Hey guys!  I'm back!  So I have decided to cut the diary and just start of here!  The rest will be shown in a flash back.  Well let's begin!

                                                              Amanda's P.O.V  
   "I've been reading this map the whole trip, why did you have to give it to Mr. Cassanova?", I grumbled.  We were   stuck in this thick jungle with only a map from a hobo to guide us.  Yep, real reliable. 

   "Well you've gotten us lost at least three and a half times so I think that may call for switching", Albus smirked. I gave him a snarl, crossed my arms and kept walking. 

   "Hey don't worry!  If he gets us lost we take away his map privileges!", Annabeth said trying to cheer me up.

   "Yea they'll tired eventually." Emily said in a bored tone.

   It's been an hour of walking in a circle, around a two foot wide tree.  "And THIS is why I should have the map."

   "Amanda stop your whining! We're going the right way and you know it!", Fernando grumbled. 

   "Actually, she's right," Emily said, "We've been walking around this tree for an hour"

  As the three of them bickered, I checked my watch and groaned.  We didn't have much more time before they came. I read so many books on this place before having my dad Apperate us here that I knew of a lot of the dangers in the book "How to Survive in the Jungle"  The problem is, nobody read it besides Emily and Anna.

   "Guys, we have to go!", I yelled, glancing at Emily.

   "Dang, it's that time already?"

   "Thirty seconds over," I said grimly.

   "What are you guys talking about?"Albus questioned.

   "Seriously guys, what's going on?  what's coming?", Fernando asked, putting a hand on my shoulder.

   I shrugged his hand off and said, "The Guard has a set time to come out here with orders to capture anybody they find, and take them back to their headquarters, dead or alive."  The boys looked at me, their jaws practically dropping to the floor.

"I know a place we can hide. Come on!"Annabeth said, gesturing to a clearing.

We arrived at the place and I started the protection spells. We were safe for about an hour when we heard rustling in the trees. "Sh*t..." I said scared to death. What? I'm twelve years old going on an adventure to save my friends memory, it's kinda freaky.

   Four members of the Guard came out nearly cornering us.  They were the shape of humans underneath a cloak made from darkness and white masks with read cheeks tear tracks and a smile. 

   "Run!", Fernando screamed.  We ran in between two of the Guard with inhuman speed.

   After a few minutes, we stopped to catch our breath when Albus yelled, "What the bloody hell ARE those things?!"

   "None of the books I've read at school or home has mentioned them before.", Emily said.

   "Me neither," I concluded, "Did you read anything at camp, Annabeth?"

   She didn't respond,but just shrugged.  "No, but did you guys hear that rattling?"

   All of us turned to see a wall of the creatures around us.  We did the only logical thing after that, we ran like hell.

   The Guard trailed close behind us, unfeeling behind their masks.  Annabeth quickly turned and threw Black Widower, her dagger, at it only for it to soar through them without a scratch.  Her eyes widened and ran faster.  

Annabeth's P.O.V

   The Guard isn't human, that's all I know although it's obvious.  Falling behind the rest of the group, I pondered what this could be.  I still ran straight ahead past the horrid creature but it was faster.  It grabbed my right shoulder in a constricting grip, meaning if magic worked I wouldn't be able to raise my wand.  This was torture, watching my friends run ahead of me not realizing anything else was wrong.  The member of the Guard pulled me closer with barely any effort.   All my struggling did was make me tired, I did the one thing I could, yell.

   "Help!", I exclaimed just as another hand wrapped around my mouth and another hoisting me over its owner's shoulder.

   Amanda turned around and and gave a cry, sprinting toward me.  The Guard member ran at inhuman speed, making it impossible to chase us. 

   I'll see you all again, I promise!, I thought through my tears.
