Hey guys, so this is a little different than my normal fan fictions because it takes place in the world of another show called The Owl House. If you're unfamiliar with the show, or just need a quick refresher because the final episode is taking FOREVER TO GET HERE, let me explain some things.

The Owl House takes place in a mythical world called the Boiling Isles. The locals all have the ability to do magic and each of them have mastered a specific type of magic and join covens that match their abilities. There are a lot of different types, but the main 10 are...

   - Abomination: they create slime monsters for protection and security
   - Bard: they play music on magical instruments that have different abilities and can use sound waves to control things around them with their voices.
   - Beast Keeping: They are keen in knowledge of all creatures on the isles and can forage for food.
   - Construction: they use power glyphs to increase their strength in order to build everything on the isles from furniture to skyscrapers.
   - Emperor's- The coven in charge of all covens with the purpose of serving the emperor. In exchange, the people in this coven can practice all kinds of magic unlike the other covens.
   - Healing- They use their magic and knowhow in medicine to heal people's wounds and injuries.
   - Oracle: These witches use crystal balls and spells that deal with the mind. They can tell fortunes and even send someone inside another witch's mind if they are skilled enough.
   - Plant- these witches use their magic to grow gardens and food on the isles.
   - Potions- These witches master the art of potion making and using them to create different affects.

Also, every witch has a small animal companion that's made of wood and sits on their staffs called palisman. They come to life on command and never leave their owner's side.

Now that you know the basics, let's talk about this story's characters. (They're all from Ninjago)

Lloyd Garmadon
Backstory: He is in hiding with his uncle Wu from his father, the leader of the emperor's coven. He has sent Lloyd to Ninjago School of Magic to assemble a team to help him overthrow his father.

Kai Smith:
Backstory: Forced to be a responsible older brother when their parents died in a fire. He sells items and ingredients he finds in the forest at the night market to keep a roof over their head.

Crush: Skylor

Nya Smith:
Backstory: Her parents died in a fire and she has been raised by her brother her whole life. She works hard to be the best in her class and make her parents proud.

Jay Walker:
Backstory: He comes from a family of potion makers. He is very clumsy and often makes mistakes, but he likes being a potion maker. He especially gets nervous when he's around Nya.

Cole Brookstone:
Backstory: His mother died when he was twelve. His father is the head of the bard coven, but he's not good at it so he chose the construction track instead. He still has not told his father that he's switched tracks.

Zane Julian
Backstory: Cyborg. Transfer student from Birchwood School of Magic in order to improve their Oracle track. He often takes care of his sick father.

Kira Yost:
Backstory: Her grandmother was the coven head for the healing coven. She is very caring towards everyone and hopes to one day take over as the coven head. However her grandmother is very suspicious of Lloyd and does not approve of their relationship.

Family: Ashley (grandmother, former coven head) (Note: this is NOT the Ashley from Generations, just who she was named after)

Skylor Chen:
Backstory: She sells noodles to the people in the night market with her father. Her dad has no idea she attends school at NSM.

Seliel McCloud:
Backstory: Master of music in the bard track with dreams of being in the emperor's coven. Her father refuses to let her join it.

Pixal Borg:
Backstory: Cyborg, transfer student from the Borg Institute of Magical Arts. Her father Cyrus Borg, sent her to spy on the competing school, but Pixal ended up loving the place having being bullied at her old school. She also fell in love with another cyborg, Zane.
