Emiko pov
The girls and I were waiting in the Penthouse for dad and my uncles. I was laying on the couch with my legs hanging off the back. My pale blond hair was loose and my blueish green eyes were reading a book.

My name is Emiko Aijima though everyone calls me Emi. My dad is Noel Aijima, the car racer. I'm only seven years old. And already mom says I'm definitely my father's daughter. I want to race just like my dad. Dad says I have to wait till I'm older though. The girls I mentioned are my best friends and the daughters of celeberities just like me. First is Noriko Kitaoji or Nori. She has shoulder length auburn hair and brown eyes just like her dad. She is nine and already wants to be an actress since her dad is an actor. She can be cocky, arrogant, and a bit childish but we all love her. Next is Yasu Hirose. She is eleven and loves to write stories. She has shoulder length black hair and hazel eyes. She hides her sweet and caring side behind a cruel side. Third is Tomoko Koda. She is fourteen. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. She is kind and is like a big sister to all of us. She wants to be a doctor. Fourth is Yako Kageyama. She is four and the baby of the group. She has long, light peach hair and brown eyes. She can't sit still and often gets into mischief. She also likes to help people. Last is Setsuko Kitaoji. She is seventeen. She has long dark brown hair and dark olive eyes. She is the big sister of the group and she and Nori are cousins. She helps her dad with the casino/resort. She is calm, collected, responsible, kind, and compassionate.

As I said we were all waiting for our dads. Well Yako already fell asleep. They had said they had to do something.  Suddenly the doors opened and in came our dads. They looked surprised to see us siting there waiting for them. Once dad saw me hanging upside down he chuckled.
" Okay little miss. Sit up." Dad said in English.

Oh yeah. Dad's first language is English and his second is Japanese. I'm fluent in both.

" Fine." I answered and swung over. And went back to my book. I heard my uncles chuckle at me. Dad came over and picked me up.
" Hey! That's cheating."
" Well then if I put you down are you going to put the book down?"
" I promise. Now put me down please." He smiled and put me down. I huffed annoyed that he would do that. I put the book down as promised. Dad sat down. I ended up in his lap relaxing. After a short while we all fell asleep next to or on our dads.

Noel pov
It didn't take long for Emi to fall asleep. After all the kids fell asleep we all shared a smile. I pushed Emi's blond hair away from her face and smiled. She was just like me and she followed me everywhere. She wanted to race just like I did. I knew that she would have to wait till later. It wasn't long before Chieko came in with the others. When she saw Emi she laughed.
"Good Lord Noel. She's just like you."
" I know." I responded. Chieko came over and sat down. After a while I realized how late it was. We had all already decided to spend the night at the casino. I picked Emi up and said goodnight to everyone else.

I went into our suite and layed her on mine and Chieko's bed. Chieko came in and we both fell asleep with our daughter in between us.

20 years later
Emiko pov
I was on the track practicing against dad. It's not easy racing against the legendary Noel. Even worse when he is your father. I'm 27 and I have been racing for seven years now. We ended up in a tie. Once I got out dad looked over and I smiled. He smiled back. Yako came bouncing over and hugged me.
" That was awesome! You're amazing!"
" It wasn't a real race Yako. And I still have a lot to learn." At 24 Yako was still the most excitable of the group.
"You're still really good for a racer. Now come on. We gotta go." Yako said pulling me along. I sighed and shook my head. We went over to where dad was and we all left to the casino.

I drove my car with Yako in the passenger seat. The whole way she was excitedly talking about different things. I half listened.

Once we arrived at the casino we went up to the penthouse. Setsuko smiled the minute she saw us.
" Hey. How was the practice?"
" Good. Still got a bit to learn though." We talked for a bit before the others came in. Noriko greeted us.
"Hey guys. What are you discussing?"
" Just my practice."
" Oh yeah. You raced against Uncle Noel today right?" Tomoko asked me.
" Yep. It's not easy to race against him."
"Next time let us come so we can watch a father daughter race." I laughed and spoke.
" Sure."
"Geez and reporters say you are quiet and don't really show any emotion." Yasu commented.
" That's around people I don't know. You know that." Our dads, minus Uncle Satsuki, came in shortly after that. We all were talking about a exhibition that was coming up when Uncle Satsuki rushed in.
" Wow. What's wrong big bro?" Uncle Yuzuki asked.
" Oh. You're all here, huh?" Uncle Satsuki said.
"Satsuki? You look pale." Uncle Chiaya said.
"Yeah, well....this arrived."
"What's that, an invitation?" Uncle Yuzuki aksed.
"No....a warning."
"A warning?!" Uncle Mirai shiuted. Everyone crowded around the paper to see it say we're coming for the two greatest jewles.
"What, seriously?" Uncle Yuzuki shouted.
"See, I told you not to say things like that lightly." Uncle Chihaya commented.
"You seem pretty calm though, Chihaya." Uncle Mirai said.
"Who's it from?" Dad aksed.
"There's no name." Tomoko said.
"Wait..... here....." Yuko said and pointed to the card.
"What's this...... a drawing of a fox? Its colored in black, though....." Yasu said.
"Black Fox....." I looked up in surprise.
"Black Fox?"
"The 'World Reformation Phantom Thieves' everyones talking about, right? Oh, I see, so that's why the fox is colored in black.... This is like solving a riddle." Yasu said.
"They really exist? I was sure it was an urban myth." Tomoko said.
"I'm pretty sure the girls are right. A picture dealer I know got a notice like this and then a painting was stolen. He showed me the notice.... and it had a picture of a fox on it, just like this one." Uncle Satsuki said.
"So Black Fox really exists, then?" Uncle Yuzuki asked.
"I've heard of them, too. I've never actually seen them.... but apparently they can slip past any guards and always mange to steal whatever they're after." Uncle Mirai said. I saw Yasu get a look that I knew all too well, on her face.
"Hmm. Any guards, huh...? Are they really that amazing?"
"Well.... it's probably best that we assume it's really them." Yuko said. Setsuko spoke up for the first time.
" Whether its Black Fox or someone else using their name..... We can't let them interfere with the exhibition." I had a really bad feeling.
"So we're gonna be ready for them, then?" Noriko asked. I sighed and put my head in my hands.
"That's right, ready and waiting." Setsuko responded.
"Just what I'd expect from you, Sets."
"Now I see what the girls mean. They are just like us." Uncle Ryoichi said.
" Everyone minus Emiko seems excited." I glared at Uncle Yuzuki.
" Yeah well. Your daughters have roped me into schemes one too many times." I said.
" Ah come on. It will be fun. Plus. It would be good practice for you if we needed to, you know chase, them in a car." I gave Yuko a look. She gave me a puppy dog look.
" Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee." I sighed.
" Fine." I said giving up.

We made preparations for the Black Foxes.
