034 | Escaping
Hi! So this will be different to my usual writing style as I'm trying to keep it close to the original fanfiction. If you haven't read it, go check it out as this is a continuation. Should be on my reading list, but if not search up MenaMeanie and look through her works to find it. Don't know why you'd read this without going there first, but I'm reminding you again because that's who I am. Enjoy!
-------------------
Later that night, the young trio of Slytherins met in the common room and waited for their friend. Blaise had recently argued with Ron, so he didn't think he'd be missed that much. Pansy had not informed Hermione about the plan, and wasn't going to. Draco wasn't worried about being missed, he wasn't in a relationship like his friends had been.
They had all agreed that black or navy were better colours to wear since it would be dark and they were sneaking around. Pansy was wearing black jeans that hugged her legs tightly with black ankle boots too, that had a heel because there was no way she would go out without looking good. Her shirt had no sleeves, lace detailing covered it though and it too, was black. She had put on a black leather jacket and light grey beanie because she didn't want to get cold, but she did still want to look stylish.
Blaise chose to dress a little more comfortably and still dressed in a way that made him look smart. He wore navy because he didn't actually have much black. But it was a hoodie of the navy colour with a blazer on top because he just couldn't help himself in dressing warm while still looking intelligent. He wore dark jeans that also hugged his legs tightly, and some converse because he wasn't going to be uncomfortable. (I know the jeans are light, but can you imagine for me?)
Draco wasn't as keen on looking good like the others, and dressed for practicality. He didn't think he looked like he was trying, but it was indisputably clear that he had tried at least a little bit. He wore a black turtle neck and black blazer similar to the clothes he wore in his sixth year. He too was wearing dark jeans, and they were also paired with black converse. (Definitely not an idea taken from the film's *cough cough*)
They waited in the dark common room completely unaware of the three pairs of eyes watching them very carefully. And they wouldn't know, because before they had the chance to notice a light Grey owl knocked on the window. It had a note in its beak and had been quite proud of delivering it. Pansy snatched the letter and read it aloud.
"Meet at Hogsmeade station," she recited, "make sure not to be seen. Theo"
"Guess we better get going then," Draco remarked.
"I'll miss this place," Blaise sighed.
"I still can't believe we're actually doing this..." Pansy said.
"You heard what happened to Daphne," Draco started, "do you really want that to happen to us?"
"But, aren't we safe at Hogwarts?"
"No Pansy," Blaise replied, "we won't be safe because they'll know where we are."
Pansy sighed, but nodded in agreement.
The three watching didn't understand what they were talking about, nor did they understand what happened to Daphne. Hermione began to worry at the mention of her girlfriend's ex, and Ron was still angry at the idea of them meeting Theodore. Harry wasn't worried in that sense, but they were running away from something ... hiding. And he didn't know why.
They trio of pure-bloods then left and ignored the snarky comments aimed at them by the Snape painting. The trio of Gryffindors took the invisibility cloak and followed with a curiousity they couldn't hide. Once they arrived at Hogsmeade station, they saw Theodore Nott waiting and a bit worried for some unknown reason. The Slytherins knew exactly why their friend was scared, but they didn't judge him for it.
Theodore was also wearing black. He wore a shirt with long sleeves and a trench coat on top to keep him warm. His jeans were dark in colour and a little worn out dew to being worn so much. He had men's Boots instead of converse like the other two guys, but still kept his sophisticated charm. He also had a beanie but instead of it being Gray like Pansy's it was navy.
(I know, lots of images, but that's what happened in the original so that's what's happening here.)
They talked in hushed voices from fear that someone might hear them and then disappearated from where they were stood. The golden trio were confused and didn't understand why they were leaving. Harry had figured out that they were running from something, but he didn't know what. Did it have something to do with Ron and Blaise arguing? In some way, yes. But there was more to the story then just running from problems such as cheating that didn't even occur. They were scared, but Harry just couldn't figure out what of.

Once the trio of Slytherins reached their destination they were met with Theodore Nott dressed in all black. They weren't used to seeing him like this, but they knew that they didn't really dress how they were at that moment either. Theodore was trembling and fear was marked on his face, but they understood how terrifying it must be to live a life on the run. Constantly relocating and tracking down others in danger must've taken a toll on him.
"We don't have much time," Theodore whispered, "I don't know much, but I think Millie is still alive and I want to warn her."
"We understand Theo," Pansy responded, "there are others in trouble too."
"I don't know how quickly our roommates wake up so we'd better hurry," Draco remarked.
"Where are we even going?" Blaise asked.
"Eyes and ears everywhere," Theodore commented making the other Slytherins huddle in closer.
"Well?"
"I can't say, you'll just have to trust me. I've given away my location before and it didn't end well."
"Understandable," Pansy replied. "How will we get there?"
"One of the few undetectable transports."
Theodore held out his arm signalling them to grab on. The familiar pull of appearating brought them to a small apartment they didn't recognise as something Theodore might live in. But their friend was on the run, he wouldn't stay somewhere big and bulky to attract attention. He was smarter than that. Theodore started to boil some water to make tea for his guests, but there was someone outside the window ... and they weren't a friend.

I know, different style of writing to what your used to from me, but I'm trying to keep it closer to the original. I know, this is slightly different to how I usually write and I don't usually add images, and I also usually do more italics but again, trying to keep it true to the original even if it's bothering me that it's not like the books I've read. Thank you!
