Chapter four: Lou Ellen
After Lou's friend Cecil ran down to the mortal world, she continued on with my schedule.
Chiron didn't like the daughter of Hecate late, he stood with his arm crossed while others shot at the targets.
"You're late!"
Chiron told me, She nodded and gripped her bow.
He chuckled and patted the daughter of Hecate on the back.
"Go shoot some targets. Just because you're good at it doesn't mean any delays."
Chiron informed.
Lou ran to her target. Number nine.
She was the best archer in camp, besides Frank and other hunters.
While Lou Ellen shot arrows, they all went into Bullseye, she mumbled of how pointless it is.
However, she didn't know Chiron was right behind her, listening to ever word she mumbled.
"Tell me, daughter of Hecate,"
Chiron began. Lou Ellen yelped and shot the arrow upwards.
She turned to see Chiron, and out of the corner of her eye, some demigods turned to their direction.
Whispering.
"Is my training, pointless?"
Chiron asked, narrowing his eyebrows.
Lou Ellen began blushing and fuming with anger.
She heard demigods around her whisper something.
She heard one boy say,
"Caught."
And another, "busted"
Lou Ellen stammered and tried to disagree with her mentor.
"Don't deny what you said. I heard everything."
Chiron say. The daughter of Hecate gulped and gripped her bow. Blisters and splinters could be felt on her hands.
She then nodded after a long time of silence.
Chiron swished his tail and clopped away.
Taking deep breaths, Lou glared at other demigods who were staring at her.
She then drew an arrow, nocked it and pulled the string back of the bow.
Letting go, the arrow whistled through the wind like the speed of light, and struck truce in its center.
As the conch horn blew, Lou had sixteen arrows all cramped in the bullseye.
The daughter of Hecate approached the target and carefully pulled out all sixteen arrows.
By the time she had them in her quiver, she was late to her Latin Class. Which Chiron also teaches.
"You're late....again."
Chiron stood by the doorway, his eyebrows crossed.
Lou Ellen sighed and shifted her Latin book.
The centaur sighed as well, and let the daughter of Hecate inside.
"Blah blah blah blah Veritas means what?"
Chiron asked the class.
Everyone raised their hands except Lou Ellen.
The mentor looked at Lou who was staring out the window.
"Lou? Do you know what Veritas means?"
Chiron asked Lou, who was still wandering.
The centaur waited, until he pounded his hoof on the birch floor.
The daughter of Hecate snapped back and realized what happened.
"Wha?"
She asked. Everyone around her snickered.
Lou Ellen looked around until she saw the board.
It said, "Veritas Numquam Perit."
She calculated through her mind what those words meant.
"Uh.......Veritas means truth....Numquam means never....and Perit means perish. Truth never perish."
Lou Ellen said to Chiron.
The old mentor sighed and tapped his hoof.
Silence, only the wind that rustled outside and the sun shining overhead.
"I asked you what Veritas meant. Lou Ellen, what is going on?"
The centaur asked.
The daughter of Hecate didn't know how to answer the question.
She's been having difficulties with her classes, and having nightmares that don't make sense.
"I–I........."
She felt her face flush as demigods around her whisper and talk.
Without thinking, she grabbed her books and ran out, tears streaming down her face.
Lou Ellen then slammed the doors of the classroom close and ran out into the forest.

How was it?
Also I need an answer, is Cecil a boy or a girl?
It never really mentions in the book if Cecil is a girl of boy........and the pictures don't help.
I need and answer soon, and I'm confused.
Peace out!
