Chapter Nineteen
Landon
"Honestly, Alisha. I expected more from you. Not a seducing bitch." My eyes looked one last time at her face, her depressed face. As I take my clothes and slip them on, heading back to the hotel swiftly. Hopefully, Eliza was there waiting for me. I wanted to give her a proper explanation, a actual reason. It was my fault although it seemed like it. Something was going on..... she wouldn't have come but, I'm glad she did. Stopped me from actually being traumatized.
Now, I know how she feels. It's a hard feeling, like a rock in the bottom of your stomach that keeps bothering you and no matter how hard to try to get it out, it stays. It would stay for a long time. There's nothing good about this place, I thought. There was honestly nothing, except for the big cities and buildings. Nothing. The door to the hotel room was sitting there as if watching me from a far, waiting for me. It was telling me something,
"she didn't come, didn't she." I mumble. Staring down at the floor as my hand shakily turned the rusting door knob. Nothing, no body, no where. But there sat the radio, with a note stuck on the table. It was just a note from Jason. It read nothing special just talking about the radio. Then, a letter sat next to it.
It took me a few seconds before I realized it was there. It was waiting to be opened, to be read, to be noticed. A letter from the Kings workers. That's totally what I like. But if Zenthilha didn't die then I have a lot to work for.
"Dear Mr. Hart,
We are happy to invite you to our party hosted especially for you and your fellow friends.
After your accomplishments of killing our former King Zenthilha.
Though he is still alive and walking we would like to celebrate you for what you've done so far.
We know you're having problems keeping your relationships but hopefully this party will help.
Your friends who are invited to the party include: Ling Huang, Jada Martin, George Barnes, Adalicia Francis, Georgia Francis and Ms. Elizabella Kwiatkowski.
Please dress formally as this event is formal.
Sincerely, Marco Darp, Head executive of the King."
Great, more problems. On the back it said that the party will take place tomorrow, starting at 6. Shit, Eliza is gonna be there.
Just saying her name in my head makes my heartbeat. It's only been about 45 minutes but the idea that....well, I'm not with her anymore is weird. How did I end up on this mess? I can't even feel how I did when I first met her, thought she was hostile and rude but there were reasons.
I helped her with those problems... until I screwed everything up, that is. I kept face palming my head, the idea just stuck with me. Even though I sound arrogant and stupid I do think about what I say after. I'm more of a just say what you're thinking person but..... when there's no one there to say these things then I keep them to myself.
Eliza was right, don't judge people from what they do or say because you can really get to know and appreciate them in the end. The pulsating from my heart beating sounds so much louder then normal. And the throbbing of his chest is paining and pinning me to the ground. I kept grabbing the middle of my shirt and pushing down. It'll go away somehow, and if it doesn't then I'll just have to deal with it.

The time I spent staring out of my window was crazy. A few minutes turned into a few hours and a few hours turned the day into night.
The thought just kept coming up again, was always bouncing back to the front of my mind even when I fell asleep for a few hours. The dark circles under my eyes were a bit darker then before. Insomnia.
There wasn't any clock under ground but I always wondered how Eliza could tell the time. How could she breath underwater? How could she do anything I can underwater? If she's a human, then how can she be just like me? I was lost at this point. Because of my thoughts retained to one subject. Eliza. Not because she was my first girlfriend and we were together for a day or so before we separated. But I'll be there. I'll be there at the party.
