Chaos VII

As soon as I flashed Order to safety, I contacted the A-Team and began to battle the Darklings, stabbing them through the chest and ending their pitiful lives.

My anger and worry for Order fueled my attacks, and my strikes and slashes were no match for the Darklings' claws and teeth.

There were about twenty of them left, and in one slash I sliced through five. "It was awful knowing you." I said quietly, before I jumped into the air and summoned 15 titánio arrows, which all fell down on the Darklings, piercing their skulls and killing them instantly.

Tired, I slowly floated down back to Gaea, who actually wasn't that bad of a primordial once she got over her I-want-to-take-over-the-Earth-and-kill-you-all stage.

Laying down on the sand, I patiently waited for Triumph, knowing that if I flashed out before he got to me, he would freak. I didn't have to wait long before the Pegasus came into view and I hoisted myself up onto his back.

"Camp Half-Blood, Triumph." I said, and he nodded, before stretching his wings and taking off into the sky.

Where is Lady Order? Triumph asked. I frowned.

"We got attacked by Darklings and one of them nicked her. So I flashed her out and stayed to deal with the rest of them." I explained.

That was very brave, Lord Chaos.

"Thanks." I said, and we lapsed into silence for the rest of the ride back.

As Triumph touched down on the grassy surface of Half-Blood Hill, I thanked him and conjured up a portal leading to his private stables back at Camp Jupiter. He thanked me, and walked through.

I stretched and flashed into our cabin, and immediately walked to the infirmary.

"Chaos. Calypso isn't letting anyone inside right now." Luke said, stopping me as I reached the door handle. I sighed and slumped down in a chair in defeat. Luke sat down beside me, looking almost as worried as me. She was his younger sister, after all.

"Hey, Order will be fine, don't worry. She's tough. What happened, anyways?" Luke said wearily.

I sighed. "I wanted to take a Pegasus back here from Camp Jupiter, and we made a stop on a private beach. I told our ride to come back in an hour, and then we walked around and talked." I paused.

"She ended up chasing me because I called her by her old name to annoy her, and we ran straight into an army of Darklings."

Luke nodded. "That explains the bite and the venom. Continue"

"We started to fight, and she was making her way towards me when she got nicked on the arm. I immediately rushed to her side and defended her from the Darklings, then flashed her here to safety, and contacted you. After that, I dispatched of them, and waited for Triumph to come. And now of course, I'm here." I explained. Luke nodded.

"Of course that's what you did. Chaos, you're a brave, selflessness, loving, loyal, idiot." I grinned.

"I know." I said. Then pouted. "Hey now I remember, Order and I were going to watch Finding Nemo tonight! Aww man." Luke laughed.

"I'd offer to see it with you, but after so many times, I think I'll pass. It's a wonder that Order puts up with your crazy obsession." He laughed. I grumbled something incoherently.

"Luke, you've only seen it around 299 times. Order has a higher Nemo tolerance then you." I complained. He groaned.

"Okay, okay. But I'm still not going to watch it with you until Order gets out, because it's your special thing. I've got to go, Bianca is calling me." Luke said, and left.

I sat, bored, and lonely. Deciding to try to get inside the room, I reached for the door handle and twisted it quietly, opening the door and stepping inside.

"Who is it? I told you that nobody could one in!" Calypso scolded, before recognizing me.

"Oh, Chaos, it's you. Please, take a seat." She said wearily.

"Thanks." I croaked, seeing Order's body, a mess of blood, her veins popping out of her skin, glowing black. My joking mood had suddenly vanished, replaced by extreme worry, sadness, and anger.

"What's the update on her condition?" I asked, scared to hear the truth.

"We got to her just in time, Chaos. If we'd waited any loner, her powers would seep away and she'd die a mortal. But she's gonna be okay." Leo said, patting me on the back.

"Thanks man. Thanks Caly. I owe you two so much." I said gratefully and honestly. Calypso and Leo smiled.

"Chaos, you saved us, and treated us like equals. Always. From the moment we met. I knew you before as, well, you know, and I stuck by your side. Because you stuck by mine, when I needed you. Even though I thought I would hate you, I couldn't. Because, Chaos, you're one of the best people alive. We are your friends, and we will always be." Leo said. Calypso and I stared at him in shock.

"Did Leo just say something....deep and honest?" I whispered from the corner of my mouth.

"I think so..." Calypso answered, her jaw hanging.

Leo groaned and dragged his hands down his face. "I'm right here, you know." We laughed, then ur bed our attention back to Order.

Her veins were beginning to go back to a normal color, and were slowly sinking back into her skin, no longer popping out. A faint glow was beginning to get brighter around her, and I knew that her powers were returning.

"Chaos..." She mumbled in her fitful sleep, and I smiled sadly, but a smile.

"Chaos, it's getting late, go get some rest. Doctor's orders. Order will be fine and will stay here for a day or so. You can come visit in the morning." Calypso said firmly, leaving no room for arguments. I nodded.

"I'll see you guys." I said, and exited the room, walking down the hallway to my bedroom.

As I lay down on the soft mattress, I closed my eyes.

Order was going to be okay, and that was all that mattered.
