Hi all,

As the blurb says, this is a parody of the the famous poem 'Twas a night before Christmas and follows the same rhyme structure and number of stanzas. You will notice though that the narrative is vastly different.

I have been holding onto this story for quite some years, and since starting writing on Wattpad a few weeks back, have been thinking that I'd hold off publishing it until I get writer's block, or until closer to Christmas time.

I've since realised that those reasons don't really hold up. The sooner I put it out there, the sooner I can get assistance with illustrations.

With that being said, if you are an illustrator, or you know of someone who is, I would really love for some help turning this into a completed picture book. I did try to use pictures from the internet but it looked terrible.

Some of the vocab is a bit challenging for kids but my four year old can comprehend it so I hope you (and your kids) enjoy the story/poem as much as I enjoyed writing it.
