Chapter 20
A/N: The video above does not belong to me. It belongs to the person who uploaded it on YouTube.
New's POV
I hate P'Tay. I really, really, really hate him.
It's past ten at night now and he still hasn't showed up.
I have tried texting him and calling him and I haven't gotten any responses from him at all. What the hell is wrong with him.
Maybe I should call Jennie. Maybe Jennie would know where he is.
"Hallloooooo..."
"Jennie! Do you know where the hell P'Tay is?" I was in no mood for any preliminary greetings.
"And how are you doing, mister handsome?" Jennie always talks in that sickly sweet tone of voice whenever I call her.
"I'm upset," I said, not bothering to hide the frustration in my voice. "I have been trying to reach P'Tay and I'm not getting any responses from him."
"Uh oh, I'm afraid I won't be able to help you with that," Jennie said. "I'm sorry. Keep trying anyway. Bye."
"Bye, Jennie."
Okay, one last try.

The person you're trying to reach is not available at the moment. Please try your call again later.
Fuck! He won't even allow me to leave a message! Goddfucckkingdammittt!
Where on God's green earth is he right now???
Okay, if he won't answer my texts and my calls, I will drive over to his house and camp out in his driveway.
What the hell, it's already past ten at night and traffic on the motorway is still congested??? What's wrong with these people? Don't they ever go to sleep?
Honkkk!
The bastard almost sideswiped my car. He must be drunk. I should get his car's plate number and report him to the authorities for drunk driving.
Honkkk!
Now I'm the one being honked at. Shit, I have slightly wandered off my lane and almost sideswiped another car. Focus, New, focus. You don't wanna end up with broken ribs in a hospital bed. Or worse, you don't wanna wake up with angels flying around you up there in the clouds. Or even worse, you don't wanna wake up sweating in eighteen hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
Finally, I will now exit the motorway and drive towards his street.
Thankfully his street is in a quiet residential area lined with trees with wide leafy branches.
There, there's his driveway. I'm gonna go into his driveway, wait, what the hell, his car is parked in his driveway!!! He is at home! He has been at home all this time! Why has he been ignoring my texts and my calls!
Calm down, New, calm down, relax. Your blood pressure has spiked and is causing your neck to feel warm and sweaty.
Maybe his phone ran out of battery. Or maybe he had accidentally placed his phone on mute. I'm sure he has every good reason to not be able to respond to my texts and calls.
Okay, let me just park my car behind his car in his driveway. Let me just turn off my car's engine.
I will now get out of my car and calmly walk up his driveway and up to his front door.
Buzzz... shit, the sound of his buzzer made me jump. It sounds extra loud because of the silence of the night in his neighborhood. I hope I have not woken up any neighbor.
I jumped once more when the door suddenly opened.
And there in front of me stood someone else. It wasn't P'Tay.
It was someone I had met almost three years ago. He was the last person I had expected to greet me at P'Tay's front door, with nothing but a navy blue towel carelessly wrapped around his waist.
"Who are you?" he had the nerve to ask.
I should have brought my kitchen knife along and announced that this was a stick up.
