Mana slowly came too, to the feeling of Blue gently stroking his skull, as he often did.

"Are you purring.. that's so cute." Blue said, kissing his skull.

He purred? He thought that he had broken that habit, even before Malice took him.

"Such cute ears and tail too, I can't wait to hear how this happened, along with the child thing." Blue said, fondly.

Mana grunted, and he opened his eyes, with tears gathering in his eyes when he saw the monster that was pretty much his parent.

"Blue!" He cried happily, hugging his parent, happy that they were alive.

With how unhinged Malice was, he had feared that they had gone back here, and killed his family.

"Mana! You're talking!" Blue said, startled, but he hugged the new babybones tightly.

"Missed you..." He sniffled.

"You poor thing, let's get you something to eat, and you can tell me what happened." He replied.

"Opaque... come on Opaque, pay attention to me" A voice said teasingly.

"Ugh... go back to sleep Sloth." The voidling sneered.

"I brought snacks." The sin of Sloth said, dangling a bag of freshly made brownies.

It was quickly grabbed and devoured, and then, they ate the bag.

"What did you want?" Opaque grumbled annoyed, their neon black eye lights even showed that they were annoyed.

"I heard that you got a baby brother."

"Tsh..." The voidling hissed.

"What do you have planned for them, maybe you should give them to the boss?"

"What else, eat them, or give them to Desire to play with." Opaque giggled, smiling with all of their too sharp teeth.

"Should have known."

As Mana recovered with his family. It.. wasn't the same.

They lived in a new AU now, even if Malice was gone, things were not exactly stable in their Multiverse.

Dream and Nightmare were gone, Dead.

His fault, he blamed himself, as Dream had died without Malice being there to force him to stay alive, and that meant Nightmare passed away.

"No Mana, that's not your fault. Dream.. was freed from a horrible fate, you might not have known this, but Nightmare was in horrible pain, and he knew that he was dying.. he was tired." Blue told him, when the crying child finally told him.

Nightmare had passed away, surrounded by his friends and family, his boys staying by his side, and not budging, even after he dusted.

Yet still, Mana cried, what he had done to stop Malice was murder, and while he had gotten no levels, or experience, it was still done by him.
Blue gently rocked his now child sized, child to sleep, hoping that Mana would soon forgive himself.

"Fear."

Fear flinched, looking up from the Fake prisoner.

"Mara." He greeted, lowering his head.

"I gave you this place to prove yourself, but you have already lost half of yourself. Why do you obsess over the Light and Shadow Guardians? How will this lead to my jewel?!" Mara hissed, Fear flinched again as he heard something shatter from Mara's oppressive magic.

"The jewel may be in their realms, that only they can reach." Fear fibbed, trying his best to not to be killed. "Their power may even be enough to shatter the shields around the hidden timeline of their Multiverse... We could even turn that Supreme God into one of our slaves..." He continued to talk until Mara had left, and he shivered.

He would likely be not as lucky to escape unharmed the next time that Mara visited him.

Mana leaned against Error's side, as long as they didn't touch bone to bone, the other Monster didn't have adverse reactions to touch. He dozed off to the relaxing sound of the destroyer knitting, the klack klack sounded kind of nice.

He pretended not to notice when Error pet his ears, his cat features seemed to relax the Monster when they were out.

He purred, and curled closer, the urge to purr due to his feline instincts was too much, as he fell deeper into sleep.

"Is he asleep?" Blue asked, eyes warm as he took in his mate, and child, together.

"He's had a long day." Error said, showing Blue what he was making.

"Is that for Mana, it's beautiful!" Blue said, in pleasure.

"It's nothing, just a practice piece." Error lied.

"You silly glitch." Blue said fondly, and the other blushed.

The blue stone around Mana's neck softly glowed.
