The next day I woke up and got ready for school as usual, but there was an uneasy feeling killing me inside.

Maybe it's because of the test that Mr. Lee is gonna give today?

I took a deep sigh and smiled at myself in the mirror.

Everything is gonna be alright. It's just an audition and nothing else, right?

AFTER REACHING SCHOOL:

"I can't do it," I said looking down.

"What b-but why? You said that you will do it tomorrow right?" molly said looking me with shock written on her face.

"Yeah, I did. But I can't now." I said glancing at her.

"Come on now. Don't feel nervous or scared now. We are coming with you, right? Don't worry everything will be fine." Emily said with a comforting smile on her feature and patting my head.

"B-but-"

"No but's. You are going for an audition after school and that's it." Molly said cutting me off.

"Fine," I said feeling defeated.

"Now come on, let's go we have our chemistry class next," Molly said pulling me up from my seat.

We parted ways with Emily and went to our next class. The school went by in a blink of an eye and finally, the school ended, which I was wishing wouldn't come. But..... it did.

"So ready for your audition Miss next upcoming star?" molly asked.

I hesitantly nodded and replied, "I think so."

"Don't be scared Y/N, it's gonna be fine. You just have to go out there and do the thing you love the most." Emily said with such ease.

"I think it's going to be time. Let's board the bus before it leaves." Molly said dragging me with her and Emily following us behind.

We soon reached the location where the audition was taking place. There was a good amount of crowd near the entrance. There were many young people like me and even a few years smaller candidates for the audition. It was taking place in a hall that was booked by the talent community for the day. Seeing so many people who would mostly be 100 times better than I am scared the shit out of me.

"Nice crowd, now that we have seen it, let's go back-" just as I started walking towards the other direction, I felt a grab on my forearm and turned me around.

"We will be leaving, BUT only after you have given the audition," Molly said with a glare that if I stared a few more minutes I would be burned to ashes.

"Okay..." I said in a low voice being frightened if I said no as an answer she wouldn't leave me alive.

"Good, let's go." She said changing from a possessed witch to a sweet angel.

"How does she does that?" I asked in horror.

"God knows," Emily said and we went towards the entrance of the audition arena.

"Are you here for the audition?" a man asked who looked like a staff member there.

I bowed and nodded my head.

"Here, take your number. You would have to go only when your number is announced." He said and going to give other candidates their number.

We waited for my turn and after a long time the number before me was called she smiled at me and mouthed all the best to me and I mouthed the same words back to her.

Knowing that my turn is about to come, my palms started sweating excessively. What if I forget the song? What if I hesitate to even introduce myself in front of the judges? What if my voice cracks? What if they don't like my voice at all? What if—

"NUMBER 105 please come to the audition room!"

That's my number..........
