Meanwhile,
Around the crime scene...
Monoma's POV
"Are you alright, Mio-chan?!" I ran toward Mio-chan after I defeated one of the villains who I never acknowledged their name. All I desired now was to go to Mio-chan and assure her everything would be fine now.
"P-Phantom Thief-san..." The young girl sobbed in sadness, tears dripped out of the corners of her violet eyes. I knelt down in front of Mio-chan and immediately hugged her. "It's okay now. Me... Deku... The heroes are here to rescue you!" I said some words of encouragement.
Mio-chan responded by embracing me tightly. I patted her small back in a gentle and kind way. She buried her face in the crook of my neck, snivelling softly.
Izuku, where did you disappear to? Please return to me!
You promised you wouldn't get me worried again...
"Hey guys! I found Midoriya!!!" Kirishima hollered to gain our attention. A gasp of astonishment slipped from my mouth. Mio-chan lifted her head up and stared at my face questionably. "Let's go." I nodded my head while smiling widely at her.
I held Mio-chan's hand and led her outside of this run-down base. We both were quite shocked to see the heroes surrounding Izuku who was sitting on the ground. From this distance, I could see devastation clouded her face for unknown reason.
"Izuku! / Deku-san!" Me and Mio-chan yelled in unison before we sprinted toward the crowd. When I got a closer view, Izuku's top was torn off, exposing her front upper half to everyone around.
"Izuku, what is wrong?! What happened to you?!"
Midoriya's POV
It... Is over...
Haru-kun is no longer...
I clenched my fist close to my chest, my teeth gritting shakily. I was too traumatized to reply to my friends' question.
Haru-kun... Haru-kun...
I'm sorry... I'm sorry for not saving you soon...
My gaze then fell on a mirror shard laying still on the ground. That must be the mirror that Haru-kun used to bring me to the mirror world. Picking it up carefully, I wrapped it with a handkerchief that I pulled out from my pocket.
"Izuku! /Deku-san!" Two different voices -- a man's and a girl's -- called for me in such a rushing tone.
Hesitantly, I lifted my head up, witnessing many worried gazes that were focused on me. "Neito... Everyone..." I croaked out, tears fell from my eyes once again.
"Izuku, what is wrong?! What happened?" Neito knelt down in front of me. I saw Mio-chan standing behind him. She was also crying...
"What... Happened... Here...?" I managed out in bewilderment, my eyes scanning the environment confusedly. "When you were about to ambush their hideout, you... Suddenly disappeared in front of us. Since we didn't want to mess up the original plan, we proceeded to fight the villains." Todoroki-kun explained the situation.
"Yeah, we could only conclude you were fighting with a much stronger villain." Kirishima-kun added, guilt evident on his face. "We are so sorry for living you all alone, Izuku-san." Momo apologized, so were the others.
I mustered a small smile for them. I shook my head. "Mm, it's fine, guys. What matter now is we all succeeded in arresting the villains back." I pumped up my fist energetically.
"Well, you are right... But..." Kaminari-kun looked down to the ground. "We missed the chance to capture their accomplice." Tokoyami-kun voiced out his disappointment.
I tensed up when they mentioned Haru-kun, though not frankly. They still didn't know the truth... Because I was the only one who knew.
I held the mirror shard in determination, my lips quivered in nervousness. "I-I defeated their accomplice. So no need to worry." I lied, hoping this would ease their worries.
Mio-chan let out a loud gasp of shock. "Who is this bastard who freed them?! They deserve more than a little beat up for messing with us heroes!" Kacchan growled in annoyance, punching his fist in his palm.
"Well... He..."
I gave them a stupid smile. "He kinda disappeared." I spelt out, smiling like a dork. My friends were disappointed to hear that news from me.
I noticed Mio-chan was staring at me in disbelief. "More importantly, we have to head back to police station!" I quickly changed the topic and my friends nodded their heads in agreement...

At the police station,
Interrogation room...
Third Person's POV
Heavy silence filled the tensed atmosphere in the room. None of them were bold enough to break the silence. But they knew they couldn't keep up like this.
"I'm sorry." Mio suddenly apologized, startling the pro hero sitting in front of her. "Mio-chan, everything that happened wasn't your fault. There is no need—"
"But I was to be blamed for my parents' d-death..." Mio's voice turned croaky at the thought of her dead parents. "Shigaraki... Is right... I'm only a monster who bring nothing but disaster and calamity into someone's life..." She covered her beautiful face with her palms.
"You know Shigaraki... Personally...?" Izuku spoke up, curious by her interesting statement. Mio's cries ceased out of the blue. She stared at the heroine's faces.
"It was... Rather a long story... I prefer not telling anyone, but I guess there is no need for me to hide the truth." Mio inhaled a deep breath to calm her heart down.
"I was actually an orphan and Quirkless, Deku-san. My biological parents were killed by villains." She revealed with heavy heart. Izuku quietly hummed, signifying she understood her story.
"I had a brother. After our parents' death, we had no place to go. Plus, the villains who killed our parents were after our lives' too."
"I was only four back then, but I remembered every single thing clearly. All we did were running away and hiding from our parents' killers."
"That was when, we encountered. Shigaraki and Kurogiri. They offered us a place for us to stay temporarily. We both were grateful and appreciated their kindness."
"But I kept having a bad feeling in my stomach, as if it was telling me to run away from that place. But... I had nowhere to run to. So I reluctantly stayed there with my brother."
"Days tuened into months, my brother grew attached to the villains. We got to know All For One... Shigaraki's master."
"After a while, we met All For One face-to-face. My brother foolishly swore his loyalty to him and decided to help that villain with his evil plan. I know... I was only a four-year-old girl, but I wasn't stupid. I wasn't like other kids."
"I was quite a genius for my age, so I understood their complex conversation very well. I tried to put a stop to his stupid action, but he defied me. And because I defied their order, I was taken by the doctor to be experimented."
"Because of my 'Quirkless' trait, he took a strange interest in me. Days after days, he made a scary, painful experiments on me just to satisfy his curiousity. And they achieved an outstanding result."
"What is... The result?" Izuku interrupted. Everything the teenage girl was saying was too much for her to handle.
"I managed to manifest a Quirk. It was... A shocking reality. I never... I never thought I would have a Quirk. Every since I learnt the fact I was Quirkless, I accepted this fate with my heart and soul."
"At first, I was overjoyed. But then, I realized this Quirk was deadly and dangerous. My Quirk... was similar to All For One. I could steal Quirk from others and give Quirks to others too."
Izuku couldn't hold back her excitement anymore. She breathed out a loud gasp of surprise.
"Turned out, the doctor had infused my blood with All For One's cells, causing my cells to evolve and then developed a similar Quirk to him."
" Because of that development, I was used as a tool to stock Quirks. I was forced to steal Quirks from innocent people."
"I couldn't bear the pain anymore. So I ran away from them. They tried to stop me with all their might. Including my brother."
"He wouldn't tolerate my betrayal and decided to teach me a lesson. But I used my All For One and accidentally gave him a Quirk out of fear."
"The "Mirror Teleportation" was the Quirk I gave to him. He was like me, a Quirkless boy."
"I never meant to give him a Quirk... Because those who received Quirks from me... Would mostly likely to lose their humanity and sentiment."
"I was so scared at that time, thinking that I had turned my brother into one of those lifeless puppet, so I ran away from him."
"After that... I met with the Rikita couple. They kindly took me in and adopted me as their legal foster daughter. I was in debt with them... They even sacrificed their life to save me..."
"When I was kidnapped by Kagami, I was too surprised that I almost cried. I wasn't misaken all this time...I thought he was dead..."
"But I was wrong... He was alived. He still had feelings. I was pretty much shocked when I saw him again for the first time... After so many years we were seperated... I... I couldn't believe it when I reunited with him."
"Kagami... Haruka Aozaki... My sidekick is your long-lost brother." Izuku looked down to the floor in sadness.
"Yeah... At first, I didn't recognize him. Because he looked so different. His appearance and personality... They had changed in those past few years. "
"No wonder he told me to take care of his sister... You are his sister..." Izuku began to shed tears, same as Mio. The two females hugged each other tightly.
"It's okay now, Mio-chan... I promise... I swear on my life... I will protect you, like your brother desire... So... " Izuku wiped off the tears rolling down Mio's face.
"So please... Smile again. For your brother's sake who wants to see you live. Smile for him. Live for him. Make him happy, by showing your happiness to him. And I will do my best to make you happy, for Haru's sake too." She smiled meaningfully at her.
"Deku...san..." Mio hugged her tightly. Izuku stroked her hair with gentleness, a small peaceful smile graced her face.
