There was silence, I hugged and turnred to look at Jet, Wave and Storm, mouths open and eyes wide as they stared at me

{Jet's Pov}

What in the name of Chaos is happening?! Sonic is right here in front of me, he was dead 3 years ago!!!

I just stared at him wide eyed and my mouth open

" you look ridiculous " I said to him as I regained my senses

He rolled his eyes a scoffed, he opened his hand and a small...robot?! Landed in his hand, he then put it in his pocket

" what was that?!" Wave demanded

" one of my robots, I've hidden them in everyone's houses, even Shadow's house, it wasn't actually that hard to find " he answered and we all blinked, even Shadow looked taken back

" Nicole's right, you are a stalker " Chaos mumbled, wait he can talk?!

" what does she know? Frankly she drools over Omega " Sonic rolled his eyes

" fair point, but you are older than her, and that doesn't excuse the fact that your counterparts in other zones are also older than most people there too " Chaos stated

The two ended up getting into an argument, I just watched with Shadow, Wave and Storm, we were completely lost

" uhh...can someone explain to me what's happening?" I asked, Sonic seemed to pause what he was doing and turned to me

" I'm over four thousand years old, not to mention I'm a prince/king whatever, Amy is my brother's granddaughter, Knuckles is related to me also, but only by name really, I faked my death three years ago, I put small cameras in your houses/base to keep an eye on you all, I'm a guardian of an ancient yet powerful gem which is a prison for a god, which Eggman has found and has most likely set the god free, so the world, scratch that the dimension is in danger, anything else?" Sonic stated as he looked at us with a scold

I stared at him, I had absolutely no words to describe how I felt right now

" and the fact you had not only saved Maria, but cured her as well " Shadow stated, I blinked again, who's Maria?

" why did you fake your death?!" Wave stated

" he didn't have a choice, there was no longer a threat " Chaos stated

" but turns out Eggman also faked his death and now has the Obsidian Emerald and Obsidian the god of manipulation " Sonic groaned

" Obsidian? I thought he was just a myth, much like all the other gods " I stated everyone looked at me

" what?" I asked as I got confused

" how do you know that?" Sonic asked me, I rolled my eyes and walked to the safe hidden by a painting

" my parents were obsessed with the gods, I don't talk about it, because they died when they went on an exposition, I'm not entirely sure, but I never saw them again " I sighed as I pulled out a book covered in cloth

" they aren't dead Jet..." Sonic said, I looked up at him

" and how do you know?" I snapped at him

" their stuck in another zone, a warp ring had opened up and they ended up in no zone, it's illegal to zone hop nowadays, because Zonic, I mean warden Zonic has enforced the rule, because of an incident over a thousand years ago " Sonic said, I stared at him

" I can try to convince Z to change the law, but I'm just an exception because I'm, we're older than most others in the Chaos dimension " Sonic said with a slight smile, I nodded, I didn't entirely believe him, but it made me feel better...slightly

" well anyways, my dad left this for me...on my 8th birthday a few years before he and mum disappeared, I admit that I am interested in the gods too..." I said with a slight shrug

I unwrapped the book and opened near the centre, the title read 'Obsidian the god of manipulation' I then turned the book towards Sonic

" it says in here that three Demi Gods had sealed him away " I said as I pointed to the fourth paragraph

" that's not true...because me, my brother and sister took him down and trapped him in an obsidian Emerald " Sonic said as he skimmed over the chapter

" only a god/Demi god can take down another god/Demi god " I hummed

" but I'm not...if I was then my brother and sister would've been immortal too " Sonic frowned

" not necessarily, Demi gods can have a lot of power, but it doesn't mean their immortal at the same time, take Myra for instance, goddess of the mountains, she was a Demi god, yet she wasn't immortal, but her children were, because her husband was also a Demi god Phantom God of illusions " I said as I turned to the page this was written on

" and here I thought you knew nothing about this sort of stuff " Wave said and I rolled my eyes

" who were their children?" Sonic asked quietly

" Mephilies god of darkness, Iblis God of destruction and Malice God of knowledge, apparently there's a legend about Malice had gotten married to a mortal queen and had children " I said as I showed it to Sonic, who was quite

" what...else is there on the legend?" Shadow asked

" well it says that the god of knowledge had married the queen, they had three children, but they were a week old when Obsidian had killed Malice, and manipulated the queen into giving up Her children and then later on unite as the council of four, but the eldest was smarter and saw three the lies, they defeated the enemy that had been corrupted by Obsidian and imprisoned him for all eternity and then defeated the god their own way and sealed him away " I stated, I looked to Sonic and saw him looking down at the book tears in his eyes

" Mauri-" Chaos started but was cut off

" you knew...you knew and didn't say a damn thing!! Even if I had said no the same thing would've happened?!" He yelled at Chaos, who was quiet

" he told me not to tell you, I'm only a water spirit, the Solaris incident was when you met him, you just think it was a dream, but it wasn't, he asked his own brother to kill his eldest son, so that you tow could talk, your friends from this timeline held your fate in their hands when they revived you...Mephilies hated that he did that and Malice hates that he asked that before he died, but you have to understand that this is fates choice " Chaos sighed, everyone in the air ship was silent

" what else does the book say Jet?" Sonic asked me as he looked away from Chaos

" I can't read the rest, it's in a different language, I think it's the language of the gods or something " I said as I turned to the last part of the book, Sonic looked it over and somehow knew how to read it

" Cyrus, why do you have to be so damn clever " he chuckled to himself

" who?" I was now confused

" he was a close friend, we grew up fighting in the resistance together when Elroy Robotnik took over, the reason you can't read this Jet is because it's in a complicated code, we used to to give each other messages that no one else could read " he smiled down at the book, tears still falling

" well what does it say?" I asked now entruged

'Maurice if you get this message then you need to go back home as soon as you can, Manic isn't ageing like Sonia and people are starting to get suspicious, their demanding him for a trial...' Sonic read aloud, who's Maurice

'Sonic please if your reading this then you should know that Manic has been sentenced to death by the public and the other members of the council, his death is scheduled for today at sun set, he's in the dungeons with Sonia and Knuckles...by the time you get this it'll probably be too late...' Sonic had tears in his eyes

'Maurice I have no idea if your getting this message or not, but Manic isn't dead, when the executioner used the sword to decapitate him it didn't work, the blade shattered when it came in contact with his neck, I'm not sure if this is a miracle or not, but their deciding his punishment now' Sonic finished that paragraph and everyone was silent

' Maurice...he's in the dungeons, that's where he remains, I'm on my death bed as I'm writing this...he still looks 16 Sonia passed away two years ago, Knuckles is on the throne by himself and their child Marla is 24 and her coronation is in three days, she's beautiful, she looks just like her mother, her eyes are a bright indigo, she has your smile, like the one when we were kids, before we began to fight, I hope one day you get these letters, you are always with me, and I'm always with you, Manic needs you...you are a hero, a king, and so much more to these people, I hope one day you can return to the kingdom and save your brother...so this is goodbye I guess, I'll see you again one day, my king' tears were falling from everyone's eyes

" you shall be in my heart alway Cyrus, I could never forget you...I need to get to Mobitropiles...now " Sonic said in a tone I had never heard before...a kings voice

" but what abo-" Shadow started

" If my brother is still their then he can help, I know he can " Sonic said, like he was desperate enough to kill everyone in this room

" I'll drive " I said " and you can keep the book if you want " I smiled at him

" I can't, it's yours " he smiled right back

" but th-" I was cut off by him glaring at me

" let's not argue and just share it " he chuckled, I rolled my eyes and nodded

I then walked to the controls and started the engine, next stop mobitropiles!
