Chapter 3

A/N: The image above does not belong to me. It belongs to the person who uploaded it on the internet.

For those who might not know him, his name is ToptapJirakit Kuariyakul. He has appeared in several BL series including 2Gether, Tonhon Chonlatee and many others.

Toptap's POV

"Yes, sir, I did," I replied to my boss,  Mr. Sawatmaneekul when he asked me if I had taken care of having the No-Kiss challenge advertised in all the popular social media.

Personally, I believed that this no-kiss challenge that he had in mind was absolutely crazy. And I could already foresee that it was going to get out of control. But of course I had to keep my opinions to myself.

"Good," Mr. Sawatmaneekul said with an approving smile. "I know I can always count on you to get things done."

He was about to leave my office and had already actually reached the door when he suddenly turned around and said, "Toptap, I am anticipating that this latest project of mine is going to make you overwhelmingly busy so I think that you should also advertise for a temporary assistant. Only until this latest project lasts. So that would be around six months or more."

"Sure," I said, happy to have someone to take over some of my duties that I was constantly overloaded with. I would actually be happy with a permanent instead of a temporary assistant.

"Get to it," he said.

"Today," he added before leaving the room.

"Of course," I nodded, and got to work on it right away.

I skipped my coffee break just to be able to get all my work done within the day.

The following day, my office was already flooded with hundreds of applicant-couples for the No-Kiss chanllenge, but no one was yet applying for the temporary assistant position to my office.

I spent the rest of my work day going through the applicants and checking their resumes, picking out the pair that I judged would make good publicity for Mr. Sawatmaneekul's entertainment business.

As the resumes kept pouring in, I was starting to get overwhelmed and anxious because there was still no one calling to apply for the position of my temporary assistant.

Maybe those who were reading my advertisement for it were interested only on permanent positions.

At the stroke of five which signaled the end of my work day, I heaved out a loud sigh and crossed my fingers that tomorrow someone would finally call to ask about the temporary assistant position.

I locked my desk drawers and I filed away the office papers and documents into the top drawer  of my metal filing cabinet and then bent down to open the lowermost drawer and took out my brown mini satchel and closed it and pushed in the lock of the filing cabinet.

I had just pressed the light switch to turn off the lights in my office when my office phone rang.

I hesitated by the door, undecided on whether to take the call or not.

It was three minutes past five. I didn't need to answer the call. I was officially off work.

Then something told me that I should answer it.

I walked over to my desk and picked up the phone on its third ring.

"Sawatmaneekul Enterprises, this is Mr. Kuariyakul speaking, how may I help you?" I said on the phone.

"Good afternoon, sir," a pleasant but breathless sounding voice said to me. "I am interested in applying for the position of temporary assistant to your office."

A/N: The image above does not belong to me. It belongs to the person who uploaded it on the internet.

For those who might not know him, his name is AJ Chayapol Jutamat. He has appeared in several BL series like Friend Zone season one and season two, in Dark Blue Kiss and The Gifted, among others.

"Have you sent in a resume yet?" I asked.

"Not yet, sir, but I can email it to you this evening," he replied.

"Don't bother," I said. "Come over to my office first thing tomorrow morning."

"And that would be what time, sir?" he asked.

"Eight," I replied. "On the dot."

"Very well, sir," he said. "Thank you so much and have a nice evening."

"You as well," I said, "I look forward to seeing you tomorrow."

"Thank you, sir," he said again. "See you tomorrow at eight."

I placed the phone back on its receiver, feeling lighthearted for some inexplicable reason.
