Family: Her parents are deceased, Frisk is her cousin, her aunt is.. abusive to say the least.

How She Got To The Underground: After Frisk disappears Irene gives up hope seeing as Frisk was the only thing keeping her from committing suicide. She was bullied at school, as usual. Once she got home she went into the attic her and Frisk shared, locking it before her dreadful aunt got a chance to potentially 'punish' her. Packing up all her valuables, not want anyone to damage them after she was... gone, she jumped through their window which was facing her back yard/ the woods. After she got past the woods and climbed up the mountain she found a hole. To her it seemed tall enough to to kill her so she did what any suicidal teen would do, she jumped.

Personality: Despite Irene being one of the kindest people you could meet she does have backbone, she's very resourceful due to being neglected so often, she is very patient though she's isn't the most determined person you'll meet, is very good at masking her true emotions but is better at finding out others true emotions, and despite not being very tough on outside she is the toughest person you will find emotionally, but due to bottling up her emotions a lot when she unleashes them it could either be messy or just very sad, and she's also empathic.
