all forced because of their surprise.

"I think we're gonna go get a drink." Levi said and gave me a look that said explain.

Once they were out of earshot, Kai looked up at me.

"Who is she? Levi's never talked about her before. Are they dating? He never told us he was dating someone else beside us." He had a sad look on his face and I kissed his forehead, wrapping my arm around Quincy when he hugged my side.

"That's his ex. She just showed up out of nowhere and we tried telling her that we had to go somewhere. She asked Levi if she could come along because she drove out here for two hours. We didn't say anything, so she took that as a yes and came with us. I don't like her, obviously." I glared at nobody and thought about repeatedly hitting Terra's face.

They all sighed. "Neither do we and we just met her."

I nodded and looked around the corner to see if Levi and Terra were coming back or not, before turning back to them. "I don't know why she's touching him. They're exes and I can tell that Levi is uncomfortable because of her. I swear I'll kill-"

"We're back." Levi said and I turned around.

"Great, uh, have the doctors said anything about Xavier?" I turned back around and Dom nodded.

"They said that the surgery went smoothly and that he would call us in a bit." He explained and we let out a sigh of relief.

"Who's Xavier?" We heard Terra's voice and Milo rolled his eyes.

"Our boyfriend." Rami said and Terra raised her brows in confusion.

"Wha-"

Someone cleared their throat and we looked up to see the doctor. "You guys can go in, but I only want four at a time. It would be best if the visits were quick so Xavier has more time to rest."

We nodded and the others said that we could go in. Kai and Quincy followed, then I heard another pair of feet follow. I looked back and noticed Levi, knowing that Terra was left with everyone else on her own.

We stepped in and I whined softly, seeing Xavier on the bed with the left side of his head shaved off and a patch of gauze taped to his scalp. I heard Levi and Kai whimper, seeing Quincy bite his bottom lip to stop it from trembling.

I walked to Xavier's left side and Quincy followed. I grabbed Xavier's hand and leaned down, kissing his knuckles and rubbing them with my fingers. Sighing, I kissed his cheek and let Quincy move closer.

He looked up and gently placed his arm over Xavier's stomach, gently hugging him and pulling back to kiss his hand. He moved next to me and grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers together.

I looked over at Levi and Kai, seeing them rub Xavier's hand. Levi kissed his cheek and Kai did the same.  They looked up and nodded, heading for the door as we followed them out.

Quincy tugged on my hand and I looked down. "Can you carry me?"

I smiled and picked him up, placing my hands under him and kissing his cheek. He laid his head down on my shoulder and wrapped his arms loosely around me.

We walked to the waiting area and everyone looked up, noticing that they kind of looked annoyed while Terra had an embarrassed smile.

"How does he look?" Milo asked and I smiled softly.

"He looks good, it's just sad to see him like that." They nodded and Dom, Benji, Rami, and Kian went up next.

I sighed and sat down, setting Quincy down on my lap and sitting back. I rubbed Quincy's back and felt him kiss my neck, feeling his nose press against my skin.

From the corner of my eye, I could see Terra staring and turned my head, watching her blush and look down.

"Sorry, I'm just curious as to why he's sitting on your lap. In freshman year, you never let anybody touch you guys, so I'm just curious to know why that has changed." She explained and I smiled to myself.

"We've changed a lot this year, but we like it." Levi nodded and looked at me, sending me a smile.

"How much have you guys changed?"

I heard Terra's voice and held back the urge to roll my eyes. I smirked when I thought about something and turned back to Terra and Levi, giving him a look and seeing him nod.

"First, I'm-or we're no longer straight. Isn't that right, Levi?" He blushed and nodded.

I looked at Terra and watched her smile drop, some emotion shining in her dark eyes. "Why not?"

I scoffed and faced forward. "Because we finally found our lover that actually loves us for the way we are. He's the kindest, caring, and loving boyfriend ever and we would never replace him for anybody else. Him coming along made other lovers come along as well and we love them equally"

Quincy sat back and smiled, kissing my chin while Kai leaned over and kissed my cheek. Kai grabbed Levi's hand and blushed when Levi looked down at him with a smile.

Terra stayed quiet until the guys came back, letting Alvaro, Felix, Ollie, and Milo next. They sat to the left of me and looked at us.

"What's his name?" Terra asked and I rolled my eyes, not looking at her.

"Why do you need to know?" Levi asked this time and Terra faced him.

"Because I want to know who my first love fell in love with." The guys and The Five laughed at that, quickly covering it with coughs and quiet snickers.

"You don't need to know, Terra." I said and she gave me a glare, making me laugh and look at The Five who sat across from us.

"Aw, man...I wish I could just take care of the problem, you know?" I asked sarcastically and they all nodded with smirks except for Eddie.

I looked at Gio and noticed that his eyes were darker. "Maybe you can fix something up later?"

"No, Gio. Enzo." Eddie shook his head and Gio huffed.

"Why not? It'll stop the problem?" Eddie gave him a firm shake of his head and sat back, letting Gio huff and whine to Marco.

Alvaro, Felix, Ollie, and Milo came back and sat down. Amir, Manuel, and Eddie got up while Gio and Marco stayed sitting because they didn't want to leave each other alone.

"Wait, where's Jace?" I had just realized that he wasn't here and Milo spoke up.

"He went to the cafeteria." I nodded and stood up with Quincy still in my arms.

"Well, I'm heading to the cafeteria, so..." I heard Kai follow me and felt him grab my hand.

We walked down the halls and soon heard multiple footsteps. I looked back and saw the guys following us.

Kai chuckled. "I'm guessing you guys don't want to be near her, either?"

They all nodded and Dom moved next to me. "What happened to Mauricio?"

"He obviously died. His head and left arm were completely gone since he had been holding the grenade with his left arm above his head. If I'm being honest, I don't know how Xavier managed to l-live." My voice shook at that last part.

"We've trained with grenades before and every single time the dummies would always blow up, even when the grenade was placed at a ten foot distance and height. That grenade was two feet above him, Dom, and he lived without hopefully life lasting problems. How the hell did he manage to do that? It's i-impossible." My whole body started to tremble and Benji took Quincy from me.

Dom pushed me to the wall as I began to hear my heart pound loudly in my head, feeling myself get lightheaded. I felt like something was pressing down on my chest and I tried to breathe.

"Hey, look at me, Enzo. Breathe in and out, ok?" He held my face between his hands and tilted my head up to look at him, "Breathe, Enzo."

I nodded and closed my eyes, breathing in and out like Dom said. I slowly felt myself calm down and opened my eyes, seeing him smile. He hugged me and kissed my head, his hands rubbing my back soothingly.

"Good job, Enzo." I whimpered and hugged him back, pulling away a few moments later.

We made it to the cafeteria and found Jace sitting alone at a table.

"Did the doctor say that we could see him now?" Jace asked and Rami nodded.

"Yeah, we've all gone already." Jace got up, but I stopped him.

"You're going to see a girl with Levi. I don't know why she came, and I really don't care." I said and Jace jutted his chin.

"Who is she?"

"She's Levi's ex. She said that she wanted to visit him, but I'm sure there's another reason why she came." I shrugged and he nodded. Jace left to go see Xavier, while the rest of us sat down and talked.

"Enzo?" I heard Quincy call me and I turned to him, "Can I get a drink?"

"Yeah. What kind do you want?" I picked him up and walked to the see-through fridges that the cafeteria had.

"I want," he hummed as he looked at the variety of drinks, "apple juice."

I chuckled and let him grab it from the top shelf, telling him to choose another drink for Kai. I walked over to the register and noticed a bored looking lady scan the items. She told me the amount and Quincy was about to reach into his pocket, but I stopped him and pulled out my card. I paid for it and told Quincy to hold the drinks as I walked back to the table with him in my arms.

"Enzo, I can pay for my own stuff..." He whined to me once I sat down with him in my lap.

"Yes, you can, but I wanted to buy it for you, ok?" He blushed and nodded, thanking me with a kiss to my cheek. He handed the other drink to Kai and he thanked me.

Half an hour later, Jace came back to the cafeteria looking annoyed.

"I do not like her." He said as he put his head down and groaned, "I swear I was going to knock her out any second."

"You should've." Benji said and huffed.

"It looked like Gio was going to explode any second and Marco was trying to calm him down. He had to step outside for like, ten minutes before coming back in and going somewhere else." Jace laughed, but groaned at the same time.

"What about Levi?" Kai asked.

He sat up. "Ha, you should've seen his face when she was trying to cuddle into his side because she was cold. She asked for his hoodie and he said no because then he was going to get cold. None of the other guys gave her their jackets either."

We laughed, then sighed. "I want her out."

"Hey, guys!" I heard the voice of the one thing that I was trying to get away from.

"I gotta pee. I'll be back." I placed Quincy on Kai's lap and saw their begging faces to bring them with me. I pretended like I didn't see it and walked out of the cafeteria, chuckling to myself as I heard her loud voice and the guys' annoyed sighs.

I walked around for a bit and decided to go to his room. I slowly opened the door and stepped in, closing it quietly and walking to his side. I pulled up a single couch chair and sat down, grabbing ahold of his hand.

"I wish it was me in your spot instead of you, Xavier. Levi, Kai, Quincy, and the guys all need you. Your best friends need you, too. They all need you to help them, Master. I do, too." I squeezed his hand and sighed.

"I know you don't need our help. You always find the solutions to your problems, and right now, I need a solution to one very problematic problem." I chuckled to no one and sat back, closing my eyes and squeezing Xavier's hand once more.

I was falling asleep when I felt something twitch in my hand. I opened my eyes and looked at his face, seeing his eyes start to move behind his eyelids.

My heart started racing as I squeezed his hand again, feeling him squeeze it back. I laughed to myself, then stopped, leaning forward and kissing his hand.

"I hope you wake up soon. I...we need you to be there for us and we'll be there for you, I promise." His eyes stopped moving and I sighed, "I love you, Xavier."

I sat back and got comfortable again, deciding to try and go back to sleep next to my master.

Later on, I was woken up by a hand on my shoulder softly shaking me. I quickly rubbed my eyes and looked up to see Amir looking at Xavier with a sad face, then down at me.

"The visiting hours will end in a few minutes. We're going home and Alvaro is taking you and the rest back home."

I nodded and got up, fixing the chair and moving next to Xavier's side. Leaning down, I kissed his forehead and firmly held his hand.

I'll see you tomorrow, Master. I love you.

Amir and I walked out after he gave him a kiss on the cheek. We met up with the others in the lobby and started heading in the cars after bidding a goodbye to each other.

I'm guessing earlier Felix and Ollie left to get another car since we were getting in two. Felix volunteered to take Levi, Terra, and Jace in the smaller car while the rest of us went in the bigger car.

Alvaro and Ollie were in the front as the driver and front passenger while Dom, Benji, Rami, and Kian sat in the middle. Then in the back, it was Kai, Quincy, Milo, and I. Kai was sitting in my lap this time and Quincy was sitting to my left with Milo on my right. I kissed Kai's head and laid my head on his shoulder.

"Are you tired, Enzo?" Milo asked.

"Yeah, it was a long day today..." I trailed off and closed my eyes.

Quincy scooted closer and laid his head on my arm, but I quickly wrapped my arm around him and placed my hand on his left thigh. He kissed my shoulder and settled down as Alvaro pulled out of the parking lot.

A very boring chapter. It's going to be like this for the next handful of chapters as well as POV switches.
