Changbin POV
When Chris ran away, I desided to nap a bit, because I won't run after him. He told me he will answer me later, and Chris never lied, so I trust him on that one. It was odd though, that he still wasn't back, when I woke up in the early morning. I stood up and got ready for my morning investigation round and praid, that there wouldn't be more corpses.
I took a Winchester 70 and and a Glock 17. With a Winchester 70 on my back, a Glock 17 in my belt and an apple in my left hand, I entered the woods. I do not really expect anything to happen, but I still make this rounds. I really want to solve this case. To get my detective title, but also to stop this madness.
The morning was calm and uneventful. No corpses, no weird tracks. So it surprised me even more to find a boy covered in dirt on the borderline to the city. He wasn't a lot younger than me.
"Who are you?", I shouted. He turned around. All I see in his eyes is fear.
"Don't worry. I won't do anything to you. Are you okay? Have you lost yourself?"
I asked him, lifting my arms, to bring distance between me and my weapons. Suddenly the young man started to cry. It confuses me. He looks traumatised. Am I that scary?
I look around and than I had a gruel thought. Was he here to commit suicide? Or even worse... is he the killer? Is he the one we search for since months? No! That can't be. He looks too scared and insecure for being a serial killer... I stepped closer to him and kneeled down, looking at him like he is a strayed cat.
"Can I help you? Are you alone here? Do you live with your family? Can I bring you somewhere to someone?"
I know I ask him a lot of questions at the same time, I just hoped he could answer at least one of them...
"S-Seung... Seung-", he coughed. "...my Minnie..."
"Minnie?", I asked myself confused.
"Pl-please help me-", the boy whispered weak, holding onto my arms, beofre fainting. Fast I caught him and lifted him up. For now I should take him with me. I can't just leave him out here in the cold. Also... he could be a suspect or a witness.
Felix POV
"Good evening, sir."
A nurse entered my room.
"I am sorry, Miss! How long do I have to stay here? I need to go to college. I can't afford getting dropped out or failing the exams..."
"I am sure you can do your classes online. Also, there is still a long time until the exams start. We can't let you go now, sir. Tell me which college you visit and I am sure we can find another way, than sitting live in the lecture... it's a special case..."
"Seowon University..."
"What are you studying there?", the female nurse asked, taking notes. I hesitate. I always got judged and bullied for what I study. Jisung was the first one not to judge me. He always supported me. The m'woman infront of me looks up confused, since I never answered her question.
"Uhm... cosmetology."
"Perfect...", she writes it down. "I am gonna give them a call. Confused I looked after her.
"Surprised?"
I winced at the sudden voice.
"I manipulated her a bit... people will always judge you. You have to learn ignoring, Lixie..."
