Hello!

So, for one I owe you a major thank you for making it this far in the novel and sticking with me through all of the imperfections. However, I regretfully must tell you this novel is now suspended and will no longer receive updates here on Wattpad.

Is this the end of The Novice?:

No. Like the Shadow-born Trilogy, the Novice will be continued but in another medium. I am not yet sure if that will be as a comic or a film or what, but it is not the end of the novel. I will have more information about this in the future when I am aware of what is coming. 

What will happen to this novel?:

This novel will remain on Wattpad as a complete book. There will be no further updates or changes to the chapters beyond spelling and grammar edits. The book will be marked as complete following the completion of this chapter.

What if I want to see the whole story?:

The novel has yet to be complete. For now, what is posted will remain and I may come back through and release a summary of either the remaining chapters or the entire novel to provide some closure. Currently, the Shadow-born Trilogy is going to be my first focus and as his novel is the next most well developed, The Novice will most likely also be transitioned to a comic in the future. 

Only the future knows for sure!
