A few days later

Coral was reading a book when once again Casey disrupted her.

"Come on Coral! I'm bored!"

"Okay? Why is that my problem"

"Because, you bring me entertainment when the kids aren't doing anything to give me entertainment!"

"No. Now please let me read-!" Coral gasped as Nightshade accidentally spilled soda all over her.

"Oops, I'm so-!"

"Sorry. SORRY?! Is that all you have to say?! That's it. I am done with you... you...you imbeciles!"

"Coral, it's just some pop! I can-!"

"No, you don't have to do anything! I am done. I should've left the moment... the moment when LEONARDO PROPOSED TO NOVO!" Coral froze as she heard everyone gasp.

"Oh.. that's f**ked up.."

"Leo?"

"Dad?"

"Leonardo... Leah, I didn't realize you were standing.... I should go"

".. probably the best idea you've had all day."

Coral grabbed her items and left the gardens, through the roof.

"Leo? You okay?"

"I'm fine, how about you guys sit down?"

"Okay?"

Leo sat down and inhaled deeply, "Look... It's no surprise that me and Coral never got along"

"Nope, wasn't it because of Novo choosing to be with you and not be a princess?"

"Yes, but the day it started was the same day me and Novo fell in love and that is a story"

"Oh?"

"You already told us this story"

"Well, I told the abridged version, not the full story"

"Leo, what are you talking about?"

"When I first met her, that's when I fell in love but not when she did"

"So, when did she fall in love with you?"

"Well... Remember the night when the chimera attacked? I was sitting outside"

Flashback

Leo was sitting at the porch, staring at the forest when he heard the door open.

"Am I bothering you?"

Leo chuckled as he heard the familiar French accent, "Not at all, Novo"

"What are you doing out here? It's getting late"

"Just needed some fresh air" Leo rubbed his leg as Novo bent down in front of him and began rubbing his leg. "Now, it's my turn to ask, what are you doing?"

"I'm healing it, remember I'm not human or did you forget my fearless leader?" Novo teased as Leo turned bright red.

".. you don't have to heal it"

"Yes I do, a leader has to be strong, powerful" Novo looked up at him, she began to think, "You're eyes"

"What about them?"

"They're beautiful"

".. so are yours"

Novo blushed as she stood up, she placed her hand out, "Dance with me"

"R-really?"

"Why not?" Novo smiled as Leo took his hand, the two began slow dancing while Novo hummed a song.

"What are you humming?"

"A song my father use to sing to me"

"Oh.. it sounds beautiful"

Novo rubbed his cheek as she stared into his eyes and began to sing the last verse of the song, "Eyes blue like the Atlantic and I'm going down like the titanic~"

"Wow.. it sounds beautiful"

"Yes" Novo gasped as Leo moved her hair out of her face to show her siren features.

"Beautiful.. why do you cover your features up?"

"If the others found out, they won't accept me"

"Yes, they will, look at us"

"No, they won't"

"Yes they will! Novo, we're mutants for crying out loud! Why would you think they won't accept you?"

"Leo, I'm a siren... A beacon of death who talks to fish and lure men to their deaths"

"And? You haven't tried to kill or hurt any of us.. you are beautiful and everyone's gonna accept you, if they don't and you leave, I'm going with you"

"Leo, I can't ask you to do that"

"That's not me asking"

Novo's eyes widened as she fell in love with Leo and Leo smiled as he rubbed her cheeks.

".. I really like you"

"I... adore you too" Novo smiled and kissed his forehead.

"Now.. why don't we go back inside?"

The two smiled at each other. What they didn't realize was that Coral was watching them.

"It's late, why aren't you two in bed."

"Coral!"

"Come inside and go to sleep."

"We will, Leo, do you care to walk me to my room?"

"Of co-!"

"I can walk her myself, go to your room Leonardo."

"Coral, please" Novo placed her hand on Coral's shoulder and gave her a small smile, "It's alright"

".. fine"

Leo and Novo walked upstairs but Leo and Coral stared at each other as a rivalry began.

"Wow"

"Yeah, that night she saw me as a enemy"

"Still doesn't explain why, or a better reason for it"

"You guys don't know her"

"That's an understatement"

"So.. should we go look for her?"

"Coral, never handled her emotions when she was younger so she expresses them the only way she knows by running away so give her space"

"Okay"

"Haley.. you wanted to tell me something?"

"Yeah, come here babe"

"Okay?" Raph said, confused as he got up and walked over to her.

"God, Lovey said something and now I'm in a funk"

"What happened?"

"She asked if we would have another kid and-!"

"I'd love to have another kid"

"What?!"

"I mean.. it was always something I wanted to talk to you about after you had Ray.. I'd love to have another baby, this time, with you here"

Haley chuckled, "Alright"

"Why?"

"I mean, my clock is running out anyways plus I got this corset on"

"Why are you wearing the corset? You look fine!"

"Babe, it's not to make me look good, it's for you to pay attention"

".. okay, okay, I'm sorry"

"Ah, don't be sad" Haley rubbed his cheeks, "I haven't seen you in months, I'm touch starved"

"Aww.."

Raph held onto her as Haley swayed back and forth.

"Any more stories you all wanna tell us?"

"Nope, nothing at al-!"

"Nymph called Mus daddy!"

"I thought we weren't gonna talk about that!!"

Haley and Raph ran over to them, "Excuse me?"

"Aunty, you were there! Uncle Raphie, Nymph called Mus daddy!"

Raph started dying of laughter alongside Haley who thought it was too funny to forget.

"I.. need an explanation for that, what the hell..?" Leo and Donnie asked in confusion.

"It was an accident! I swear!!" Nymph turned bright red.

"It won't be an accident when you start calling him that in the sheets~" Karai teased.

"Mother!"

"Oh let me tease my brother and his girlfriend in peace, daughter! At least it's not you.. yet"

"Like I would call anyone "Daddy" please."

"She's right, Hayden would call her "Mommy-!"

"Oh, he'll call you mommy?"

"He better."

"Oh someone sounds stressed"

"Shut up."

Coral was running through the city, tears streaming down her face.

"Why am I crying.. I'm not supposed to cry!"

Coral fell on her face, "I can't...."

"Look what we have here"

Coral gasped as she looked up and saw gem guards staring at her.

"C-23, you're coming with us."

"No, I won't-!" Coral tried to stab them but they grabbed her arm.

"Too late."

"No!"

The gem guards dragged her through a diamond shaped portal and threw her in a cell.

"Let go of me!" Coral tried to bang on the door but it electrocuted her. "Ow!!"

"Blue Diamond will be here to discuss your shattering."

"Shattering.. no.. no.."

The guards walked away as Coral thought about her life.

"I need to leave.. I can't get shattered.."

Coral leaned against the wall,"Leah... She needs me, right?"

"Or.. was I that bad of an aunt that she won't"

Coral then remembers all the horrible things she said to everyone including Leah.

"Oh.. I doubt she'll want me there.."

Coral closed her eyes when she had a flashback to Novo's mother.

Flashback

"You summoned me, Queen Alanna?"

"Yes, I wanted to talk to you about Novo"

"Oh, she is doing well with her human talk and her lessons!"

"That's not what I meant, we both know what I'm talking about.. more specifically who."

"... I have no idea what you mean" Coral looked around, trying to keep the secret that Novo was hiding.

"So, you don't know that she sneaks out in the middle of the night?"

"No...?"

"You were never a good liar. What else is she hiding? Why can't she just marry one of the nobles and stop talking to them!"

"She can't!"

"Why not?! She better be pregnant because that's the only way she can get out of this!!"

"She's already married and trying for a baby!" Coral gasped and covered her mouth.

"SHE'S WHAT?!"

Coral looked down as Alanna grabbed her arm and swam to the surface.

"Where is she?! Show me where she is, right now!!"

"But your majesty, humans will spot you-!"

"So what!" Alanna screamed at Coral then realized how much she was losing it and took a breath. "Coral, listen to me and listen well."

Coral looked up at her to show that she was listening.

"You better find some way to bring my daughter back. Bring her and the baby too, I do not care. Either bring them back, or don't come back at all. Got it."

"... Yes your highness"

"Good, now run along."

Coral ran straight towards the lair where she spotted Novo and Leo on the couch.

"Novo, I need to talk to y-!"

"Coral! Look!"

Coral walked over to them as Leo held up a positive pregnancy test.

"You're gonna be an aunty!"

"... What?"

"I'm gonna have a baby Coral! Oh, you're gonna be such a good aunty!"

"No... No, you can't have this baby!"

"What?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Novo, what will the sirens think?! When that... half-breed baby is clinging to you! Oh stars... what will your mother think?"

"I don't care! I don't wanna be a queen to people who won't love Leo and my child as much as I do! As for my mother.. she can either be in her grandchild's life or not!"

"Leonardo, convince her to go back! The Queen will not like this-!"

"If Novo says she doesn't want to go back, who am I to force her, she's not going back"

"Oh, you just want her as eye candy!"

"And you want her as nothing but a crown jewel! She wants to stay! It's her choice and I find it stupid as hell that you're telling me to try and convince her to go back when it's her life and her choice! If you don't like it, go!"

"... I'm sorry but your mother found out about this life you created and even though I don't like it, I would never force this"

".. you get two choices, you either respect it and get a place to lay your head, or you can leave."

"I'll stay, but you know your mother"

"I know, but I love Leo and I'll love this baby"

Coral opened her eyes, "She loved him... what have I done.."

Coral sighed as she heard the door open and saw Blue Diamond.

"C-23"

"It's not C-23. It's Coral, the siren traitor."

"Coral, you know you will be shattered for your crimes"

"I know and I would like to hear them"

"You left your guard of Princess Novo, got Princess Novo killed and betrayed your own kind by teaming up with those humans, mutants and their children. I should shatter you right here, right now"

"Princess Novo, she died for love."

"Still, why don't I get this over with by shattering you right here and now."

"Go ahead."

Blue Diamond just stared at Coral for a few moments, then took a spear and stabbed something, shattering it.

Coral gasped as she looked down at the fake gem shards Leo dropped on the ground.

"You should've put up more of a fight, now come on"

"Leonardo?"

"Yes, me, are we gonna stand here all day or do you wanna come back home?"

"Yes, let's go!"

Back at the botanical garden

"Mikey, I can't cook with you rubbing my back!" Lovey giggled as Mikey stood behind him.

"Then, let's ask someone else to cook! I missed you cupcake"

"Mike-Star, I missed you too but I'm pretty sure you proved that a couple of times"

"I know! And I don't care!"

"Oh? Maybe I should stop right now" Lovey smiled as she kissed his neck.

"Maybe you should~"

"And maybe, you two can take that somewhere else and let me cook, before you set the place on fire"

"Karai! Come on!"

"I'm just saying! The water's about to boil out!"

"Dah!" Lovey moved the pot and turned off the stove.

"See"

"Mikey was distracting me with his cuteness!"

"Then go be distracted outside of the kitchen"

"Fine, you're going to make dinner?"

"Yes!"

"Do that-!" Mikey puts Lovey over his shoulder and runs away.

"Oh my god"

"Aunt Rai?" Sera walked over to her.

"Yes Sera?"

"Can I show you my bracelet?"

"Sure, let me see"

Sera showed Karai the friendship bracelet she made which was matching Lena's.

"Aww, cute.. now go bother the others, I need to cook"

"Okay!!"

Karai shook her head and started cooking some pasta.

".. can I help you cook sis?"

Karai froze as she turned around and saw Remus.

"Um.. yeah, come on.. how come you aren't with the others?"

"I needed a break"

"Mmm.. come on"

Remus started helping her then he began hearing noises, "Is that Mikey and Love-!"

"Do not ask, I need alcohol to answer that and we don't have any"

"Done" Remus snickered at her and went back to helping her cook. ".. what was he like?"

"Father?"

"Yeah.. the others refuse to tell me and mom is both grey area and has trauma so.. your the next best person to ask"

"Well, he was strict but nice, he loved his life"

"I heard that muc-!"

"Oh look at that, the food has to go in the oven for a few minutes, I can put it in, go talk to the others!"

"Why does everyone stop talking about him?!" He shouted, hoping to get an answer from his oldest sister, but she was gone. "Damn it!!"

"Mus?"

"What." He grumbled then looked up and saw Leah and Nymph staring at him.

"... Nevermind" Nymph looked away from him and ran away but Leah stared at him, disappointed.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Your upset"

"Oh, what a good observation" Remus grumbled sarcastically and clapped.

"Remus.."

"I know, I snapped at her, let me go apologize to her-!"

"Snapping at her isn't the problem, the problem is you lashing out at us"

"I didn't mean to, I'm just annoyed"

"Because you wanna know more about your father, I get it"

"And yet, every time I ask, they either tell me the same thing or change the subject.. I'm sorry"

"You know I'm the person who understands the best, I wish I knew more about my mother"

".. fair"

"It'll be okay, they can't hide forever"

"They really can't.. Now can I go apologize?"

"Go ahead"

"Thanks!"

"Leonardo, I'm sorry ab-!"

"Don't worry about it, Coral" Leo gave her a warm smile, "I know it's a struggle"

".. thank you"

"Be honest with me, do you really hate me?"

".. I did"

"You did?"

"Yes.. after you and Novo eloped that's when I started hating you.. When she was pregnant with Leah it kept growing and when she was killed.. It stopped.. Because you weren't the reason she died"

"I guess you can say I wasn't the same after that night because I wasn't, I had to be strong"

"Shall we call a truce to our ridiculous rivalry?"

"I would like that" Leo chuckled as both him and Coral shook hands, "I am claiming the siren vow, the rivalry ends today"

As they shook hands, they heard clapping and saw the others watching.

"Finally!!"

"Oh hush!"

"Honestly, you all are children"

"You love us Coral!"

Coral looked down and mumbled, "I do, you idiots..."

"What was that?"

"Nothing Jones."
