Fernando's P.O.V

I turned around to find the Guard off our trail and Amanda starring in angered disbelief, her fists shaking.

"Amanda, AMANDA, are you okay, ANSWER ME?!", I tried to shake her out of the trace she was in. She took my hands off of her and turned to face me, her expression one of pure anger and hatred.

"They took her. They took her and I couldn't move!", she yelled, tears suddenly streaming down her face.

"Um... I-I'll g-get the others. Al, Em, comeback here!", I shouted over my shoulder.

   They ran up to us out of breath, "What happened?  Where's Annabeth?", Albus asked us.

   "Gone.", Amanda said simply.

    "Gone?  What?  Where?  How?", Emily asked franticly.

"The Guard member who chased us took her. I wasn't able to stop them.", Amanda said with a stare.  "Why didn't you guys come sooner, couldn't you hear her yelling,  or did you not care enough to interrupt your make out session?", She said this bitterly like it was a sin.

   "W-What I-I didn't we didn't-", Albus stuttered his face turning fifty shades of red.  Emily looked down almost ashamed.

   Emily looked up at us when Albus stopped his sputtering.  "I blacked out after I saw Annie get caught.  I thought you were gonna be gone too but Amanda, I would be there if I could've believe me when I say that"

   "Okay.", Amanda said and that was the end of it.

"Well we to find Annabeth!  Come on, let's go!", I said turning to leave.

"Don't be stupid, we don't know where they are, how to find them, and how to defeat one much less all of them. We can't afford to act rashly about this.", Emily said plainly.

"I have a plan. We spy.", Albus said.

"That won't work", Amanda, the queen of Debbie Downers proclaimed.

"Then what will? We have no margin for error if we get caught doing Albus's plan we could get caught and die", Emily said firmly.

"That's it, that's what we have to do!", a thought dawned upon me, and I knew exactly what we should do. "We should use one of us as bait and the rest of us follow the guard!"

   "That.  Is.  BRILLIANT!", Albus said sarcastically throwing his arms up.

  "Actually, it's not half bad.  We just need to find someone who can't be turned to the Dark Side easily and is good at mazes.", Emily said a light smile on her face.

   Albus turned, confused, asked, "Why mazes?"

   "A while back Annie was having a weird dream with the-"

   "Labyrinth!  So if my hypothesis is correct, we could be in the center of  Daedalus' Labyrinth.", Amanda completed.  She looked almost excited making me excited ready to support her in any plan she had.

   "Would you mind telling us your hypothesis?", Albus said in a butler accent.

   "The Labyrinth might be the Guard headquarters, or the center at least," Emily said a look gleaming in her eyes.  "Amanda, you wanna be the worm?"

   "Sure.", she said rolling her shoulders back, "I'm looking forward to kicking some Guard ass."

   My eyes widened when she said that.  "What?!

   "Do you have a problem with this arrangement, Fernando?", Amanda looked at me, almost glaring.

"W-well... wouldn't you...want to uhhhhhh... Sleep on it! Yea that's it! It's getting late or early I guess and we need sleep to make any rational decisions,", I wasn't wrong, it was nearly midnight.

"You're right, but we should take shifts, I'll take first watch," Albus said sitting on a rock.

"Fine but you'd better wake me up to go next", Amanda said as she feel asleep. I doze off not long after that.

  I was in a white room , the same room I meet Celena in a few months ago.  She wanted to bring back my memories, that's why we're here anyway.

   "So you are here at last aren't you?", a woman in a white cloak and blue dress said, appearing from thin air.

"It's not like I want to be Celena. Now want do you want, last time you called me you had a reason, what is this time?", I said full of determination.

"I came to help you with your plan to rescue the girl, Annabeth was it, but if you don't want my help fine by me."

I realized my mouth was open so I shut it. "What is your idea then?"

"The plan you had was great, keep it like that, but it is essential that Amanda-"

"Why Amanda and not me or Albus?"

"Because Amanda knows more about the Labyrinth then any of you. Like I was saying, make sure Amanda has a ball of yarn and sticks to the right wall. I also want you to remember these words, ingressus est a. That is all the advice I have for you. Goodbye Fernando, I do believe we will meet again shortly."

I jumped up, wide awake. Amanda was shaking me telling me to take watch, I replaced her on the rock thinking of my latest encounter with Celena.
