"Gaby for god sake start the engine, this ain't time for tricks"

"I'm playing no tricks, I've lost all controls" everyone looks at Gaby hoping to find that little sneaky smile she carries whenever she's fooling around. "C'mon guys I'm not lying. I swear!" She looks terrified.

"Jonathan, get back to your seat. Michael pull that lever" Adele stops on her command as she catches a glimpse of Garth snoring off, "PLEASE!" Garth jumps up.

Everyone looks towards Adele looking at Garth, "Gar! Snoring off in a situation like this?" Michael says in disbelief.

"What...Isn't..it Ga...by's doing?" Garth says, yawning.

"God! No!" Gaby screams, annoyed.

Everyone shakes their head at Garth and gets back to work.

Adele looks at her wristband and clicks a button, bringing it closer to her face, she speaks "Ella, protective suits on"

"Hello, Adele. One or All?" an AI responds.

"All"

"Command accepted, activating protective suits for all teammates"

One can see black beads originating near the belts around everyone's hips and expanding and multiplying on both sides of the belt, forming protective combat suits. "Get your oxygen masks everyone"

"Cool" Garth says. "You say that every time bro" Michael nods patting Garth's shoulder.

"Entering unknown atmospheric territory in 10 seconds" the system announces.

"1 minute for collision"

"Nothing's working" Jonathan says nervously. Adele sighs, "I don't-" the system cuts in, "Command Accepted, Turning off the system in 3 seconds"

Adele almost immediately looks at Gaby "It just happened" she looks pale.

"We're gonna die" Michael gulps.

"Shut-" Adele's cut off again by a sudden jerk making everyone lose their footing as the ship collides with something. Another jerk; milder this time, the ship stabilizes all of a sudden.

"Guys, are we dead yet?" Garth says, his hand covering his face.

"No," Adele looks alarmed, "Ella, scan the location"

"Initiating scan"

All of them stand near the glass window staring outside; their ship seems to have landed safely. "Error! No information retrieved"

"Gaby, can you turn on the system?"

Gaby nods. Soon after the monitors screens light up. "Our engines are out" Gaby notes.

Everyone looks at Adele "Gear up guys. We have some repairing to do".

"Gaby, wake up!" A tear escapes Adele's eyes and soon a cascade follows as Gaby lies lifeless on her lap. She looks around, all her teammates on the ground. She moves to each of them trying to wake them up but to no avail. For the first time in her life she feels helpless as a leader.

"They're alive" a voice calls making her flinch; "Only sleeping."

Adele turns around, alertness in her brown eyes.

"Who're you?" She carefully reaches for the taser bomb on her holster, "What is this place?" She grabs the tiny sphere tightly in her hand.

"You're in Porgu" a tall man says. Adele freezes in shock. Wasn't Porgu the name of the forbidden planet?

"Now if you may please follow me" he says gesturing her to move along the way he had come from. Adele looks around at her friends "Our guards will take care of them".

Adele, having no choice, unwillingly follows him.

As Adele follows the guy through the double doors she can hardly believe the scene in front of her; an enormous hall with a huge throne sitting at a distance while several empty chairs decorate the sides. But what catches her attention is the ceiling, covered with infinite cables running across; they glowed bright; a bluish glow of energy, the same her team encountered when they had set foot on the planet. Her eyes scan around looking at the intricate designs and symbols that fills the interior. That's when her eyes fall on the person sitting on the throne; a huge male, tall and broad, with defined torso and limbs, much like the previous one she had encountered. His grayish-pale skin seems translucent, almost papery thin revealing his veins underneath. The same armour adorns his broad shoulders down the torso but his patterns are more opulent giving Adele the impression that he was the leader.

A push from behind breaks Adele's trance. Glaring at the man who had brought her, she walks up voluntarily towards the King. Adele is pushed, to her surprise gently, to kneel on the ground. The King walks down the stairs and stands in front of her. Adele flinches at the cold touch as he grabs her chin and lifts it up to meet his gaze; her jaw clenches at the cold stare.

"How're you able to walk on this land?" he says his voice cold as ice sending shivers down Adele's spine, "Earthlings like you have gone insane trying to break free from the enchantment"

Adele glares back, countless thoughts running through her mind. "I don't know" she grits through her teeth. The King scoffs turning away from Adele, "A historic day for PORGU! Earth sends its own to the Forbidden Planet" he averts his gaze back to Adele; a cold, hostile look in his eyes, "Is it to start another intergalactic war?"

"What?! No!" Adele protests, "And it was your kind who invaded us after refusing to accept our treaty and share the energy source with Earth"

"And now you use the same energy to harm my friends!" she almost screams.

The whole room goes silent, the King seems amused, "Is this what they've been teaching the youngsters on Earth" he chuckles "I guess selfishness run in the blood of your kind"

Adele can feel a headache coming her way, but given her situation, she keeps her silence. Instead she observes the King and her surroundings. She needs to come up with something so she can rescue her friends and escape this place.

A sudden sparkle around the King's neck catches her eye. Adele squints her eyes and suddenly the floor seems to give way under her, "Who gave you that necklace?" the words leave her mouth before she can think.

The King is taken aback. Adele sees in utter disbelief that he is wearing an exact replica of the necklace Adele has in her room back on Earth, a last gift from her dead mother. She can never not recognize the blue crystal shaped like a diamond. She can recall her mother telling her how the necklace was a parting gift from Adele's father.

"Are you Adrian?" Adele says slowly her voice barely audible. The King looks surprised, only his love had called him that; to others he was Azar- The ruler of Porgu

"Elle?" Azar's eyes get watery. Tears wells up in Adele's eyes too, "Father?" she says uncertainly.

Her father wasn't human?

"Your majesty we're under attack" A sudden announcement breaks Azar's reverie "Who intrudes the land of Porgu!" he thunders rising abruptly from his sit.

"It looks like a group of new beings we haven't seen before, our energy core doesn't seem to affect their ships, they fly over the meadows" Colt, the Minister of guards, says.

Azar's chest heaves as he breathes in rage and nervousness. He turns to Adele, "You must leave, Colt will take you and your friends, board one of our ships and leave" Concern and fear is evident in Azar's eyes. Fighting a new clan without knowing their vulnerabilities is never an easy task. He can't risk his newly found daughter by keeping her anywhere near.

"Father," Adele speaks "I know you're worried but let me fight by your side, I can't just leave"

"But Adele, you need to understand this, we don't know who they are" Azar says, almost pleading.

"I'm not running away. That's not what warriors do" Adele say holding her ground "There is no time" she adds.

Azar sighs and looks at Colt, "Colt, please make sure, not a speck touches my daughter" Colt nods accepting the command.

"Princess, be careful" Colt warns as he dodges an arrow, "They're using arrows?" Adele had thought of some high-tech-scientifically-advanced weapons but arrows?
"Arrows laced with poison" Gaby adds, "Oh well! The arrows are transforming into tiny metal creatures and they come bearing poison" Michael adds as he shoots one with his beam gun. Adele's shipmates had been awakened on her request just before they left for the war.

Adele studies the enemy spaceships lined up against the limitless cosmos, a gush of red and blue, decorated with countless crystal like stars. A total of 7, one of them bigger than the rest, the mother ship. She looks toward the launch area and notices Azar's ship as it emerges, "Okay that's our cue" Adele confirms and everyone nods getting onto their ship.

"Let's kick some asses" Jonathan smirks.

The war continues, tiny creatures running on the ground like swarms of ants only slightly bigger in size. Above the ground the army of Porgu had successfully taken down 4 of the spaceships under the guidance of Azar and the newly appointed war strategist, Jonathan. But they have lost quite a number of their soldiers and few ships too.

"We're not able to do much damage to the remaining two pawn ships" Garth says a bit confused.

"To protect the civilians we need to take down the mother ship" Azar says over the radio. Adele looks towards the mother ship. The remaining two ships weren't really coming forward like the others, but why?

That's when she realizes it, "The mother ship is protecting the two pawns; that's the source of energy for the rest of them." We were only able to take down the others when they were distanced from the mother ship.

"Father, look out!" Adele screams alarmed as her eyes fall on something bright like a fireball advancing towards her father's(it still felt strange to call him that) ship but it was too late, the radio speaker slips from her hands as she watches her father's ship burn into flames and come crashing down to the ground. Tears fill her eyes and suddenly everything around her feels unreal, the voices blending in the background. She closes her eyes as tears roll down her cheeks and a white rage builds in. She can't lose her father not after she had just gotten him back. Her eyes snaps open, a blue glow in them with bluish strings of energy electrifying her protective suit.

"Let me go down the ship" Adele says, voice as cold as the colour of her eyes, Colt opens his mouth to protest "Now!" Adele commands.

"Michael get ready to land"

Before the ship touches the ground Adele jumps out and races towards the mother ship closing the distance between them quickly. She closes her eyes and suddenly the land around her starts to tremble and countless plants all glowing with blue sprouts burst out engulfing the tiny robot minions bathing the whole battlefield in a blue glow.

Adele comes to a halt, She looks around her satisfied. She looks at her hand feeling the strange energy rushing through her, never had she felt so powerful.

"Adele" A familiar weak voice catches her attention.

It's her father, he survived.

The glow in her eyes slowly diminishes as she turns around. She is about to go to him when she feels something on her shoulder making her stop.

"What are you?" An unknown voice speaks. She stays silent, lifting her hand about to blast the intruder. "You wouldn't be needing that Adele" Garth cuts in as they surround the intruder and his hand falls away from her shoulder.

"Adele, nature listens to you," Azar says, standing with Colt's support.

Adele takes a deep breath, closing her eyes and everyone watches in awe as she powers up. She leaps into the air, her face facing the cosmic sky. "Eat that Rascals" she murmurs and gigantic plants emerge from the ground shooting right towards the mother ship and in a moment strong vines and branches engulf the ship and her pawn crushing them to ruins.

"No one wins against nature."
