"booosss!" I turned around to see atena running at me at full speed. For a moment I was afraid she was going to knock me over!

"uhh what is it atena?" I asked nervously.

"apollo told me that you and Mr Edgeworth were once lovers"

"wha- apollo!" I glared at him.

"sorry sir. She forced it out of me" he sighed.

"you still love him don't you daddy" trucy said softly.

Their eyes were on me. I couldn't lie to them.

"yes I do but I lost my chance a long time ago" I turned away. Damnit! I hate feeling so weak in front of them.

"hey says who!" athea yelled "it's never to late. Love always prevails!"

"you're too nieve" I sighed "look I hurt him really bad. I can't go back now"

"then swallow your pride and apologise" athea insisted.

"just tell him what Kristoph did to you. I'm sure he'll understand" apollo muttered.

"it wasn't all Kristoph. I screwed up too" I grit my teeth "I don't deserve his forgiveness or his love!"

"boss I can hear your heart screaming out in pain. I can't stand to see you like this" atena said tearfully.

"neither can I" apollo folded his arms.

"daddy" trucy looked up at me sadly.

Their eyes were so concerned. I was hoping to keep these feelings bottled up but I can't hide anything from them. I can't make them worry like this. It's not fair!

"ok" I forced a big smile "I'll talk to him"
