Chapter 11

And before long, two weeks rolled by. Dark was waking up from one of the worst nightmares yet-

And found himself back in the Dimension of Darkness.

He was in the jail cell bit of the notoriously familiar area. This time, however, there were no bars. Instead, Wild Card was standing in front of him, directly facing Dark with uncomfortable eye contact.

"I figured we could make this a fair fight," Wild Card said, voice ringing through the room and lingering in Dark's mind. "There's your chainsaw next to you. Let's see how long you last."

"I've got some help you wouldn't think I do," Dark responded, picking up his rusty chainsaw.

"I've been predicting this, you know."

Wild Card didn't even have time to respond, as he barely dodged the splat of ink that Dark sent. In return, he lobbed orbs of blinding green in a circle, and sent a line of yellow orbs immediately after Dark ducked. It wasn't possible to dodge, and a yellow orb managed to hit his shoulder.

A blinding agony escaped from the contact point, and as Dark collapsed to the floor, holding his shoulder and yelled in pain, Wild Card stood above him and smiled.

"Still think you'll be able to survive this?" he taunted.

Dark was barely able to get to his knees, but started up his chainsaw. Wild Card fired a blue orb, and Dark was somehow able to block it with the dangerously running weapon he was holding. Finally managing to stand up, he fired a series of ink splats, running long range, and surrounding Wild Card wherever he went with ink all over. Wild Card in return was firing orbs in colors of red, blue, yellow and green all over- not even bothering to aim, as the orbs all flew to Dark and he had to block them off with his chainsaw.

And yet, despite all of Dark's best efforts, he was getting weaker by the second. Wild Card's attacks, however, seemed to be getting stronger.

Dark hit a switch on his wristwatch, and a portal opened. Wild Card, however shaken by the technological advances his victim had made, took the chance and sent an orb- made of all four colors towards Dark's direction.

And as the ball of destructive energy rammed into Dark, Foliage and Purple came stumbling out of the portal as if they'd been waiting for it.

"FUCK!" Purple exclaimed first thing, gasping for breath while Foliage dusted the both of them off, swearing profusely. "The only thing you fucking leave the two of us is a note that says 'i'm at foliage dungeons'-"

And suddenly, they fell silent as Dark screamed- a scream composed of pure agony, resentment, and sadness all into one as he was hit with Wild Card's final blow.

"LILAC!" Purple yelled, running towards Dark. Purple, now realizing the depth of the situation, was on the verge of tears and almost didn't notice as Dark pulled an envelope out of his own pockets.

"LILAC, DON'T FUCKING TELL ME YOU KNEW THIS WPULD HAPPEN," Purple kept yelling, throwing the envelope aside. "IF YOU PLANNED YOUR OWN FUCKING DEATH AND KNEW AND NEVER TOLD ANY OF US-"

Purple didn't have enough time to keep yelling at Dark, bursting into tears as the last slivers of life faded out of Dark's eyes.

Foliage, standing behind them and shocked beyond sane actions, rounded up a twisted tangle of vines- each an every inch spiked with poisonous thorns. They didn't even move a muscle as the vine length grew towards Wild Card- and even though he was able to block some of the vines off, it was only a matter of seconds before the vines wrapped around his neck and body, strangling him and taking his soul out of his body. Foliage let Wild Card's body drop to the floor as he ran over to Purple.

Foliage was the one who picked up the letter.

Purple was the one who was brave enough to read it out loud.
