Chapter 2- NEW GIRL
It was Lunch and the girls were walking around Campus, to the dining tables.
"I'm so hungry I could eat a horse!", groaned Maddy, rubbing her stomach.
"We're almost there", said Cora, sounding a little like a parent.
When they got there, Maddy sat down while the other girls grabbed food. Gia offered to get some for her.
"What's up Mads?", asked TJ and Johnny, walking up to the table.
"Hey guys! Not much. Just super hungry", laughed Maddy.
"As usual then", joked Lucas, walking to the table too.
Out of all the boys, Maddy was definitely closest to Lucas. They just got on really well. Johnny was on the Basketball Team so were close too.
Maddy laughed and reached up to ruffle Lucas' hair. "There's nothing wrong with my obession with food", she laughed.
They laughed, sitting down.
Charlie and Ben arrived, sitting with them.
The girls finally came over, holding their trays. They all sat down, apart from Addy as all the seats were taken.
"Here Ads, you can sit here", said Charlie with a smile, getting up for her.
Adelaide smiled and sat down. "Thanks Charlie"
"Oooh", teased Tiffany, giggling with the others.
Adelaide and Charlie rolled their eyes in a joking manner.
Gia passed Maddy her food, smiling and laughing a little as Maddy ate rapidly.
"Calm down there Mads, it's not going anywhere!", joked Lucas, making everyone laugh.
Suddenly, a loud noise was heard across the campus.
"What's that?", asked Cora, looking around.
The noise got louder, indicating it was close.
"No way!", said Charlie, pointing to the source of the noise.
TJ gasped as he saw what Charlie pointed to.
"A motorbike!", yelled TJ, brightness in his eyes.
Everyone in the dining area turned to see the motorbike.
Harry and Frankie, the Dorm Advisors for the Boys and the Girls stood there, as if they knew what was going on.
The motorbike stopped and a female in a black leather jacket got off, taking off her helmet. She had long, flowing brown hair and piercing blue eyes.
Tiffany gasped. "She's gorgeous!"
"Her eyes are brighter than my future", said Maddy, in awe.
Cora's mouth was also wide open.
"Probably brighter than yours too, C", said Maddy.
Cora looked at Maddy, glaring slightly but stopped. "You know what? I don't think I can argue with that. They're so bright"
"She's walking closer, shush", said Addy, transfixed on the newcomer.
The boys were the same.
The girl walked up to Frankie and Harry with confidence.
"Hi. You're Maya right?", said Frankie with a smile.
The girl nodded, holding out her hand, first to Harry, then Frankie.
"Ok cool, so... welcome to PCA!", said Harry with a laugh.
Maya giggled, running a hand through her hair. "Thanks. Looks like a cool place", she said, her British accent strong.
"Woah, that's an attractive voice right there", said Johnny.
Adelaide couldn't help but notice Charlie was looking at her. Everyone was but she did feel a little... not jealous, a little insecure. She didn't say anything though. They weren't even dating. Johnny's comment about her voice didn't help either. Addy was also British but her voice didn't sound like hers. She didn't really have much of an accent.
Frankie smiled. "Well, your room arrangements are being made so you'll have to hold onto your things for a while"
Maya nodded. "That's fine"
Frankie looked at the Group. "Gia, Tiffany, Cora, Maddy and Addy, come here please!"
Once the girls walked over, Frankie spoke. "Are you girls ok with showing Maya around?"
Cora nodded. "We're fine with that, right girls?", she said, looking at them.
They all nodded.
"Great! Well, I'll leave you to it", said Frankie, walking away.
Harry followed after her. 'Don't be too weird', he mouthed to the boys.
"So, hey! I'm Maddy! Or Mads", said Maddy, cheerfully.
"Or the Basketball Queen", said Tiffany, making them laugh.
"Nice to meet you, Maddy. You'll have to show me your skills", said Maya.
"I will", she smiled.
"I'm Cora Nelson", said Cora in a mature manner, holding out her hand.
Maya shook Cora's hand. "Awesome name, girl"
Cora smiled. "Thanks. Let's take a moment to praise your awesome hair though", she laughed.
They laughed.
Adelaide introduced herself. "Hi. I'm Adelaide. Everyone just calls me Addy though", she said, smiling a little.
Maya gave her a bright smile. "Wow, how can you make brown eyes look so good?", she complimented.
Addy wasn't used to the compliments but was touched. "Thankyou! YOUR eyes are beautiful though!"
Maya giggled. "Thanks!"
Addy smiled. She wasn't worried any more- they'd get along.
"Ok, girl, I'm going to need you to take a few steps so I can have a better look at your outfit!", said Tiffany, her eye for fashion showing through.
Maya stepped back, laughing. "I feel like I'm on a red carpet. All the compliments, I'm just a normal girl!", she joked, running a hand through her hair.
"Yeah but you're easily one of the hottest girls here. And it's your first day", said Tiffany. "Oh, I'm Tiffany by the way.
"Well I hope I'll find a guy who thinks that too. Tiffany, ok, got it", smiled Maya.
"You'll find great guys here. And bad ones. You just have to be careful. Luckily, you've got us though", said Gia.
Maya smiled. "I'm glad I've got you girls then! You all seem lovely. What's your name?"
"Thanks! We try", laughed Gia. "And it's Georgina. Just call me Gia though", she smiled.
Maya nodded. "Ok. So, Maddy, Cora, Addy, Tiffany and Gia", said Maya, pointing to each girl. "How did I do?", she laughed.
"Excellently", laughed Cora.
