Today was the red moon, a special day for all werewolves. You had always been interested in magic, believing its power was for good and evil. You had always dreamt of being a dragon, wolf, or majestic creature. So today, you would see a red moon. A first-timer it's that. Your friends did want to go with you but weren't allowed to go out after midnight. Not that you were either. You just snuck out, not caring bout the consequences afterward.

You had to see the red moon today. It was the weekend anyway. So when the last bell rang, informing you that the day was over, you smiled and felt excitement rise in your chest. Packing your things, you took farewell with your friends and hurried home. Yori's parents weren't home at the moment and would probably come home tomorrow so that nothing could stop you.

Arriving at a sound clearing, you stopped and laid away your belongings but still close to your eyes. The clouds faded from the black stary sky as the moon made its way over the blanket of cosmos. You watched in awe as a black coral wolf came out of the forest's shadows. Immediately it noticed you. But instead of growling, it walked closer to you. Your eyes didn't leave it when the moon casts its rays over pale glint over the clearing, reflecting in the wolf's fur of black obsidian.

Now it was so close that you could feel its hot breath. Its pale yellow eyes scanned your form, then lifted its head to the moon, and a howl echoed into the night. Suddenly the rustle of leaves and paws came to your ears, and your eyes darted aorund to see a pack of wolves. Some black, some brown, and some even white. But the wolf who stood in front of you was the leader, clear as the moon. "Nin -iel," it said, and you widened your eyes, startled beyond imagination.

"What?" Yoo uttered. The wolf tilted its head, and the pack sat down, close enough to make a circle aorund you two. The wolf then nudged your hand, and a sudden bolt went through you. You yelped but didn't back away from the wolf. "My daughter," it said this time in English. You frowned. Its eyes were like yours, ocean blue. You didn't say anything but lifted your hand to stroke the canine. To your considerable confusion, the wolf didn't even run away. Instead, it leaned into your touch.

"Ebony," it said and opened its eyes, backing away from you. Soon you felt another pain hit you. And this time, you crawled up, covering in pain. The wolves aorund you whimpered and sniffed as the pain suddenly disappeared. You shakily lifted your head to see the wolf with blue eyes strung back at you. "My wolf daughter, my pup," it said and walked up to you and nuzzled your snout. Wait, snout?! The wolf saw your confusion and gestured for you to follow it. You did, feeling weird as you walked. Your senses were sharper, and you could hear the silent steps of the wolf and yourself.

Soon after a few minutes, you reached a clear crystal pond. "Look into the water," the obsidian wolf said. You walked over to the water and saw your reflection. It scared you. There was you, sure but indeed of a human being; you had the eyes of a dragon and the body of a wolf. You had become a wolf. You didn't say anything for a long time, letting the relationship sink in. You didn't know if you should be happy or sad. You were most comfortable. Finally, you had become the creature you wanted. You smiled, drawing your lips back, showing rows of white sharp razor teeth.

"You've returned home, my child," the wolf said beside you.

It had gone a few weeks since your first shift and finding out that you were a werewolf. Your human parents had come home that day, wondering where their precious son where for in their eyes and the eyes of many others, you were a boy. But when you came home that night after the moon had given you a blessing and your wolf mother that you were allowed to take the form of your true gender. A girl with black and long hair. Eyes of dragon and senses to a wolf.

You had been overjoyed to see your human parents and tell them bout your adventure. They were supporting in anything, making you love them even more. But you knew that you had a wolf father somewhere, but it didn't trouble you. He could show himself whenever he wanted; you had a good life. "So, how has this weekend been for ya?" Beli beamed at you as you smiled at her. Your friends had been surprised when they saw you a few days after, in a new form.

You were as tall as before and no less beautiful. Elias, on the other hand, didn't know what to feel. He had started to like your shy personality, the way your muscles moved as your body did the same. He had almost questioned his sexuality, but he's glad he didn't. For now, you were there, in the opposite gender. No suspicion should be raised.

But he still didn't have the guts to tell his feelings to you. He knew he had to before you got yourself a mate. Your wolf mother said you could choose between one like yourself, a werewolf or a human. Even tho you were immortal; you could still love a mortal. "It was fine," you said to beli as they and she walked through the halls of your shcool. You had told her bout your adventure, and luckily she accepted you.

The night came, and it was time to sleep. You curled up in your wolf form, feeling more comfortable in it. And soon, the realm of dreams consumed you.
