Chapter the Second

I see you're back again. I can show you hundred and thousands of What if scenarios and yet you want to go ahead with this one?
I suppose I can narrate young Neville's first year if you're so wanting.
Here we go.
We left of when the young ones were getting their Hogwarts Letter and now we go on on the trip to Diagon Alley
It had been a few weeks before Neville's trip to Diagon Alley and Neville doesn't know why it took so long(don't ask me anything, I'm not giving away anything)
When Neville finally reached Diagon Alley with his Gran, Augusta Longbottom. As they walked down the streets, freshly coming back from Gringotts, the wizarding bank which no one tries or has succeeded to steal from.
Their, he saw Augusta taking a pouch which didn't belong to them, but Neville ignored it and when they made it outside, Neville was given his Hogwarts Items List and strictly told not to loose it and buy everything before Augusta had to go for an errand, saying she'd be back way before Neville was done shopping.
When Augusta left, Neville cheered to himself and jumped up and down and nearly lost the list of Hogwarts items.
. . .
When Neville's Hogwarts list was safely tucked in in his pocket, he began going to one of the shops. As he was going, he bumped into a girl and they both fell down. The girl had dirty blonde hair which was a bit frizzly. A rubber band lay next to her, Neville thought that she had tied her hair in a bun so it wouldn't show as frizzly.
She had gray eyes which reminded him dark cloudy days on the beach. It was the best at those times, no one was around and Neville liked being alone sometimes. She had slight freckles on her face which were barely visible if you weren't close to her.
Neville blinked and then remembered his list. Quickly he searched his pockets to find it and then found it. He sighed with relief and got up, helping the girl stand up.
The girl looked at her, "You're Neville Longbottom!" She exclaimed. Neville sighed and nodded. "I didn't see your scare, just wanted to mention." She said. She had a vague dreamy voice and yet was down to earth as well.
Neville looked at her curiously, this girl was getting weirder and weirder. Neville smiled at her. "What's your name?" Neville asked the girl. Before the girl could respond, a boy shouted his name.
Neville turned around to see Ron Weasley waving at him and gesturing Neville to come inside. Neville looked at the blonde girl who was making her hair into a bun . "Sorry, I have to..." Neville began and waved goodbye at the girl. The girl smiled and watched Neville walk away.
Before going inside the shop Neville looked back to see the girl sighing, then shrugging and jumping away happily. Who was this mysterious girl? Neville thought as he looked away and went inside the shop.
The shop was a book store which Neville soon realized was Flourish and Botts. Suddenly it became clear to him.
"Thanks mate." Ron said, "You can take care of my sister right?"
Neville raised an eyebrow. "What if I say no?" He asked.
"Thanks for the approval." Ron said, giving Neville a thumbs up and went outside the book store
Neville sighed, well, he could start here, by starting to find Ron's little sister, whatever her name was.
It took Neville long to find the red head girl reading a book. Considering her red hair was very bright, Neville was surprised that it took him this long to find her. Neville went up to her.
When he reached her, Neville hesitated. Even though she's suppose to be younger than him, Neville was feeling very nervous for some reason.
The little girl seem to have an air of authorities around her and no one would dare raise a finger against her. Neville gulped.
"Hi." Neville said awkwardly. The red head looked up and the squeaked, throwing the book she was reading and putting her hand on her franticly racing heart.
"You scared me." She panted, "Boy Who Lived."
Neville sighed. "Yep, I'm the Boy Who Lived." Neville pursed his lips, this girl seemed like she'd have a crush on the Boy Who Lived.
"Well I don't have a crush on you, if that's what you're wondering." She replied rolling her eyes and muttering, "People these days."
Neville chuckled and the girl grinned.
"I'm Ginny, Ginny Weasley." The girl said, extending her hand. Neville shook it. "Neville, Neville Longbottom."
When they were done shaking their hand, Ginny asked a very important question. "Is this Hermione Granger dating Ron Weasley?"
"Well," Neville chuckled, "According to the Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff common rooms, the answer is no." Neville frowned. "They would be good though. The Fred and George have been rallying the Griffs to join an important cause called 'My Brother's Girlfriend''
Ginny chuckled. "That sure sound like the twins."
Neville smiled. "Your twins are crazy you know."
"That's what my mum says always."
I won't get in much deep into the conversation because it's all together boring and by the time it ends, you'd be asleep on your device. So I'll just fast foreword to the time Ginny and Neville leave the shop, with all of their books.
"Wow!" A male voice said and Neville knew who it was. "Harry." Neville muttered and another female voice said , "HARRY!" only louder. "Hermione." Neville muttered and a third voice said, "HERMIONE!" only louder. "Ron." Neville muttered, think he should stop saying their name. "RON!" said the first male voice.
Neville turned his head to look at the trio. Hermione's hair was was very bushy as always, Harry's hair was very messy as always and Ron's hair was the same, as always. All Ron and Hermione looked at Harry.
"What?" Harry shrugged, "I thought we were saying each other's names. Also your sister is hot Ron"
"So that's Harry Potter." Ginny whispered to Neville, pointing at the raven haired messy haired boy and Neville felt like Ginny was mesmerized at the sight of him. "He seems stupid." Ginny replied taking a breath in and out.
"Oi!" Ron exclaimed angrily and it took Ginny a Harry looked up. It took a minute register what Harry had just said. Automatically her checks became scarlet.
"What did you just say!?" Ginny exclaimed, putting her hands on her hips. "Looks like you noticed me My Lady. Ginny rolled her eyes.
"Ron, I'm going to go to mum and dad, you coming?" Ginny said. Ron sighed, I might as well drop you but after that, I'm not going to take care of you ok."
. . .
As Ginny and Ron went back to their parents, Ginny exploded. "Why are hanging out with that annoying handsome arrogant toe rag! He's an idiot!"
Ron shrugged. "Everyone's after him, well maybe not 'Mione but everyone else. "
"'Mione," Ginny wiggled her eyebrows, "Am I sensing something?"
"Oh shut up." Ron said as the continued walking. "I think you and Harry are having something."
"He's a arrogant toe rag."
"Well she is a sticker for the rules, well, I mean, their was this one time, before Christmas, we were in courtyard and it was cold and she produced a blue fire which you could carry anywhere with you without burning yourself and Merlin it was useful. She's scary you know, amazing but scary. Oh and did you know that one time-"
Ginny tuned out what Ron was saying and continued walking.
. . .
Luna walked happily down the streets of Diagon Alley. The sun was shinning and everything was perfect. Just then she bumped into someone.
"Sorry." Luna said and so did the other voice
"Ginny!" A red-head boy exclaimed.
The girl-Ginny-got up and Luna got only a small view of her. She had a mane of red hair and chocolate brown eyes. Luna shook her head and got up and so did the girl.
"Ginny Weasley!" The same male voice said. Ginny smiled at Luna before turning and catching up with the red-head boy.
