And your delirious mind.

They reach at my hair

And tug from behind.

The miraculous chaos

Surrounds every word

The sweet sound of terror

My screams never heard

The whimsical Sound

Of the strings

On your heart

The cut of a knife

The sharp edge of the dark.

I hear the notes

Of your every breath

I sob the song

Of our imminent death.

The ending of life

The separation of noise

Our deadly duet.

Comes to a close.

Here I flicker

A note in your song

Your mellifluous mind.

A melodious dawn.
