A couple of days later

"Karai, since when do you invite all of us over for dinner?"

"I wanna talk with y'all"

"Is it about something that will induce trauma?"

"Um... kinda"

"The f**k did you do Snakey?!"

"Nothing! It's just... Do you remember when we were younger we went to that mutant club and there was a mutant singing on stage?"

"Yeah, why?"

"That was Solaris, the owner of the club kidnapped him and made him perform for everyone... The anniversary of his rescue is coming up and..."

"And..?"

"I wanna ask you all if I should celebrate with him? I mean it was the day his new life started"

"Um.. that's very questionable"

"In short, maybe?"

"Ugh!"

"Snakey, we don't know, it seems like a nice idea but that may bring more trauma than celebration"

"Maybe you're right but I don't want him to go through those memories again"

"Hmm.. maybe have a small dinner, we'll come, someone can bring a cake and just have a nice family dinner"

"That sounds like a good idea"

As the adults continued talking Aubrey was mixing potions in the foot clan lab, she was slowly falling asleep.

"Has anyone seen Aubrey?"

"She's in Stockman's old lab, downstairs to your left"

"Thanks sis, um.. could any of you talk to mom? I saw her crying last night and her eyes were red this morning"

"Mother?" Karai looked at Donnie in confusion.

"Uh.. yeah, we'll talk to her Mus"

"Okay, thanks" Remus walked over to Leah, Ray, and Sera, "She's in the lab"

"I told you so!"

"Let's just go get her!"

"Alright, alright"

The four teenagers walked into the lab only to see a half asleep Aubrey mixing the wrong chemicals together.

"Crap, Aubrey!"

"Huh?!" Aubrey suddenly woke up as she dropped the chemicals, mixing them as a giant portal appeared.

"What the?!"

"Oh no!" The teenagers got sucked into the portal, screaming as they spun around inside it. "Dah!!"

The four teenagers landed on a building rooftop, on top of each other.

"Ugh, are you all okay?"

"Besides Ray's claw digging into my back, doing good!"

"Oh calm down extra!"

Aubrey wiggled out from underneath them, she looked around it was New York but not their New York. "Why does everything look so different?"

"Yeah!! Looks super weird!"

"This is New York approximately 15 years ago based on the sun and the buildings"

"15 years ago?"

"Yes, the chemicals must have sent us back in time"

"But why here? Why now?"

"Who knows? Best bet is we-!"

Leah shushed her as she looked over the edge, her eyes widened as she saw a woman with blue hair walking on the sidewalk.

"Look"

"Whoa! That's a pretty lady!" Sera shouted, pointing at her.

".. I think that's my mother"

"Aunt Novo?"

"Yeah.. Why do I feel like we're missing someone?"

Leah felt Remus pat her shoulder as she stared at the woman. "Hmm?"

"I know it hurts, it's okay"

".. maybe we should follow her?"

"Yeah, let's do it"

The teenagers followed after her, as she saw her walking into an alleyway, they quickly dove into hiding as a certain blue masked turtle jumped in front of the woman.

"Hi my queen!"

"Hello My darling" Novo smiled as she kissed Leo's cheek as she heard a baby cooing from the back of his shell, "Is that my precious little gemstone?"

"Yes it is! Say hi to mama Leah"

A baby Leah was taken off of his shell and into the arms of her mother, she stared at her and smiled as she touched her face.

"Aww"

"Hello my dear" Novo kissed her forehead, "What are you doing here, Leo? You said you never wanted to be seen in the city without your weapons"

"Okay, one! Leah was trying to grab them every time I tried to grab them!"

"Ah, she's persistent, much like her father"

"And two.. everything's peaceful now! There's no Shredder, the Foot Clan getting reformed, the Kranng are gone.. all we really have to worry about are the Purple Dragons on occasion"

"But your brother's are not here with you" Novo rubbed his cheek, "Maybe you should give them a call"

"I will, I will! All of us can meet up on the rooftops for a fun party!"

"A party? Now you know Leah is not comfortable with other people besides us and Coral"

"Okay, we could bring them over a while before we head up top, come on! You did say call my siblings"

"I meant for a cup of tea" Novo playfully rolled her eyes as Leo held her cheeks, pulling her closer.

"Please~"

"Fine, you know I can't say no with those blue eyes" Novo looked at baby Leah, "Those eyes are not helping"

"But you love them~"

"I do, let's head home"

"Okay!"

The two young couple and their baby walked into the sewers with the teenagers following a good distance behind them.

"Aww, it's so cute"

"Yeah... It is"

"Still doesn't explain why we were brought back here?"

"I don't know, could it just be random?"

"The chances of it being random are 876 quadrillion to 1, but if it's for a reason.. what is it?"

Leo and Novo were sitting on the living room couch with Coral handing them cookies and some tea.

"Thank you Coral, the others will be here soon"

"Are you sure? No one has answered the cheese phone"

"I just have a feeling"

"Darling, I want to talk to you... Alone."

"Um.. okay?"

Coral quickly walked away, leaving the couple.

"Maybe you should talk to them separately, not all together... You know how hard it was for them"

"I know.. but it would be nice for all of us to spend one night together"

"Leo" Novo held his hand, "Maybe we should go to Raphael's apartment, and talk to hi-!"

"Or we could wait! I doubt Raph will like it if we show up on his doorstep as a surprise"

"Leo, we can't wait! If you want them to be a part of Leah's life, you have to do this now!"

"And I'm trying!"

"Leah needs to know she has more family than just u-!"

"I know that! And I was thinking, hoping that a nice party would bring all of us back together!"

"But it would be better if we do this face to face-!"

"Oh, like how you wanted to talk to your mother face to face."

"Don't bring my mother into this."

"Well, isn't this the same thing? You talk about bringing our family into our daughter's life and yet you don't want your mother to know she even exists!"

"My mother's going to hate her! It's gonna be about nothing except the kingdom!"

Leo took a step back as he came to the realization, he and Novo were actually fighting, not a tiny spat about who was waking up to calm Leah down when she was crying in the middle of the night, a real fight.

"Okay.. okay.."

Novo turned away from him, she looked down at baby Leah who was whimpering and holding onto her.

"I'm... Going to take a walk, Leo. I'm taking Leah with me... If your daughter ever follows your path..." Novo took a doll that looks exactly like Leo out of Leah's hands and dropped it on the floor as she began walking out of the lair.

"Novo, wait!! Let... Me, go with you-!"

"I don't need your protection. You or My mother's." Novo snapped at him, she quickly ran out of the lair, holding Leah.

"No.. no.."

The team hid on the sewer pipes at the top of the sewers, they looked at each other after hearing the couple argue.

"Wow"

"Dang, I never heard Uncle Leo shut down like that before" Sera exclaimed, looking surprised.

"Neither have we"

"Dad use to say My mother had a fiery spirit, a spirit that always seemed to corner him no matter what tactics he used"

"And he wasn't lying"

"You're mama knows how to shut him the hell up! I gotta figure out how she did that!" Ray grinned evilly.

"Ray, relax"

Aubrey watched Novo as she walked through the sewers, trying to find a way to make it to the surface.

"Aunt Novo seems like a caring person, so much different than your grandmother, Leah"

"Heh, I see"

Novo made it to the surface, she was walking through Central Park when she heard rustling coming from a bush.

"If you are here to harm me, I believe you underestimate me." Novo snarled as she turned around and saw a siren guard come out of the bush, "General."

"Princess"

"Why are you here? I've made my decision, so has Coral."

"I was sent by the queen. I think she should meet her granddaughter"

"She should've thought of that before she not only disrespected my husband but his family and the city he protects!"

"Princess, she just wanted to look out for y-!"

"Oh really?! Was she looking out for me when she tried to force me into marriage?! When she sent guards and my sister after me and my husband?!"

"Princess please calm down, you're drawing a lot of attention to yourself. Arranged marriages are tradition, and she saw your husband as someone who's just a distraction-!"

"A distraction?! How dare you!" Novo growled, "Just get out of my sight! I never want to see another siren's face for as long as I live!" She started running deeper into the park, holding onto a crying baby Leah.

"Come back here!"

The teenagers were making a little campfire when they saw Novo from behind a bush, she landed on her knees, trying to calm down a baby Leah.

"Huh?"

"Is she okay?" Sera asked, leaning over Ray's shoulder.

"I dunno!"

"We can't get near her, if we interfere with the past it could corrupt the future!" Aubrey pulled out her phone and showed them a picture, "Look, Phillip and Denny are fading away as if they never existed"

"Oh god"

Remus stood up and walked over to Novo, much to the other's protest.

"Remus, get back here!!"

"Excuse me?"

Novo gasped and looked over her shoulder, "I'm sorry, young man... I had no idea you were standing there.."

"It's fine, are you okay?"

"That depends on your definition of fine" Novo chuckled slightly, she then looked at Remus up and down, "You look familiar, have we met?"

"No ma'am"

Novo looked at him, surprised, "Ma'am? A New Yorker calling a woman, "Ma'am" Your mother must have raised you well"

"Well, that's not a lie but you look a bit upset"

"I am mostly upset that my daughter is crying" Novo began calming down a crying baby Leah, humming a song that Remus immediately recognized.

"That sounds familiar"

"Oh, it shouldn't... My father sang that to me and my sister to comfort us" Novo smiled as she began to sing, "Eyes blue like the Atlantic and I'm going down like the Titanic~" Baby Leah immediately closed her eyes and fell asleep.

"Wow"

Remus looked over at the bush, he knew Leah was watching which only made him feel sorry for her.

"Thank you for actually asking if I was okay.."

"No problem, you just remind me of my best friend" Remus sat down next to her, "She's kinda going through something but she's too stubborn to ask for help"

"Really? Troubles with a boy~?"

"You can say that, I'm trying to be there for her. She keeps saying she's fine but I know that it's really hard for her especially since her mom isn't around to help"

"Oh my.. Do you think my advice will help?"

"I think anything will help at this point!"

"I say.. Give her some time.. She must really care about what her problem is to act the way she is and.. Just listening will take you a lot further than you thought"

"Whoa, you're really good at giving advice"

"Takes one who's having similar problems to another.."

"Novo!"

Novo gasped as she turned around and saw a silhouette of a certain turtle in the distance.

"Leo?"

Remus gasped as he quickly stood up, "Well you seem to have company! I should go, my mom is probably waiting for me!"

"But.. nevermind, thank you"

"You're welcome, I hope you and your baby's dad work it out!" Remus smiled, "It's best to have at least your parents than none at all"

"Your right"

"Novo! Look, I'm so-!"

Novo jumped into Leo's arms as he held her tightly, "No, I'm sorry for snapping at you"

"It's okay, it's okay.. You had every right to be mad"

"But I shouldn't have taken it out on you"

"It's okay.. It's okay... guess what?"

"What?"

"They called"

"They did?!" Novo smiled as she looked up at Leo.

"Mmm hmm! They said they'll come and they're bringing their babies!"

"Oh thank the stars!!" Novo kissed his cheek, "Where are we going to host it?"

"Hmm.. up on the rooftops?"

"Sounds extravagant, I'm assuming Coral is coming"

"Of course she is, even though she's gonna hate it~"

"She's warming up to you, just keep her focus on Leah, she loves her"

"Done, my love"

"Remus, what were you thinking?!"

"I was helping"

"She would have recognized you! Right Aubrey?!"

"Actually... She wouldn't have"

"See"

"Why no.."

"Because she died before even knowing Grandmama, by the looks of it, it has been a couple of years since Grandpapa's death"

"Ie, dead dad plus mom not knowing any of your parents until recently equals not being recognized"

"But she thought you looked familiar, you saw the hesitation when she got a good look of you"

"I know and I'm sorry"

"It's fine" Leah looked at him, "Am I really that stubborn?"

"Yes"

"You really are stubborn princess"

"I have to agree with Raydiant and Remus"

"Ditto!"

"Wow"

Later that night

"Is everything ready?"

"Yes, Leonardo" Coral looked at him, "What's the game here?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Why did you invite your brothers?"

"For Leah to know she's not the only one and to meet her cousins"

"She's an infant, she wouldn't know the difference"

"I know how old she is, but I did a little research and it all came down to if babies and toddlers have been around each other since they were young, it'll help them when they get older"

"And if something goes wrong?"

"All of us will be here, we'll help out, everything will be fine!" He chuckled then got a water balloon thrown at his head. "Hey!"

"Um, That wasn't Michelangelo... No one is there"

"Then who?"

Leo froze as he turned around and saw a black figure standing at the edge of the building.

"What's wrong?"

"Coral, go get Novo... Now-!" The figure lunged at Leo, a knife in their hands.

"Novo!"

Coral tried running away but the figure jumped in front of her and punched her in the gem, cracking it.

The figure then threw her over to the baby carrier that Leah was placed in, they slowly began walking towards the carrier when Leo hit them in the head.

"Get away from her!!"

The figure slowly turned their head towards Leo, it lunged once again at him to the point where they had him pinned down and was about to strike the final blow when a tanto stopped the blade, it wasn't Leo's or Coral.

"Novo?"

"You think I would ever miss a fight?" Novo ripped the figure off of Leo and helped him up, "Just like old times, right darling?"

"Of course!"

Novo tossed him his old katana blades, "Let's show this brute the proper way to fight."

"Gladly"

The couple began to attack the figure, weakening them but only for a moment. As rain began falling, the figure managed to catch Leo by surprise as shoved him onto his back.

"Ouch"

"Now, you will know what it's like to have your whole world taken from you." The figure spoke which surprised Leo, when he realized the voice was from a girl who sounded young.

"What are you talking about?! I haven't done anything to you!"

"But you do know these words... Long live Oroku Saki." The figure was about to strike the final blow once again when Novo jumped in front of him.

"NO!" Leo and Leah, who was watching from a distance, shouted, overlapping each other as the knife impaled Novo's chest.

"No.. no.."

The figure pulled out the knife and watched as Novo fell into Leo's arms.

"You weren't the first and you won't be the last."

Leo looked up and realized that the figure disappeared but it didn't matter anymore, he looked down at Novo who was bleeding out.

"L... Leo..?"

"Hey, hey.. I'm right here, please.."

Novo smiled weakly, "It's... time... for your... Next adventure, darling..."

"But.. I don't know what I'm gonna do tomorrow.. Or without you.."

"Isn't that exciting... Take care of Leah for me... And Coral..." Novo slowly began to close her eyes, as Leo kept trying to put pressure on the wound.

"Don't close your eyes Novo.. please.. I love you"

Novo slowly reached up for his cheek and squashed it one last time, "I... Adore... You too..." Her arm fell to the ground as she gave her final breath.

"No..."

Leo gently shook her but she didn't move.

"Please... Sing your song again... Please..." Leo started sobbing, he started to sing, "E-Eyes blue... Like the Atlantic... And I'm going down... Novo please!"

From the distance, he wasn't the only one sobbing.

"Mom..." Leah had tears streaming down her face as she reached out for them, "Dad..."

"Oh Lele.."

The team hugged their leader tightly, as she began sobbing her eyes out.

Back with the adults

"So, you all want me to travel through time to get your kids back?" Renet asked, she was called by Mikey (once they figured out what the hell happened. )She grew out her blonde hair out which was now in a French braid, she grew taller and was still holding the time-scepter.

"Yes please"

"Man, I dunno" Renet looked at her scepter, "I really shouldn't be doing this but since we're friends I guess I could break the rules this once!"

"Hey, you broke way more rules when we were younger!"

"True, Raph! Oh, Haley, have you taken a test ye-!"

"Get the kids back, Renet and stop trying to tell our future!"

"Okay! Okay!"

Renet use the scepter to open a portal which the teenagers immediately fell out of.

"Kids!"

The smiles immediately faded once they saw the tear stains on their faces.

"What happened?!"

Renet used her scepter to see what timeline they came from.

"Oh, I see..." Renet walked over to them and kneeled down, "You saw her, huh?"

The only response she got was a nod.

"Yeah, no amount of time-travel could undo that moment but you know what"

".. what?"

"Without that moment, a couple of years later none of you would've saved the world"

".. I guess that's true"

"Exactly, and I always tell the truth!" Renet smiled at them as she stood up.

"Thanks Renet"

"You're welcome, Turtle Warriors" Renet smiled, "Listen no matter what happens, keep your heads up it can only get worse for it to get better"

"See ya!"

Renet opened a portal and flew through it, "Goodbye warriors! See you in the history pages!"

"Leah?"

Leah looked up at Leo, who was sitting next to her, concerned.

"I'm right here"

Leah began crying as she hugged him tightly, "I saw her... I saw everything"

"Hey, hey.. I know.. I know" He said, hugging back and holding her close.

"Did it hurt... Raising me?"

".. some days it did.. But"

"Hmm?"

"I had way more good days"

"Really?" Leah looked at him, confused.

"Yeah.. what I mean is, some days I really wished your mom was here helping me.. But I managed"

Leah giggled, "I'm glad you did, dad"

"Aww"

"Sorry Mus, we didn't get a chance to talk to her"

"It's okay, I got some advice and I think it'll help"

"Aww"

A few hours later

Zoey rubbed her eyes, partially red from tears and the rest from waking up from a nap and walked into the kitchen.

"Hey mom?"

"Huh?"

"Are you okay? You look like you've been crying"

".. not really"

"What's wrong?" Remus sat down at the table as she sat down next to him.

"I could not go to sleep last night so.. I got up and went to the kitchen and made myself a snack.. Then I heard you and Nymph"

Remus turned bright red, "Um... What do you mean you heard us?"

"I heard you two come back from the lair, I also heard other noises but never mind that.. I heard you two singing"

"You did?"

"Yeah.. what were you two singing?"

"Just a love song, called: A thousand years"

"Cute.. when I heard you two singing.. I had a flashback to when your dad was still here.. We had our own love song and almost every time we were together, we'd play and sing along.."

"Oh... I'm sorry I remind you of him-!"

"Don't be sorry, Remus.. Okay? Just be proud"

"Proud?"

"Mmm hmm, I know you never got to know him the way your older siblings did, but in my opinion, you bring joy to all of us by being you"

Remus smiled at her and hugged her tightly, as Zoey hugged back.
