Review: The title and blurb intrigued me and the cover is very nice. The story almost seemed like the cliché CEO and assistant love story but the author has the skills to make the plot her own. I loved the characterisation of the protagonists. The feelings and personality of Meredith were very well described. The author's writing skills and descriptions are flawless, which made the reading smooth and created a flow in the plot. It was a very pleasant read!

'Closer To You' by kjobrien 

Score: 94/100

Review: It was a nice read! Well-constructed blurb and fitting title and cover. The story flows at a good pace, with an interesting plot. Both protagonists are intriguing, so good job on the characterisation. The author has a good writing style. Grammar mistakes were avoided. However, some punctuation errors have been spotted where it concerns the dialogues. Otherwise, the story has great potential. Will definitely read till the end!

2nd Place:

'When Tomorrow Dies' by dumplingbabe

Review: I... I don't know what to feel. I didn't think that one book could make me feel so many things at once, but you clearly did that. I literally have NO complaints about this book. All I'm saying is that you need to get in touch with a publisher because I need to have a physical copy of this book in my library, here at home. I laughed so hard while reading this! Honestly.... this book is so under-rated.

3rd Places:

'N.U.D.E' by Kittbella

Score: 91/100

Review: The book cover and blurb is amazing! The title is very unique. The plot is very original and creative. The characters have been described very clearly which is appreciable. The spellings of some of the words are incorrect but they don't disrupt the reading so they can be overlooked. If you proofread the book once more, you should be good to go. The flashback was my favourite part. Very well written.

'Peaceful Destruction' by iamacookie12

Review: It was a very nice read! The characterisation of the protagonists, Serena and Daniel, is great. The plot is intriguing, with a nice background story and flashbacks constantly provided. Grammar errors were rare and the author has good writing skills. With the plot unravelling at a smooth pace, I see that the story has great potential. All the best!
