1st Place:

"Drugs" by kingakim100

Score: 98/100

Review: The rhetoric questions at the beginning, in the blurb, do a great job of pulling the person in. The cover is also beautifully done! The title is to the point and neat. I feel like even though it is apt, it is too simple to probably stand out and compliment your extraordinary writing which I will get to soon. I am in love with the plot. A drug like that ...sounds like a blend of magical realism. It flows beautifully. Jumps right into action and I could imagine it opening as a movie scene. The use of language is flawless. I don't have anything to say about it. It is beautiful, to say the least. Due to some reason, I enjoy the onomatopoeia that seems to be quite frequent especially in the prologue! I personally haven't heard of a plot like this one. Plus the way you present it is truly wonderful as well. Absolutely stunning descriptions. I loved how you added the date as well. You have a gift. Hone it. I would love to watch your story adapted into a movie. You set the tone wonderfully and the descriptions are astoundingly beautiful. Wonderfully done! In terms of characterisation, Samael has a certain intriguing quality about him and Domenic is very realistic with a backstory that the reader can sympathize with. I think the story explores drugs and the downward spiral with a new angle which is definitely commendable. As a last word, an absolutely astounding job. You have a wonderful way with words! All the very best for your future!

2nd Place:

"Soul Found" by millionthchoice

Score: 96/100

Review: Absolutely loved the blurb and the idea. It doesn't give off too much and manages to draw the reader in. As for the title, the two syllables have a ring to them. It is definitely creative and unique. I for one really love the plot. It flows smoothly through the story by describing the city and stuff while she is in the car and the conversation with the cab driver seems very natural as well. In terms of use of language, it was beautifully spaced and to my knowledge, I didn't find any issues. I haven't read this kind of story in the horror genre do I was intrigued by the plotline, even though science labs doing fishy stuff isn't exactly fresh, I liked your approach to it. The way you weave the story is also good! Loved the writing style. The way you described everything was very natural and helped the world to come alive. Not overwhelming either. I love love love the MC XD she's really not cliché and I love that they are both career-driven. She seems very natural and someone I would love to be friends with! I am a fan of the chase kinda thing so I enjoyed the build-up in the story. It's actually kinda sad what happened to Holly, but even so. Wonderfully executed.

3rd Place:

"BY A ROSE" by ChiddyE01

Score: 95/100

Review: Great book, beautifully written too. The plot is really good and the way you write it makes it more awesome. This book is really going to make you popular one day. Keep it up!

Runners-up:

4. "Little Green Stars" by barbaramay91

Score: 94.5/100

Review: I love the cover! Has a very ethereal vibe to it. The blurb is also really to the point. One thing I would suggest though is perhaps breaking it at the point- '...going a little crazy. She must be because only crazy people.' Because this line seems to be the Crux of the story. It's a personal style though so don't take my advice too seriously! Good job overall! The title is adorable and has kind of a witch vibe to it? Especially coupled with the cover, very Sabrina I must say! The story is very enjoyable to read! I can already see the conflicts between the sisters and their contrasting personalities. The story flows well and coherently. Grammar was mostly perfect. I might have noticed a few errors between " and ' but other than that, it was as great! As for originality, I've never heard or read a book with a similar theme so it's definitely fresh! The whole red hair and fiery personality also added to the mix XD I liked it! The style was perfect according to me. The description was thrown in between sprinkles instead of info dump. And yet it was rich in detail. Loved it! A solid 10/10 for characterisation. The descriptions in some places were hilarious and I found myself getting attracted to the MC in the 'I wanna be her friend please' kinda way. I haven't read it entirely but the plot originality tells me you have great ideas in mind! Good luck! Great job overall!

5. "The Eye" by CursedHobbit

Score: 94/100

Review: Very amazing experience, loved it. Nicely written with beautiful descriptions. Everything was so great in this book, a good job. All the best and keep it up.

6. "Death By Dawn" by AlreadyWritten1
Score: 93/100
Review: A really good story, I have never read a zombie apocalypse novel with this deep story and so full of action. It was really descriptive and beautifully written. I was a little not impressed with the title and cover but the story is very nice.

7. "ROAD" by rishabh_24

Score: 92/100

Review: Very good book. But chapters felt too short. The story was really twisting and interesting, and I loved the way you wrote it. Keep it up and add more descriptions in chapters. Like about the characters.

8. "StarBorn" by starpolaris
Score: 92/100
Review: Totally loved it, very creative. I don't understand the message from only 5 chapters that's why fewer points in that and also there were some typos here and there, so fewer points in that. Other than that it's an amazing story, very nicely written and very thrilling. You gain one fan today!

9. "Lynk's secret possessions" by LeslieThroneberry

Score: (91/100)

Review: The story is thrilling, twisted and good. You wrote nicely too, I spotted some rare typos here and there. The cover is not that attractive, try working on it, the blurb was awesome, you just need to polish the story a little and I'll be happy to give you full points after that. Keep it up, you can do much better.

10. "Vanity" by aeriaharp

Score: 90.5/100

Review: The cover, in my opinion, is perfect. I love the red on the black and the mirror which is the crux of the story. The blurb is also pretty neat! I think you don't need to write 'Ms Dey, Emerie's mom' you could simply write 'Emerie's mom'. Of course, this is not a fault, but just something that'll make it more compact! I love the vibe of the title. It represents the story perfectly and also reminds me of one of the seven sins. I'm guessing there is some deep history behind the mirror thing. There is something about your writing style that really really suits the genre. I loved the little sequence where Emerie is walking through the streets and you take that opportunity to describe everyone on the street. I found myself stuttering just a little at the super long paragraphs. It seems a little monotonous somehow and I think breaking it up a little would make it flow smoother! For horror, you effortlessly set the hook with the ominous environment that you set. I love the concept that you presented as well. As for your writing style, as I said above, I adore the way you set the mood for the horror. It was quite tense and exciting in a very subtle way. Reminds me of certain horror books I have read in fact. I would love to know more about Emerie and her mom. Although I can see that setting the tone, it can be tricky to just add in little hints about her personality but I honestly think it'll help to make her more 3 dimensional. The book follows the old trope of vanity and reflection. It's not exactly fresh but the way you set the tone, again, works. Great job!
