Prologue

To the two knuckleheads reading this;

I poured my heart and soul into this letter, so don't judge my dead body if it sounds like I'm a wise old man. It's going to be my last message, anyways.

I've been planning every aspect of my short-ended life since Wild Card told me I had two weeks left. Foliage, remember that? Before that, I was supposed to wait a bit and get back to the Washable Kingdom to send you- Foliage- off before I could revive Purple. Giving my life a timer to run on, however, changed that up a bit. Purple never knew about this because I didn't want him to. His life didn't have to be ruined so early.

I'll be honest with you when I say I did have the chance to save myself. Yes, I could've survived and probably be able to see the Server when it grows back to it's previously blossoming state. If I wanted to, at least. But I didn't want to. Life was already depressing as it was, and the only thing keeping me there was going to do was cause trouble, and I think we can all agree that we don't need any more mayhem in my life.

Foliage- don't go too wild with your vines. I'll leave it up to you whether you go back to the Washable Kingdom or not, but stay back long enough to help Purple get his life together. Get your own life back as well.

Purple- I don't see you as someone who would stress out too much, but my best advice is to stay in that happy medium of oblivious and knowledgeable. I'm not too worried about your mental health, seeing as how you are.

Stay alive for me, won't you? And don't try to bring me back, either. It'll do me better to stay like this, I promise.

Last thing: I'll miss you, that's for sure.

Signed,

Lilac

     Foliage was unable to believe what he was hearing, and Purple was simply in shock from what he was reading. The letter dropped from his hands, so shaky they were no longer able to support anything they were holding.

     "He fucking knew it," Foliage said quietly. "He fucking knew he was going to die."

     Purple moved to console Foliage a little, but before he could get there a twisted knot of vines burst out from beneath Foliage's feet, twisting into a spiral around Foliage and threatening to cocoon him from sight.

     "WHY?" Foliage suddenly yelled, vines going wayward and rapidly growing all over the room. "WHAT was so fucking bad that he had to END HIS OWN DAMN LIFE?"

     Foliage's vines, fed by anger, were now beginning to engulf the entire room the Dimension of Darkness was. Purple gingerly stepped around them, getting to Foliage and wincing as thorns pierced through his hands as he pushed the vines aside. Foliage's vine growth got weaker as he started to demote from pure anger into sadness. Vines all over the room started dying as his energy started to dissipate.

     Purple, unaware of what to do in a moment like this, put a hand on Foliage's shoulder.

     "Let's go back to the Server, Foliage. We can't exactly help anymore," Purple said with a downhearted tone.

     "We've only got so many people left, and the best thing to do is make the most out of it. Why not start now?"
