ChapterNine-Feared   

September 21st, 2006

 Everything around him is dark and silent. He's unaware of what's going on. Panic from the others. He hears nothing, and sees nothing. He's unconscious. 

 As soon as Andrew was harshly knocked to the ground, the UTurn members grabbed him. The members that carried him were Justin, Alyson, Bailey, and Stacie. Even Trevor, who's not a member, helped. As for Amanda and Ethan, Ethan was strangely not there. Amanda ran off to her car, crying. The others took Andrew to Justin's car. Then Justin drove off to the hospital.

 During the short, but seemingly long drive, Alyson was brawling, trying to wake Andrew. He was breathing, but that was it. Once they arrived at the hospital, they grabbed several doctors. The doctors put Andrew on a stretcher, and wheeled to an emergency room.

 Alyson cried into Justin's shoulders. She didn't care that her makeup was smearing, or that everyone was watching. All she cared about was if Andrew will live.

 Bailey asked, "Alyson, was he breathing normal?"

 Alyson cried, "Yes, he was."

 "Then he's gonna live."

 "He will?"

 "I know it's been a long while since we've been in church, but why don't we pray for Andrew?"

 Alyson agreed. Even though Justin, Stacie, and Trevor weren't religious people, they agreed to pray also.

 At the same time, Amanda arrived at the UTurn house. She saw Riley and Marcus watching TV. They noticed she was crying.Riley asked, "Amanda, what's wrong?"

 Amanda cried, "Andrew was in a fight with one of the guys in school. The guy knocked him out completely, and I'm guessing he's been sent to the hospital."

 Riley and Marcus were shocked when they heard that. She asked, "What hospital is he in?"

 Amanda replied, "Probably the Massachusetts General Hospital." 

 Riley grabbed her purse and car keys. Marcus said to her, "I'll come with you."

 Riley asked, "Sure. Amanda, you coming?"

 Amanda said, "I'll catch up with you guys later."

 So now Amanda was alone. She went into the Justin/Andrew bedroom. She laid in Andrew's bed, crying into his hair gel-scented pillow, and hugging it. 

 She remembered the days when she dated him. They would always argue with each other. They hardly ever felt love from either one. She would always insult and belittle him. She would degrade him the most possible way. And yet, he would take it. Whenever he bought her little gifts, she would throw them away. He even told her that he loved her, but she disregarded it. Now she regrets hurting him. He was sweet to her, but she would treat him like garbage. Now he's with Alyson, who truly loves him deeply.

 As she was about to fall asleep, she heard a door open and close. She got up from Andrew's bed. She called out, "Who's there?"

 She saw Ethan enter the room. He asked her coldly, "What are you doing here?"

 "I was about to ask you that."

 "Why aren't you with that f*cking Hawthorne in the hospital?"

 Amanda then told him angrily, "F*ck off from Andrew! Don't you think he's been given enough shit as it is? He doesn't deserve it!"

 "I got Andrew to snap."

 She asked suspiciously, "What do you mean?"

 Ethan then gave an evil grin as he explained, "I got Greg and his football friends to not just bully Andrew, but to torture him."

 "What the f*ck!? Why'd you do that?"

 "I know Hawthorne. He's a hothead. He'll take in some crap as he can, but he'll lash out. Eventually."

 With that, Amanda kicked Ethan's 'junk', and left the room. Just as she was about to leave, Ethan grabbed her arm roughly. He told her sternly, "If you tell anyone what I told you, you're dead. Literally."

 Amanda escaped Ethan's grip, and went into her car. The words he told her was stuck in her mind. Is she willing to risk her life to save Andrew?

 It's a few hours later. All the UTurn members (excluding Ethan) were in the hospital, waiting to hear the news on Andrew. Amanda took Alyson aside to talk to her. She asked Amanda, "What is it?"

 Amanda replied, "I feel horrible about how I treated Andrew when I dated him. I see how happy he looks when he's with you. You truly care about him, and you show him you love him. He deserves you. He doesn't deserve me, not after I treated him like crap."

 Amanda hugged Alyson. Alyson was shocked by this, but she hugged her back. Then they pulled away. Alyson said to her, "That's the nicest thing any of his ex-girlfriends told me. He's really special. He's kind of like the guys I dated, but way better."

 Just then, a doctor approached UTurn. Alyson and Amanda went back to their group. He told them, "Andrew is fine. He suffered a small concussion, but nothing too serious. He should be released in a week."

 The members breathed sighs of relief. Alyson asked, "Is he awake?"

 "He did wake up, and he asked us what was going on. We told him, and we told him to stay awake for a few hours. You may visit him if you like. But only person at a time."

 Alyson decided to go visit Andrew. She saw him sitting up, watching TV, with a bandage around his head. He saw her enter his room. He noticed that she looked like she was crying. He turned off the TV. He asked her, "Alyson, were you crying?"

 Alyson then started crying, and then walked over to Andrew, and kissed him passionately for a minute. He kissed her back. Then she told him, "I thought I might lose you."

 Andrew said to her softly, "I'm fine, Aly. My head hurts, but I'll be okay."

 Alyson then laid next to Andrew. He moved over to give her room. She put her arms across his chest. He stroked her hair, and kissed her head. She calmly said to him, "I love you so much, Andrew."

 Andrew said, "I love you so much, too, Aly."

 Then they laid there in silence, until they both feel asleep in each other's arms.

 It's a few days later, and Andrew was recovered well. He now just has stitches behind his head. Still, he had stay in the hospital for a few more days. As for the other UTurn members, they all visited him after school. Amanda has apologized to him for treating him badly when they dating. Andrew was a bit slow to respond, but he accepted her apology.

 Alyson was entering his room when she saw his parents, his older brother Jeremy, and his little sister Hannah with Andrew. The siblings had similar features, which where blue eyes, fair complexion, and black hair.

 Alyson said, "Oh, sorry Andrew. I didn't know your family was visiting you. I'll just leave."

 Andrew said, "It's okay. You can stay. My parents are here just finishing things up for me, and my siblings are just visiting.

 Then Andrew signed some papers, and his parents left. They, along with Jeremy and Hannah, greeted Alyson warmly as they left. Alyson approached Andrew's bed. He was sitting up, and asked, "So, what brings you by?"

 Alyson said seductively, "I came to visit my wonderfully hot and sweet boyfriend."

 Andrew grew a huge grin on his face. Then she said in a normal tone, "And drop off your homework. I'm serious, some of your teachers are asses for givingn you homework. You had a head injury."

 "All the more reason to heal."

 "You seem happy. What happened with your family?"

 "Well, remember when I said that if I lose the fight, then no one in that school would be safe from me? And how I would always threaten to sue anyone if messes with me?"

 "Yeah..."

 Andrew then evil grin as he explained, "I'm going through with the lawsuit. I'm suing Greg for assault, the football and basketball players for slander, and the school for not doing anything to stop the bullying."

 Alyson was somewhat shocked, but she knew he would do this. Then she smiled, and kissed Andrew's lips passionately. She told him, "You're gonna win that lawsuit."

 Andrew said seductively, "You know I will."

 They continued making out heavily.
