When I woke up I was in Theo and Matteo's arms snuggled in between them both. It was early in the morning even before classes so it had to be around 5am or so. I swiftly got out of bed and went towards the window seat that was in our shared dorm. I decided not to wake my mates as I got dressed for the day and headed for some food in the great hall. Along the way I caught his scent, he knew I had it was obvious he was leading me somewhere. So I followed it, and as I followed it I found myself standing beside him at the edge of the black lake.

"Hi dad" I said softly

"Hello my littlest wolf" he said and turned to face me as I did him

"Hope said you'd come, what is it you need?" I asked

"When Hope told me you had to leave the Salvatore boarding school I knew that it was important, it also appears you might have found your mate or mates" he smirked

I blushed a deep red at the acknowledgment of my two mates that were probably freaking out on my whereabouts.

"I did, they are kind to me, sweet and loving, and they treat me well like a queen" I said

"Trinity, for fucks sake don't leave like that" Matteo said

"Scared the fuck out of us" Theo said as they approached me and father

"Well boys it's nice to finally meet you" father said turning to face them

"Klaus Mikealson" Theo said softly

"Indeed" father said with a smirk

"Dad no need to intimidate them, I know your intentions are true but just don't" I giggled

"You've already mated I see" father said with a raised brow

I blushed a deeper shade of red causing Matteo and Theo to chuckle darkly.

"Yes we uh yeah" I said unable to form words

"Take care of my daughter or you'll face the consequences" father warned them and they nodded

"We'd never dare to even think of hurting her" Matteo said

"He's right, we'd be the last to ever lay hands on her or break her heart" Theo said

"Good, now can I speak with her alone for a minute" father said

They boy nodded and walked a decent amount away before stopping and chatting amongst themselves.

"What is it?" I asked softly

"Those people in Washington are worried about you, but this next break I'd like to see you in New Orleans to meet everyone" he said

"I can't, I Alaric finds me" I panicked

"No need to panic, as long as you don't remove that necklace hope gave you then you'll be fine and untraceable" he said

"What about Theo and Matty?" I asked

"They will most likely join you, you now that you've mated each other you won't be able to be apart for long" he said

"So they can come along then?" I asked with a hopeful smile

"Yes but no funny business" he warned

"Of course, but that's going to be hard" I giggled

"Trust me I know" he smiled but it didn't quite reach his eyes

"Can I ask you something?" I said nervously

"Yes littlest wolf" he said

"Do you have a mate?" I asked softly but knew he would hear me

I didn't want to upset him not knowing what might happen if I did.

"I did" he said sadly

That's why the smile didn't show behind his eyes, something happened to his mate, I can't imagine what that feels like. And I sure as hell don't want to find out any time soon because that I can't even think about what I'd do.

"Oh I'm sorry for asking" I said

"Don't be it was a long time ago, I outlived her and that was the bad part so I want you to be prepared that if you are a tribrid like Hope then dying is going to turn you" he said

"But then what about Matteo and Theodore?" Asked

"They can be turned but I rather you decide that with them, I wasn't turned when I knew Tatia she was stunning and it haunts me because she has descendants that look exactly like her" he said

"Oh that must really suck" I said unsure of what else to say

"It did, well does but I've found a second chance mate" he said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"The world might be against me for the longest of times because of what I am and our family is but when your creatures like us you get a chance to mate and if they die or reject which rejection is less likely but if either happens then out there a second chance is then created when they die or reject you, but you would have two second chance mates if they were to die or reject you" he said

"I can't bare the thought if they were to have rejected me, is it still possible even after we mated?" I asked

"Not really, well not that I am aware of at least" he said

I looked over my shoulder to see Matteo and Theo laughing with one another about something that I didn't pay attention to. I smiled widely at them then turned back towards Klaus.

"Love we should get to class breakfast is bound to be over by now" Matteo said as he and Theo came closer

"Yeah umm I can send a letter to you when I'm getting ready for break" I said

"Ok, I'll see you soon littlest wolf" he said and with that he left

"I see the resemblance a little" Theo said

"Yeah me too" Matteo said from the other side of me

I was sandwiched between them as we walked to class together, I couldn't help but smile. I thought about what my other family would be liked and I surly hopped they accept me. If they don't then I don't know what I'd do about it but it wouldn't be good for anyone I can tell you that.
