Social night.

The worst nights in the year.

Social nights were a must for everyone in Nile International. You miss social night, there's a high chance the hostel master (who I think is a wizard/demon. Like hello? Have you seen the way this dude just appear out of nowhere with a long whip?) Will come to find you and haul your sorry yansh to the event place.

It was divided into two, where juniors had theirs was different from where we the seniors had ours. And though it was suppose to consist of all healthy, innocent and educative fun and games, the so-called Ss3 students turned it to a sex party.

Like Jesus, no one can be innocent these days.

But here I was, with Empress by my side. I was wearing a baggy trousers and tank top while Empress was wearing a dress. I spotted Ade speaking with Alex- or to him. Alex was just looking around, lazily nodding his head at what Are was sputtering excitedly.

Against my own will, my eyes unconsciously looked for Senior Jewel but he was no where to be found. Same with senior Lotanna.

"What are we going to do again? Because all I'm seeing are voluptuous females lap dancing stupid boys" Empress grumbled.

I snorted and tried to contain my laughter.

"This is our welcome prayer" I replied dryly.

"Ehn? You mean this...madness is the welcome prayers? God save us, of this is the beginning what will be the main service?"

"Why not find out?"

A lanky boy came forward. I frowned when I recognized him

Excel.

"So guys, last time we gave awards to Ss3, why not do our own class today?" He said and grinned. A number of them agreed and I wished they didn't. The awards were stupid embarrassing things like...most thinnest, most curviest, biggest breast, smallest yansh and all that rubbish.

"Alright then so let's start with the most curviest, who do we give the award to?"

"DANIELLA!"

"Which Daniella? That worwor ashawo? Ogbeni give Rasheeda joor"

"Rest fam. Daniella for life mehn"

"That one wey look like oblong clay pot? Are you blind?"

I felt like laughing at the way some were roasting Daniella. I wasn't the only one amused, Empress was howling with laughter along with some Ss3 students.

"Okay you vote for Daniella say yayy!"

"YAYY!"

"Alright if not say nah"

"Nah!"

"Sorry but Daniella wins. So the most curvy girl in the whole of Ss2 is Daniella Okafor!"

Some people clapped as the stupid girl stood up and flashed her rotten, dirty and already decaying teeth (okay no, it wasn't that bad but I hate her so why not?)

"The straightest girl aka ruler of the set!"

Jesus, here comes the embarrassing part.

"I personally nominate Lisa Wande" he grinned

Everyone, okay almost everyone turned to me. Some were laughing and making fun of me. I felt my insides boil but I managed to calm myself down.

"Don't listen to him Lee" Empress whispered.

I stood up and locked gazes with him.

"See how she wore baggy trousers? I guess its to cover up the fact she has no flesh in the hips. Miss Ruler" he smirked. People roared at his joke but I waited for them to finish.

"Are you done displaying your foolishness? Or have you decided to be the clown of Ss2?" I shot back calmly with a smile on my face.

"Damnn, Omo this girl brutal oo"

"Like what in the hell?"

"Stop trying to form tough mama, we all know you have no curves" he retorted.

I laughed like a mad woman and clapped my hands.

"At least my curve less body is brighter than your future mehn. Whoever said there was light at the end of the tunnel did not think of you because after the tunnel, your future is as bleak as the world was before creation. Tufia!" I mocked spat. People burst into laughter and Excel was frowning and sweating by now but I wasn't done.

"But-"

"Hush darling. You know what? Let me make my own nomination. Why don't we all vote Excel as the most dumbest boy of the year? The greatest clown of Ss2. Hail thee Excel! Hail thee your royal dumminess!" I mock hailed. Most people were on the floor by now. Some Ss3 students were videoing the event while laughing at the same time.

"What kind of girl is this bayi?"

"Excel don chop mud, make he just go exile abeg"

"Excel has suffered mehn"

"This girl is soooo brutal!"

Excel couldn't say anything. Infact, he was shaking like a leaf being blown by the wind.

"Next time you mess with me, I'll make sure you hear it. Shey you don't want to leave me alone? Until I put pepper in your boxers and your small penis touch it, maybe that's when you'll hear word" I finished and sat down.

The laughter continued for ages until Excel awkwardly left the stage. Empress was laughing and crying at the same time.

"It's okay na, see the way you're laughing"

"Why should I not laugh? See the way you just murdered the poor boy" she laughed and wiped her tears.

We couldn't hold the sexual immorality of the event because of my roasting. Everyone laughed to their hostels. Some came to me and commended me for my confidence ( including some very hot Ss3 students) But I didn't see Jewel and Lotanna.

Not that I was looking for them, it's very normal to care about the people who saved you abi?

"Lisa could you go to hostel without me? I need to go get something from a senior. It was seized earlier and I was asked to collect it after Social night". Empress pleaded.

"Sha be fast oo, make The Wizard no catch you" I replied referring to the devilish house master.

After she left, I continued slow walking to my hostel.

Then a pair of soft hands covered my eyes.

"JESUS! IM TOO YOUNG TO DIE PLEASE!"

Whatever I said made my attacker burst into laughter and let go of me. I spun around and saw who had lunged at me.

It was Senior Jewel.
