I. COULDN'T. RELAX.

Being alone with Monoma-kun is VERY AWKWARD!!

The aura he is radiating especially... Is dangerous!

"Excuse me, waiter." Monoma-kun raised a hand, gesturing the well-dressed waiter to come over to our table. Wow, he looked quite stunning in that butler uniform of his.

All waiters and waitresses in here are so good-looking. No wonder this restaurant is famous.

"Yes, sir. Have you decided your order?" This friendly waiter bowed down politely, a friendly smile tugged on his handsome face. "Ah, yes. I want this and this..." Monoma-kun pointed on some pictures of the meals in the menu book while I just remained quiet, letting him decided everything.

Rich people's food are so weird and... mysterious. Don't they get stomach ache eating something weird?

"Very well. Your order will be done soon." The waiter bowed down for the last time before scurrying away from our table. Monoma-kun suddenly coughed, catching my attention.

"So, Midoriya." He started, his hands clasping while his elbow rested against the surface of the table. His chin rested on the back of his hand. "About yesterday..." I gulped down my saliva in nervousness, readying myself to get mocked by him.

I'm used to him talking big about his class during high school... So this won't be a big problem, right?

"I'm sorry." Monoma-kun uttered under his breath.

Eh?

Slowly, I lifted my head up, studying his face carefully. This was when a sudden realization hit me.

Monoma-kun... Is actually...

Handsome...

"H-huh? Why are you.... Apologizing?" I blurted out cluelessly, confused by his sudden apology. Monoma-kun scratched his cheek in awkwardness. "Well... I was too immature at that moment... That I couldn't think rationally and then scolded you..." He explained unsurely, averting his light blue irises from meeting with mine.

I was... Speechless.

For the first time in my life, I witnessed Monoma-kun apologizing. He willingly put his pride aside and came to ask for my forgiveness!

Is this man really Monoma-kun? Or an imposter?!

Wait,what if he is really an imposter?! Then I'm in danger!!

"Midoriya?" Monoma-kun called me out, waving his hand in front of my face. But I slapped his hand away, shocking him. "W-who are you? What do you want from me?" I asked in seriousness, glaring dagger at him though deep inside I was shaking like a newborn bunny!

I know. I know what you wanna say, Reader-chan. I'M A PRO HERO NOW. I HAVE TO GROW UP. WOMAN UP AND BECOME AN ADULT!

But that doesn't mean I have gotten rid of my fear on ghost!!

I was gripping Monoma-kun's wrist before my fingers slowly touched his palm. Strangely, it wasn't cold. His palm was so warm... And comforting.

Eh? Ghost's temperature is usually low...

So this guy is a real Monoma-kun! Thank goodness!

Monoma-kun mustered his famous mischievous smirk at me that confused me. "My, my... Aren't you being quite bold today, Midoriya? So daring to hold my hand in public..." His hand suddenly wrapped with mine, fingers intertwining together. My heart started melting upon seeing his charming smirk.

Now... Now I know why his fangirls always go crazy when they see him...

He is too dangerously charming for me to resist!

My heart began pounding loudly against my rib cage while the blood in my veins pumped up faster. "What is wrong, Midoriya?" He spoke up flirtatiously which caused my face to turn redder.

What is he schemeing? Why is he flirting? I'm confused! I thought he treated me to dinner as a token of apology!

"Oh, it seems like my charm is too irresistible for you, hmm? You finally show those symptoms..." Monoma-kun's voice grew huskier and at this point, I was a blushing mess.

"Um... Can you... Let go of my hand, please?" I politely demanded, timidly meeting his intense gaze. He tilted his head, smiling sweetly while his shiny baby blue eyes studied my expression.

"And why should I do that? Wasn't this... Much more comforting?" Monoma-kun narrowed his eyes at me. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. We both just stared at each for couple of minutes.

This moment... This feeling... Were a new experience for me...

Monoma's POV

I... I can't stop teasing her... Her reaction was too precious and cute.

Damn it, why now, heart? Why did you have to cause such problems to me?

Ugh! These feelings again!

The feeling that I tried to throw away far from my life before...!!

Are growing rapidly within me again!

...Izuku Midoriya...

Back when I was still in high school... I never thought I would have a crush on her. That feeling suddenly grew within me after the joint practice between my class, 1-B, and her class, 1-A.

Our teams had to battle against each other. And it was a fierce fight.

I didn't know how or why, but after that battle... I couldn't stop thinking of her. Every day, every second... She would appear in my mind.

I didn't realize I was in love with her until I asked Kendo regarding my problem. I was already in second year that time.

When Kendo told me that shocking fact, I immediately tried to erase that feeling. My naive 17-year-old self thought it was bothersome and annoying to have such feelings for someone, especially your rival.

I wasn't close to Midoriya or anything. But everytime I met her, that feeling... Those emotions.. Unexpectedly came again.

My heart would start beating so fast and my face would turn bright red when I saw her beautiful smile.

But I was stubborn to admit my feelings, so I defied it.

And then I managed to completely forget that bothersome feeling!

But now...

Now....

I can't defy these feelings anymore..

"Monoma...kun...?" Midoriya's voice broke me out of my thoughts. I hummed, waiting for her to speak up again. "Are you okay? You were spacing out just now..."

"I'm just thinking about the woman I love..." I answered frankly, a genuine smile tugged on my face. Midoriya's eyes suddenly grew wide. She pulled her hand away from my gentle hold.

"I-I see.." Midoriya looked away from me, sweat trickled down the side of her face. I was confused on her sudden change in mood.

Woman's mood is unexpected. Maybe she is having her monthly period right now..

"So, Midoriya... About Mio-chan's birthday party.. I'm coming with you." I said joyfully. After thinking thorough, I decided to go to that girl's birthday party.

Midoriya didn't answer me like she would always do. She just silently nodded her head while looking down to her laps.

Okay... Now she is acting a bit strange...

"Here is your order! Enjoy your meal, Mister, Miss!" The waiter, who appeared out of nowhere, greeted us cheerfully. He placed two plates of the food I ordered for us just now.

"Thanks for the food." I clamped my palms together and Midoriya did the same. We silently enjoyed our meal..

I wonder what is wrong with her? Did I say something... Offensive just now?
